Today I went to to this Target for the first time because I needed new hair products. I am African American so I need products made for my hair type. To my dismal the aisle that the "Black" people hair products were in offended my at first sight. They have an entire isle of these products (which I do appreciate) in a aisle all facing outward toward the store. I felt like I was being racially profiled simply shopping here as if I needed to be watched simply because of the products that I was purchasing. I have NEVER felt so obviously profiled in my life and it made me extremely uncomfortable. I will NEVER step foot into this Target or any other store that is so obviously racist. DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS FROM TARGET!!!I bought a $50 gift card for my sister's birthday, it was one of the basic cards from the checkout register. When she tried to use it, the manager told her it was a fake card and would not honor the amount we paid. We went back to the store with the card and receipts from our target account showing the purchase and they still said there was nothing they could do for us. This Target has got to be the best location I have ever been to. The last time I visited this location the store looked completely different. The remodel to this place is amazing. I particularly enjoyed the Harry Potter section as soon as you walked in LOL The fitting room/ sitting area is phenomenal and the employees working the fitting room are super helpful and sweet. This review is specifically for the amazing service from two Target Associates. Sergio and Gaby (spelling?) go above and beyond. Long story short, I had a late night drive up order that was taking a bit long and Sergio let me know they would bring it out as soon as possible but there might be a delay. He checked in on me several times to apologize for the wait and was super kind!! I wasn't bothered by waiting especially because he checked in and I knew I wasn't forgotten about. Gaby brought out the order and was also kind and apologetic. *Fingers crossed* my feedback gets back to their Manager and something nice happens to them. I wish I would've gotten the name of the girl who helped me out today, but I didn't. All I know is she had short, black, curly hair, like a curly pixie cut. I couldn't find the wooden 21 oz Threshold bowls that everyone and their mom are buying, so she helped me search the entire home area for them. Mind you, this is 10 minutes before closing time. Unfortunately, we couldn't find them, but I was able to order 3 from one store and 1 from another on their app. I have to say I loved how friendly she was. She asked me what I was planning on using the bowls for, complimented me on my decision and joked about how aesthetically pleasing the Hearth & Hand area is, yet they can never find anything over there. After we couldn't find it, she apologized to me for Target having a "Limited Supply" on their app for the bowls, when they actually didn't have any. Wow, she was awesome. I ended up buying a bottle of wine before leaving and Cheyenne checked me out. She too was friendly and upbeat. I was checked out efficiently and on my way out by closing time! employees were rude and immature especially the one named Alyssa she goes off on me about us recording her even tho my brother was on Ft and none of us were worried about her she then proceeded to call us childish highschoolers for no reason and was honestly starting problems with us for no reason she then proceeded to talk about us calling us ugly with her co workers and they all agreed just because of old issues we had a few years ago. This is probably the cleanest and most organized Target I've ever been to. I heard this location was renovated not too long ago so that explains it. A few of us decided to roam around Target because we had about 1.5 hours to spare. We explored practically every section of the store from home decor to technology to groceries. The only downside was the restrooms. I don't know what it is about Target restrooms, but it's never as clean as it should be. We didn't have any intention of buying anything, but of course, we left Target with a couple things we "needed". 1.5 hours felt like 30 minutes! Who doesn't love Target? read more

Adrian at self checkout was incredible. Best Target employee I've ever encountered. When we stepped in the queue he smiled and greeted us immediately. Then us gestured to the open checkout and said to let him know if we needed help with anything. We were buying 2 lemons that required employee assistance and before the message even came up that we should wait patiently he was already there in record time to punch in his codes to get us on our way. After he helped us he went to greet and helps others in the same cheerful way. As we were leaving he wished us well again. I was purchasing beer on Fourth of July and when I presented my Military ID I was told they couldn't read it because it's a Mexican ID and refused to even look at it. My wife even told her "just because he is brown you think he is Mexican" and instead of apologizing she changed the topic and asked for my DOB instead of reading it on my military ID. I've been to this location a couple of times (usually when I'm running errands around the area). They have a bunch of parking and it's also pretty easy to get to this location. This store is also huge! I can see myself getting lost and spending some time walking around at this location. It's not a bad store and they've been remodeling and moving things around. I do like how they've started to rearrange things at this location. Their displays seem a bit brighter and easier to see. It's also easier to find the different departments in the store and find what you need. There are really friendly employees that are very helpful. There is always a good amount of cashiers and I've never really had to wait to check out. Their shelves are well stocked and organized. read more

This place is big! They have a grocer in here, and aisles upon aisles of stuff made in China for you. The store is relatively clean, and there were lots of check out stations. However, most of the cash registers weren't manned, and only had a few open. Parking was easy, but it's not easy to get to from 1604 since there's so much traffic in the area. When I went this time, they didn't have what I needed. I did see more empty shelves than I'm used to seeing in a Target. The produce at the grocer area didn't seem the best. This Target has had good sales on clothing lately, like essential t-shirts, but the real reason I go is for the dry goods which are totally lacking. Recently, I left a package of paper towels below my cart and did not pack them in my car. My fault, totally my fault. However, in calling the store I was pretty much told I was out of luck as I left the store with the item. Well, I understand Target's need to protect their cash flow and inventory. I don't know if they're getting inventory from returns online but I met a girl in the jeans area and was asking me if I knew the price of the jeans and I had to say no of course not because there's no prices on anything! every price tag is ripped off. This is an amazing Target, it is clean, well organized and well stocked. However I won't be going again because of the large amounts of teenagers wandering the store in groups. They were often throwing a football back-and-forth and running through the isles with nobody to stop them. Huge Target with grocery- as if everyone didn't already spend entirely too much here! Great for Stone Oak residents, right off the highway. Blanco is always a bit of a challenge to navigate and always seems to be under construction, so this is a location I don't frequent too often. But when I do, all bets are off. Women's clothing section at this specific location is better than others in the city- don't know if they have increased space or someone who actually knows what they're doing in the marketing department, but I can't walk by without being sucked in like a magnet to at least $100 worth of clothes I don't need but would be kicking myself later for not at least trying on. And then eventually talking myself into purchasing. Budgets don't exist here, pretty much. Home décor section is oddly located in the back without much true organization- not all of the living room stuff is grouped together, or bedroom stuff together, so you're wandering several aisles if you need a shower curtain AND towels. I shopped at the Rim Target in San Antonio where I bought a Minecraft card for my sons birthday. Two days later I tried to add it to this account but the card said I needed a code on the receipt. I no longer had the receipt. I went to the closest store and asked for a reprint. They said I need exact date, amount and the cc used I made two purchases as I also hit the restaurant that day. I supplied all this information for both transaction and then they said because there were two they couldn't do it and I had to drive across two to the Rim to get my receipt. This is poor at best customer service. They should have informed me that I needed the receipt and they should be able to reprint from any store. I went in for blueberries, and to get my son a toy and a candy. The blueberries were mostly not ripe, or they had mold already growing, so I passed on getting those. Then I went to check out, the lady even asked me if it was just the toy and the candy. I told her yes and started pulling out my card. I didn't notice until after I swiped that she had scanned the ladies merchandise that was behind me to. So we had to call a manager, so I waited. Then he directed me to customer service. Then he had to call a manager, so I waited again. This manager didn't even look at me, nor did she say anything.
