The man who owns this store always gives you a fare price for the products and is very kind.

I've been going to rc headquarters since I was a kid and now I take my kids there and enjoy seeing…read morethe excitement it brings them. There isn't a more knowledgeable staff at any rc store in san antonio hands down. The selection of rc vehicles covers all types from planes, to boats, to cars, helicopters, drones, off-road trucks to crawlers. Best selection available in my opinion. I've bought atleast 20 vehicles from them and you can't beat the prices. Best value period

Well, we wanted to patron this place, even bought an RC from them. But, they don't update their…read morewebsite calendar, so it's a crap-shoot on the weekends if you can free run or not. Today my son and I wasted 2 hours of drive time from Austin and back because RCHQ didn't take the time to list a huge mini-z event on their website calendar. Event calendars are useless unless they are updated. Lesson, call first or just don't go... we won't be going again. Also, they now cater ONLY to Mini-z racers on the weekend, which means you won't be able to run your mini-b or mini-t RCs like you use to (except on bad off days like Monday and Tuesday which is BS). They also sell rock crawlers and bashers, but no real support or place to practice or run them etc. So you are better off buying online for those types of RCs as you'll get better deals. Also, next to no crawler or basher parts, even for the RCs they sell. We'll just buy our Arrma Kraton parts online and not waste our time at RCHQ. We were there to run our mini-b and buy new tires, LiPo battery, and telemetry sensor for jumps. Now we'll just buy those online. My son was so disappointed when we got there that he didn't want to watch the mini-z competition or buy anything from them. He said 'f-this place!' which was my exact sentiment. Lastly, the bald guy behind the counter disparaged the very same RC we bought from that store. They had no problem selling us the Mini-b... but then diss it when we brought it back in-store. Not the best idea to retain customers or sell upgrades. If I ran my business like this, I'd be out of business. Rolling Oaks Mall is practically a dead-mall at this point, so I'm expecting the niche products, poor offering, bad location, and rudeness (pretentiousness) will end this store soon. We were willing to drive out-of-our-way to spend our money at their store, but now we are not. I'd suspect my overall advice on this is just not to bother. Buy online, make your own track or use a parking lot, and just don't waste your time. No value in their current offering and mode.

Heroes & Fantasies - Comics I've been looking for

There's so much to look through!…read more I've never been to this location since I'm located closer to the other store, but this one has so much packed inside. There's a sea of comic books to peruse along with a gazillion Magic, Pokémon, and other trading cards. I spent at least an hour shuffling through Pokémon cards and didn't even get through their entire collection! My fiancé was a little disappointed to find out that they didn't carry One Piece singles at present but was still able to leave with a Yamato deck. They had a tournament going on in the back room as they were closing up shop, so the staff was awesome and let us look around the store a little longer before ringing us up and giving us a discount on all the Pokemon cards I selected. Seriously. These guys are COOL. It may be a little out of the way for me, but I'll be back to check out all of the comics and the rest of the cards I missed!

Firstly, when a place marks there product so high and isnt willing to match market value thats a no go for me, I dont mind a little mark up but when your paying $5 over value per card it adds up. The store its self is fine, good size and plenty of cards to look at which is nice. Staff wasnt the friendliest and when I asked if they offered a military discount the female cashier seemed annoyed by it and abruptly said no which of course is fine but she didnt need to make me feel wrong for asking. The hunt continues for my new pokemon spot.

Stickers N Stars - Entrance to see Sarah that says it's 5 dollars

I'm giving this place five stars for the great people who work in the store. There are not many…read morehorror stores that are open year round, and it's even nicer that this one is in the area. My fiance and I were on our way home the other day when we saw a thrift store that we decided to check out. We pulled into the parking lot and started looking for parking. As we kept getting further away from the thrift while looking for parking, we noticed that there was a church next to the thrift store. It was Sunday, so that explains why there was not much parking in front of the thrift store. We finally found parking, but when we stopped the car, we noticed a sign for Halloween Shop. We were now closer to this store than the thrift store, and we love horror, so we decided to check out this store. Maybe it was just Sarah, the haunted doll calling us to the shop. There might not be much parking by the thrift store, but there was plenty by this store. The store is decorated with lots of horror items. It also has many horror items for sale, from earrings to Pops to Masks and Blue Rays. One of the most unique attractions to this store is Sarah the Haunted Doll. If you stop in the store, you can visit here for only 5 dollars. They have other experiences that you can buy that include visiting after the store is closed. This experience is either 20 or 25, depending on the time frame you pick. I suggest this place for the unique experience and the friendly staff. My fiance will be back to see Sarah.

The store even has a resident spirit that resides in a doll named Sarah. The staff are very friendly and offer ghost tours in their store for up to 4 people at a time. The decorations in the store are amazing and so well displayed. Parking on Sundays may be slim due to a church being in the shopping area but otherwise plenty of parking.
