There is also an order window (The Backyard) with a full bar. It's a great open space, that's fenced in, to hangout. Great for kids as well. There is plenty of space to play and even swings for adults and some games like giant connect 4, and giant Jenga. There are picnic tables with umbrellas and some misters. Today was a stifling day and there just didn't seem to be enough shade. Only about 3 tables had full shade and they were already full. I recommend they get more shade coverage. Whenever they have a busy night, I imagine you may need to bring your own lawn chairs. They were building a stage, I assume for music, so that's neat. They did have loud music playing anything from classic rock to country which was a nice mix. I love the concept of reusing an unused space and the openness. They just need their draft beers fixed (maybe add more craft), more shade, and open the food trucks the whole time (they closed 3-5p when we were there). But I like it! Unique for Seguin.

It was truly one of the highlights of my trip and I would highly recommend visiting to anyone in the area, and I hope to go again in the future! The parking nearby was a short walk but nothing crazy, and once we got to the Market it was shaded very well and had such a variety of stands both inside and outside of the buildings which I loved. It was a little hot outside so it was nice to be able to rotate between both areas. There was also such a great mix of stores, restaurants, snack stands, and artisans and crafts throughout. We grabbed some aguas frescas to sip on while we explored and they were delicious and a great price for how big they were. We had a big breakfast but it would be nice to try some of the many lunch spots they had throughout the market. The stores had everything but I loved the amount of talavera pottery to choose from and stocked up as much as my suitcase would allow. Prices are super reasonable as well considering these are handmade artisan pieces. I use my tazas everyday and they are the best coffee cups I have ever had. The merchants are super friendly and helpful as well. Everyone was very welcoming and made it a great experience. I hope to be back in the future!

Meh... I've lived in San Antonio a long time and was super excited to finally see market square…read more.. well. I'm disappointed!!! EVERYTHING looks the same. We went on a Sunday so it was not crowded but it was BORING. My 16 year old called it Lame and the best part about Market square for both of us was the caricature guy. I've waited many years to visit the place and wish I would have left it on my to do list. I'm sure it's really pretty at night but I was bored and Underwhelmed.

We've gone to 600 Degrees Pizzeria several times before, both for takeout and also for dine-in at…read morethe original location a block away. This time we stopped by the market for a single slice on the way to Dallas. The price for a slice seemed a bit steep (2-3x what you'd expect to pay in a city like Montreal or NYC) but we figured there must have been a good reason for the price to be so high. And there was indeed.. Behold! We opened the box and found a texas-sized pizza slice as big as big as a personal pizza! I was taken aback and wondered if I would be able to finish all that (I did, not sure how, but when there is a will, there is a way...) It turns out that these slices were the best 600 Degrees pizza we've ever had. They were super fresh, cheesy and tasty, the crust was thin and delicious, almost reminiscent of sourdough. It outshined everything we've ever tasted there before, which was good already. This experience leaves me with all sorts of questions like, are these as big as yo face pizza slices baked in a different oven than the regular pizzas? Or did the chef just have an excellent day that day? Either way, we were very happy. We'll have to try their slices again and see if it's a new standard of excellence that's permanent or if it was a magical, one-time fluke. See you again soon, 600 Degrees Marketplace! We'll be back.
