My disc was not loading and they cleaned if for me and gave me some information on how to troubleshoot if it did not work; John also expressed that he would gladly make it right should I have to come back. I had to return a second time and not only did John remember me; he corrected the issue without a hassle. The staff here are very kind and knowledgeable about the products which they sell. I always have a good experience when shopping here and I feel that the items are priced very reasonable.

They really know how to burn their customers…read more I've been to D-Pad several times in the past and have had virtually no problems, so it was a huge shock to me when they sold my fiancé and I several marked up PS2 games without disclosing the issues prior to purchase. There was sharpie on the discs, cases, and booklets on every single one of the games, but when we brought them back to return them a few days later they charged us a 10% restock fee because they 'weren't defective.' The guy DID tried to get the sharpie off, but outside of that the entire situation was just horrible business practice. If you shop here, open and check the PS2 cases before making a purchase. They openly admitted that they received some 200+ PS2 games that were all marked up. Hope this helps someone.

Six minutes went by with absolutely no interaction, no reply, no answer. That was the first time in my lifespan that I've ever seen somebody behave that way in a customer based business. We find something every time we visit, and we'll find some gems more often than not. The store is organized super intuitively so we'll find what we're looking for with minimal effort, and if it's not in store the incredibly amazing staff will see if it's at another location for us. This location is also pretty game focused, so if you're looking for a wider selection of merch another location may be more suited for your needs. They do have some good merch, it's just not as much as some of the other locations. That being said, we've found some really cool collectibles here like gaming statues that are just too spectacular to pass up. I will be the first to admit that we look for every excuse to visit Game Over. Zero shame. This place rocks.

To an extent I realize this is based off what gets brought in by customers looking to sell, but the organization of this store was also top-notch. In addition to ATARI 2600 cartridges, there were a few select Commodore 64 and Intellivision cartridges; on the opposite side of the spectrum, they had a decent wall of PS4 and Xbox One. So practically no matter what generation console games you're looking for, you'll find it here! Loads of games for handhelds as well, including GameGear, PSP, and all the Nintendo handhelds. You'll also find some neat modern "gamer gear" like hats, wallets/lanyards, plushies, etc. Some old guidebooks and manuals. And a fridge full of beverages. This location has a console museum too, where you can step through time and admire how far video game technology has come! Some really obscure consoles in the glass cases, with descriptions of each. So rad! *w* There's also an Artist's Alley toward the back, where you can support local artists who do video game related art. I love seeing all the creativity and how gamers get inspired! I did come in to do an exchange, because one of the ATARI 2600 cartridges I'd gotten from another location turned out to be a dud. The employee, Jake, was cool about it and happily supplied me another copy they had in inventory. Gotta give him some props- he's an excellent multi-tasker. When I came in, it was pretty busy and he was the only one there, but he did great at attending to everyone and cheerfully at that, even with the phone ringing too! This location doesn't have a set-up to test/demo anything in the store (some Game Over Videogames do), but they did seem to have a backroom area where you could schedule to host a party/meet-up, and that's pretty neat.

Game area is small, has some vintage toy displays as well... ALL DISPLAYED IN THE WINDOW... FULL SUNLIGHT... It hurt my soul a little bit to see these items displayed where they can get sunbleached AND are over priced on top of it. They had some cool games though and they clearly loved creating the displays, they did a great job there. Cool for photo ops if you are into that. Not my thing unfortunately.

Plenty of room, a separate snack bar/eating area, air conditioning (we definitely weren't sweltering here), and just an overall beautiful building. Five dollars got you a ticket for prize giveaways and a blue band to get in and out as frequently as you would like throughout the day. Of course the time you spent at the show depended on if you were really looking for that CGC 9.9 Walking Dead #1 that sold for $10,000 on eBay recently or basically going through and seeing what was randomly available. The sellers were nice even when you weren't interested in anything or just browsing. I never felt pressured. But I did buy three ***STUNNING*** drawings by artist Tracy Watkins (I haven't had time to add the pics but I will as soon as I'm able to.). He even signed them for us too. :D Parking was not much of a challenge since attendees were in almost constant turnover. This was an afternoon well spent!
