I called to check inventory on an item and they were very helpful and finding the Funko Pop I was looking for. They even held it for me until I arrived. They tried to sell me their annual membership but I declined. Came on a Black Friday and found their funko pop for only $10, usually $14.99. Nice and friendly staff. read more

Called 20x, 15x back to back and 5x an hour later. Lost my business. Was coming in to buy a ps5. Terrible customer service. Seems like this is a theme for this location. read more

Came here to return a ps5 controller that had a warranty on it. Brett said they didn't have any used ones in stock to replace it with & sent me 20 minutes out of my way to another store. The warranty states IF they don't have used controllers to replace it with they are to replace it with a NEW one NOT send you out of your way to another store that has used ones in stock. Also reporting this to customer service read more

The service in this store is awful. The employees don't know company policies so depending on who you talk to and when you will get completely different information about policies. This will lead to more frustration than driving to a different location and dealing with people who know what to do will. Trust me! read more

I was looking for a particular game, and this place was the only business that was offering it in my area. I know most people buy their games digitally, but I prefer the physical copy of games. I know Gamestop will eventually go out of business the same way as Blockbuster video, but I'd like to keep funding the ancient memories of physical games, because it's what I'm used to. read more

Walked in yesterday I was polite said hi wanted to trade in my ps5 gave me a weird look & was told they don't take trades at all this store but every other game stop does never heard this before beware of coming to this location I feel like if I was white they would of let me trade in my ps5 read more

My husband and I were on our way to In N Out today when we saw a line in the parking lot of this GameStop. I tried calling them to find out what it was for, but they never picked up, probably because of how busy it must've been for them. When I stopped to ask what the line was for, the sales associate working there was super nice in telling me that it was for a PS5 bundle, but there wouldn't have been enough stock for anyone else to jump in the line. I appreciated his honesty and kindness when I'm sure it was a hectic time for him with the stock release of such a sought-after system. We also came here last year for the release of Pokémon Sword and Shield. They gave us freebies for waiting and had a very organized system to make sure no one cut in line or tried to get a copy of the game without a preorder. They are very efficient and do a good job of showing you their appreciation. There is a very small parking lot that the store shares with other businesses in the plaza, so you might not always get a spot in the lot. read more

Great GameStop!!! I love this GameStop a lot because it's my local one and pretty nice staff usually I just hate the fact the parking lot is very small and sometimes there's issues trying to park but so far it's great read more

I've lived in the San Fernando Valley a long time, and I've been to this GameStop many times, as a result. I honestly can't say I recall ever having had a bad experience. Not even one! I have fond memories of visiting this particular location dating back years. Each and every time I find myself needing to head to this store, the employees are always extremely kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to answer any questions I have. Although there are a handful of other GameStops in the SFV, I inevitably end up picking this one to keep returning to the most often, thanks to the employees, service, and just generally good vibes. I was in just the day prior to writing this review, and Isar & Todd in particular (shoutout to you two!) were super helpful in answering a couple questions I had! Anthony, who I believe has helped me in the past as well, also comes across as a really nice person. GameStop in general can be hit or miss, but with this location in particular, they're always hitting 100. Highly recommend. read more

tried to purchase a game at a discounted sticker price of $49.99 (originally $79.99) and the staff told me the discounted price was a mistake. instead of honoring the price they told me there was nothing they could do about it. the staff member was clearly asserting themselves a little too aggressively in the hopes i wouldn't escalate it to management exposing the staffs pricing mistake. stick to buying on amazon, 0/10 experience read more

The staff here really know gaming and will answer any questions you may have. They really make every visit pleasant. I found Resident Evil Village Collector's Edition at this store. It was sold out everywhere. They always have the best videogames available and also carry collector's editions in stock. This is the best Gamestop in the SF Valley!!! read more

This place sucks!!! Apparently the employees can just take off in the middle of their shift and just close the store down if they feel like. We drove down to pick up a game we ordered, called first to make sure they were opened, only to arrive at a closed store with a handwritten sign taped to the door saying, "be right back 3:45". It was 2:45. So the employee just up and left the store closed because they had to go score drugs or go home to take a sh*t or maybe they had to go to their safe space for a while. This is the new normal for customer service since gen Z entered the workforce. read more

Had pre ordered hogwarts legacy 5 months ago and told the guy that I wanted the special edition. Paid for it in full. Now today is the 7th which is the gamestop release date for the game. Went in and was told I have to wait til Friday because they were sold out. On top of that the guy tells me I only purchased the standard edition. So I get screwed over. The game has been paid in full for 5 months. Not very happy. I will come back in on Friday and hopefully I can speak to the manager. To me this is completely unacceptable. Maybe get some better employees that understand the customers needs and wants. read more

I went in today with my neighbor though they did not have any wireless or wired xbox controllers the gentlemen working were very nice and knowledgeable. Both employees were wearing masks. The one employee who came in from his lunch (I am assuming considering his bag) was already fully masked up properly before he even came into the store. The other employee never touched or fidgeted with his. tldr: THEY WEAR MASKS. THEY ENFORCE MASKS. read more

This lil store packs a BIG punch. They have a huge selection of video games....as well as other video game related products for sale here. I was looking for an extra PS2 controller...and they had a used one for $14.99. It was in perfect condition. Also, I was looking at the PSP games & movies while I was there.... I bought a PSP game (Death Jr. II) for $12.99 Nice staff...and very helpful. Greets you and asks if you need help. Will look up new & used prices for you in the computer. I will be back to look for games in a couple of months when the prices go down a bit for a few titles that I want read more

I went in yesterday to return a Xbox series S. Dealing with GameStop.com on the phone was a disappointment but the manager on site was extremely helpful and was able to resolve my issue. He went above and beyond to make sure my problem was fixed even though they were extremely busy dealing with all the ps5 madness. Thanks again read more

Wow. Exceptional service. Isar just patiently walked me through a bunch of alternative options. I needed questions answered and he had all the answers and more patience than I ever would expect. Top notch service. Thanks read more

Google says the store opens at 11:00 a.m. Yelp says 10 a.m. I get to the store to pick up an order and the hours posted say 12:00 p.m. is opening time. I called as well. There are employees in the store but the store is closed/locked up. This information needs to be updated. I don't get it. It's a waste of people's time not knowing and then showing up. read more

The staff at this GameStop is always very welcoming and helpful when I visit to peruse or purchase. I also like how they do not do hard or high pressure sales tactics, and they are more concerned with getting the customer what they want and need. Danielle was particularly helpful and patient during my last two transactions, really showing how an associate can shine bright when representing the store and company. I will continue to have this be my go-to local store for my gaming related needs. read more

They never answer the phone. GameStop is dying and so is physical media and they don't even care. I am forced to buy digital instead of trying to hound GameStop employees to actually do their job. Oh well. read more

The staff here are very inconsiderate... their customer service is lacking and give a tone of a "I don't care about what you need". Won't be coming back to this location. read more

I've been to the other GameStop locations around the valley, and I would typically drive out to the one in the empire center in Burbank. Mainly because I knew it was there, and I've been going there for years. I just liked the staff, and they seem knowledgable. I wanted to know which gaming headset to get, and asked about them earlier in the night before picking up a midnight release game at the empire center location. I ended up not picking it up that night, but finally decided to take the plunge. I didn't feel like fighting traffic out there, so I thought I'd give this one a shot... Much like Starbucks, each location has a different temperament and experience (due to the employees at a given store). AM I GLAD I DID!! Nop helped me out, and he is GREAT!! and he took the time to explain the pros and cons of the various models, not just show me products. It turns out I would've gotten the wrong headset if I had picked one up with the game. Thank you NOP for all the advice an help read more

Ian is the man. He spent a lot of time helping me out the other day with my New Nintendo DS. I had to transfer all of my things from my old DS. I love this GameStop, the staff is really polite and helpful, they pretty much always have any game you would look for. The one tiny minus is the parking, this GameStop is located in a tiny plaza which is always packed, but I never found it impossible to get a parking space! read more

What suckers are keeping this place in business? Amazon, Best Buy, Wal mart, and Target all sell their NEW games for less than what this places charges for their USED games. No joke, USED ps4 golf game here $50. Same game on Amazon $11. Same game at Wal mart $14. I did not see one used game that was cheaper than the new games I see for sale at any other store or online storefront. I even asked the clerk three different times if I was reading the price tag correctly. I was completely dumbfounded and still am. Why are people buying games here. I'll never go in a GameStop again. I simply do not understand why anyone would buy a game here. They get one star Bc Yelp would not allow me to give them ZERO stars. read more

Nice GameStop, clean inside, and like all GameStop stores, chaotically well-arranged! Staff was friendly and willing to help.

usually hate gamestops but this one has proven itself to be different with its employees. Cheap old school Xbox and Wii games are the reason we come here. Fixed an old xbox watching youtube and can now play old school HALO!

Waited here for the midnight release of Nintendo Switch. They were the only store that actually told me if they had consoles available that I would get. All others I called said I had to just wait and see.. for 7.5 hours... because of this I used this store. They are great! Thanks! read more

I had an issue with my system. It's a long and convoluted story but rest assured, trust me when I say it was difficult and frustrating. This is where this particular GameStop shines so bright. Ian was very helpful and courteous. He took the time to listen and most of all understand my situation. It was during the worst time of the year too ( call of duty launch) but He was patient and he provided me with an option that completely eradicated my problem. Robert a.k.a. Burke was also very friendly and helpful. The two of them made unfortunate experience A pleasant one. And that goes along way. With all the competition you see these days, it is service like this that makes people happy to come back and shop at a place like GameStop as opposed to Best Buy or Walmart. I will continue doing business with GameStop as long as they continue Employing people like Ian and Burke. Thank you guys and I greatly appreciate all the help. Keep up the amazing job, as it makes a difference to be heard as a gamer. read more

I bought Xbox X series 2k21 game online to pick up in store for 12/23 and they gave me the 2k21 in the Xbox 1, went back to get the one I actually purchased since it's a gift and the girl that was helping me around 4:30pm was persistent on how it's the same game and it could be used for X series which could be true but I was told that Xbox X needs X series games, I wanted the one with Zion Williamson on the cover cus it's a gift and she again said if you go to another store you'll get the same one you have now. So I returned the game since it's not the one I had ordered. She gave me my refund but in cash when I paid in card which I didn't mind until I went to a target and found the one with Zion Williamson on the the cover and it said specifically for Xbox X series. I was expecting it be the same amount as the cash I got back to me but it was more than the refund. She gave me the refund of the game but didn't refund me the tax that I paid as well. So I got terrible service and they stole money from me. If you gonna have people work there at least have them know what they are doing instead of them giving false information and teach them how to give a refund for the exact amount they paid. I would give 0 stars if I could. I do not recommend. read more

I don't buy games very often but this Gamestop was the closest store that had a midnight release for Halo 4. The staff was organized, friendly, and helpful. Of course they'll try to push you into buying extra stuff, although they didn't ask about warranty this time. But that's expected at any Gamestop. There is very little parking though. So if you're going for a popular release you might have to come early, car pool, or park near by on the street or in the McDonald's next door. read more
