We always swing by when we're in the area and their stock is never disappointing, not to mention they're constantly getting new things in store. It's definitely worth giving them a follow on their socials so you can see everything that's coming in. The store itself is on the smaller side but is jam packed with merch and never lacking, and the staff is always super nice and conversational. I was really disappointed with my experience at this place during my first visit. I brought in a game to get resurfaced, and the process seemed too quick. They told me it didn't look like it worked, and unfortunately, it didn't work. They then charged me $3, which I paid, but I feel its only right to leave a $3 review. If a service doesn't work, I don't think you should be charging for it. This was my first and last time coming here. Taking care of your customers should be a priority. I might have considered browsing or purchasing something, like I did at the card shop when they kindly gave me directions to Flashback. What were they thinking?! If you want to visit a game store that the customers experience is not priority, then come to Flashback, where you'll probably get charged just for walking in. read more

This place has everything. It has every gaming system and piles of games for each of them. It has pops and cool accessories too. The people that work here might be the nicest and coolest people I've met in all of San Antonio. In addition- this corner of the mall is super cool- lots of geeky stores to visit. I stepped into this place not knowing much and the owner was most awesome from the get go! He often updates his Facebook page to let his followers know what comes in! He often gets Pokemon titles and sells them at very fair prices. He accepts Cashapp which makes the process even better! He even accepts and sell Japanese import titles which is amazing! I was looking around the mall for cool video game stuff, and I walked into this absolute gaming heaven!!!!! There's wii, Wii U, 3ds, switch, GameCube, ds, gameboy, psp, ps2,3, and 4, games, xbox, cool plushies and pop figurines. There are also a lot of cool consoles available. The prices were really good, even for the vintage stuff. The staff were really nice and helpful. I had a great experience and the store seems really friendly and laid back. The store has quite the collection at more than reasonable prices. However, I was a bit upset that I called before driving across town when inquiring about some GameCubes being in stock. I was told they had plenty to choose from and they were in pretty good condition. I arrived to the store and they were disgusting. Looked like they haven't been touched in years or tested. The cubes were not covered in dust but covered in grime. The insides were even worse. I would rate these 4 out of 10 on conditioning alone. Did they work? I honestly can't say. A little bit of effort into cleaning the consoles and prepping them up for showcase would go a long way in my opinion. read more

I have not visited the store yet, but after the excellent customer service on the phone, I definitely will! I called the store recently and after a few rings was greeted with an answering machine. I did not bother to leave a message as my experience is that stores never call you back anyway. Imagine my surprise when I received a call back soon after I hung up! A gentleman named Henry had returned my call based on the caller ID. He assisted me in finding an old Gameboy Color game. Overall, I was impressed with this fantastic customer service. read more

The dude running the place wanted $150 for an N64 that is regularly $50. Come on man, I understand profit, but there is a fine line between pillaging your customers pockets, and making some extra money. Other than the nostalgia this establishment brought me I can't say any positive things about it. This place is so overpriced! They were selling FF7 for $50! Its a place for casual collectors qho don't know how much retro games are worth. Don't even bother trying to sell games, they wanted to give $1 or $2 for games they were selling for $20. I would recommend GameOver or his place and I hate gameover. read more

This game store is great!! Quality games with theirs trust in the game console and games sold. Here is no warranty but what would you expect with old games and second hand systems. The workers are great and it's easily shown their passion for the old style systems. All prices are very reasonable and where they should be. Better than Game Over stores in my opinion. read more
