I got a headset with a warranty like 3 months ago and it started malfunctioning and i went and they told me they couldnt change it or exchange because of the "policy" when the guy told me no matter what they would give me a new one or exchange it and if they didnt have it they would give me a different headset if i wanted or they would send me to a different store if i wanted the same one and whats the point of the warranty if they dont do nothing about my headset ima just start going to target or best buy cuz gamestop has gone down changing their policies every time and making it worse for the customer read more

IF I CAN I WOULD RATE ZERO!! STARS. Definitely recommend NOT going to this game stop. Went in to buy FC 24 yesterday afternoon and Don up in the register was RUDE. Saw online that it was posted for $29.99 and when I got to the store it said $34.99. When i got up to the register a dude with blonde long hair helped me out and was very friendly but Don came up and snatched my phone out of my hand (didn't even ask to hold my phone) to look at the price. He saw that it was legit so game me back my phone with the approved price match and so we continued with the transaction. Once it was all ready to pay he changed his mind to price match?? but on the website it says that they definitely do price match? So gamestop please update your policy and train Don ( fat asian dude ) that's on register. Will NEVER shop at gamestop again will now only be going to target & walmart. There used to be another game stop in the same area but they closed it and so the closes one was this sorry excuse for a store. Customer service is non-existent unless the workers have something they like to talk about and then they will for hours not giving a F*** of the line of people waiting or the phone ringing (seems to be the hardest thing for them to do). Tried calling to find out if they had a specific game no answer so i ended up taking a gamble and went over there. Waited for 30 min line didn't move and the workers weren't even helping anyone just pretending to be busy. I ended up getting a game off amazon took an extra day but no BS what so ever. Get it off amazon or drive further to a better store (if one exists). (would give negative stars if there was an option) read more

It seems that employees here don't care about games, customers and selling merchandise. The last 4 times I have come to this Gamestop the same employee tells me the game is out of stock and the same employee keeps asking me to redeem my power up reward points because they will "expire". For starters the points never expire according to Gamestop employee in Northridge store location. When I finally decided to redeem my points for gift certificates to buy a game which is also a ripoff reward program, the same employee tells me that my Gamestop certificates do not work. He is not sure why and also does not bother to call customer service for me. Instead tells me theres nothing he can do it about it. I call customer service they apologize for his behavior because his job was to call customer service for me and he clearly failed to care. I will never come to this store ever again. The people that work at this location need retraining in customer service skills or this store needs to be shutdown. Everyone I know that has come here has the worst experience with the employees. They also close the store before the actual closing time claiming they need to clean. Unprofessional retail employees! read more

These guys never bother to answer their phones when you try and call the store number. I've been a witness to one employee who broke away from helping a customer just to pick up and then hang up a phone right away. Instead of answering it and placing them on hold, this person just hung up on them and went back to helping the customer like nothing had happened. This is a typical Game Stop with all your gaming action. What makes it 5 stars is the quality service. Very nice people work here who at the very least pretend to care about the game you decide to talk about for 20 minutes. It's never too crowded unlike a lot of other locations. Also it's right by El Super. So you can buy your next game, and all the goodies you're gonna snack on. read more

I've been meaning to post this but been so busy! So this past weekend I had a slight dilemma where I pre-ordered a game and went in for pickup to just find out that my copy was sold. Right off the bat I was bothered but didn't wanna be that customer. lol Long story short they did everything in their power to see if any copies were left in their inventory. Sure enough no dice, so the store manager John pulled me aside and told me that it was unfortunate what had happened but would help. From the look of it I'm pretty sure he was off too but I could be wrong. Either way he said that he had to go to another store and would check to see if they had an available copy. If the store did then he would actually bring it all the way back and have someone call me for pickup. Sure enough the other store had one and John made the trip back to drop it off. Once I arrived he wasn't there so I could thank him for all his help but was able to revive my copy! Major thanks to John and this team working that day! Worst service ever. Pre ordered Red Redemption in the beginning of the year and was told to come to the midnight launch. Arriving to the launch I had to wait in the back of the line regardless of the pre order status. I want to stress the fact that I purchased this game in the beginning of the year and I was then told that this was just corporates idea and rules. But as a consumer I pre ordered the game to prevent myself from waiting in long lines. I don't think it's fair that someone who bought the game recently gets treated better than someone who bought the game in the beginning of the year. You guys need to fix this system because Im a loyal customer and satisfying your customers should be priority to earn growth within your business. I don't think I'm ever going back to this location or even go back to gamestop to purchase future games. Corporate please prioritize your customers who purchases the games first. I just visited game stop in the city of Arleta. This was my first time visiting the store and I'm happy to say that my overall experience was very satisfying. The store manager, Edgar Luna, was beyond helpful. He took his time answering my questions and helped me understand the various types of game consuls I can choose from. He was also very patient, courteous and very respectful on multiple levels. This store is very fortunate to have this young man represent game stop, he's an excellent asset to the company and has a great attitude. I'm very happy with the type of customer service I received and will certainly be back!!!!! read more

I see all the negative reviews but I did not experience that . I showed up at 10:30 looking for a game for my lil brothers birth after calling around and searching for a week. Getting turned down or getting the run around they did not have the game and it was not available to order but the guy said he ca around because no store had it in his district.
