Gamefly so far has given me a sour taste in my mouth. I had a game ship on 4/25/22 and it still has not arrived. I've contacted Customer Service and they told me to wait until May 2nd to report a problem. Meanwhile I am paying on a promotional membership at a discount price and don't have any product to account for with my service. Netflix arrives much faster than this with their DVD disks. Not sure what is happening with the postal service but first class mail from California (SoCal) should not take this long. Is someone else playing my game or did it get stolen in the mail? read more

They suck with their shipping times, and their shipping features never work. There have been at least a few times where I gave gone a week or more without a game. read more

Awful, no help, slow. It never used to be like this. Quickly going downhill. It's a shame.

They canceled my account because the post office lost a game. when you called to ask why they're very condescending on the phone.

Super frustrating and inconvenient. How does a company like Gamefly regress so much? I found KCD2 for cheaper here than anywhere, guess you get what you pay for because the game didn't work. They can't/won't send a 1:1 replacement and I have to wait up to 30 days for a refund!? It's not the 2000s anymore, get better. I'd rather have spent the extra $5-$10 to get a game that actually works. Thanks for getting my hopes up and smashing them. read more

I got accused of stealing their product when I reported it they accused me of theft. Reported to the "manager" and didn't even apologize read more

GameFly - Video Game Stores Near Me - Los Angeles, California

I'm 45 minutes from the Long Beach distribution center and it takes 7 days to get disks and for disk to get returned? Bunch of B.S. I checked with the post office and they said it should maybe take 1-3 not 7. I feel that when they say they are "sending" your movies/games, that really it doesn't get mailed out for 3-4 days. Only 1 out of 10 disks are supposedly "quick returned" after it's scanned by the post office. I feel that they purposely limit the amount of disks you get on the unlimited plan, just to save money, or they don't have enough staff to actually pack the discs and send them out when they say they do. Too add insult to injury, they don't tell you this anywhere on their website, but when you have been with them after 6 months, you supposedly can click on the self return option for your disks, and they will immediately send you another disk. They only do self return on 1 of 2 discs. So if you think you can click on self return button on 2 both items in the queue....NEGATIVE GHOST RIDER, THE PATTERN IS FULL. They only allow you do self return on one disk. It's B.S. Their customer service also sucks. 6 months ago, I reported that a disc was sent back but they didn't receive it. They then said that they would remove the disc from the queue so that the next one would get sent out. Day later, not removed. 2 days later still there. Another email to customer service, and they removed the disc and it said something that it's waiting to choose your next disc. Before the next pending disc show up in the queue, it took 2 days because they still didn't put anything in the queue until they got the disc back. So sometimes you are waiting 11 days for then to send you another disks so the round trip ends up being 18-19 days. I have 50 items in my queue and it isn't like there's nothing to choose from and it's setup to send whatever is available. The $5 reward coupons can't be used for rental movies. So if you're not buying any of their overpriced crap or movies, the rewards are WORTHLESS. read more

First time using this company to purchase some games and both cases arrived with no games inside them. The delivery package was completely sealed upon arrival but when opening the package I noticed one case was cut on the side and game was missing. The other case had no wrapping at all and that also was empty. These games were suppose to be brand new so there is no reason the cases should have been placed in delivery package in that condition. After reaching out to them this is the response I received which I felt was plainly put..... sorry but not sorry, we can't do anything but thanks for your money. Dear Will, Thank you for contacting GameFly. We thank you for reaching our regarding your orders. Please be advised, our new games are thoroughly inspected before they are shipped out and unfortunately we cannot provide a refund at this time. We do apologize for any inconvenience and we hope you have a nice day! Latreese L. The GameFly Team read more

Would give them zero stars if I could. I started off getting their two games at a time monthly subscription for 24isj bucks and after weeks of not receiving a title I got irritated and downgraded to just one rental a month. The customer service was real bad and only gave you text book answers. It still takes about two weeks for me to get a title when I returned it at the post office directly now I'm tempted to cancel my subscription it's gotten that bad please go elsewhere. read more

When signing up to game fly you kinda think it's going to be the way Netflix was with DVDs. I remember when you would mail it out and literally the same day Netflix would send the next DVD in your queue. Well that's not how gamefly works at all. They say they have a quick scan on their returns so your next game will go out the same day but when you take it to the post office there is literally nothing for them to scan. And I've checked several locations. I currently live in Philadelphia and my distribution center is 4 hours away, not too far. Maybe a couple days there and a couple days back. But when I send a game back I have to get on the support line 7 full days later to let them know that the game was sent back and I would like my next game to ship. They usually say, oh yea, we're so sorry. We'll get your next game out today. Then I usually get an email a couple hours later that my game has been sent. 5 days later and no game... Then finally one full week after they supposedly sent it out, a game shows up.... 2 week turn around and I'm in the same state. So yea I mean $15 a month isn't bad but you're not going to get what you're expecting, I promise. read more

All I did was change my method of payment by switching cards and it was too complicated for GameFly workers, so they closed my account. I wish I could give less stars. All I wanted was to rent games. Guess that was too much to ask of them read more

Just got off the phone with Juan (a supervisor) and I'm shocked how bad this company is. They would not let me place an order because someone at this address used their service in the past. They blacklisted my entire family. If anyone would like to take legal action, let me know. I have the address for their corporate office to serve the paperwork. read more

It s been ten days still haven't shipped out a game to me .. garbage service save your mkney

Trash! Do not even bother signing up. Games take long to arrive and the customer service experience is lame. Hopefully an online streaming service will come and take this over. read more

Worst Customer service ever.I just hang up the phone with a person called "Jay" . Gamefly is ripping me off. This company will not last long with this customer service for sure . Purchasing a game is really pain. You have to purchase the game with all your credit card info do the check out, and they will send you an email to call them back for confirmation for the game you already purchased it. Did you ever hear this from any shopping platform? Imagine yourself shopping from amazon , ebay or walmart or Target and after they are asking you to call them back stay on the phone and confirm your purchase. Would you like to do that after you buy the game . Also i upgraded my Account 2 , 2 games and they even prorated my account because i upgraded my account on January 21 st and i called them on 25 th i asked them how come i am not receiving the second game even though you guys prorated it and didnt provide any service????He is telling me because your account was on Hold and it just released!!!It was on Hold for your nonsense policy!!!!So i asked them if they will refund also for the days that they didnt even start to provide the service he says no..I ask him ,so would you rather make your customers upset and let them go rather than pro-rating the 5 days that you didnt ship the game??I have been told about gamefly customer service really sucks and even friend warning me about them but i just gave a shot but they were right.I even referred this ripoff people to others as well , i have to warn them too. No Wonder why Amazon growing and companies like these really loosing just because they dony know how to handle customer service.Beware try not to deal with their customer service because other than helping you they will make things lot harder for you.I hope Amazon gets in this game with prime too as well.I just cancelled my service.. read more

You think this is supposed to be netflix of the past where they send a title right away and you receive it in a couple days. The LA distribution site is an hour away from me. It took them 1 week just to ship a title. Then it has been almost a week to receive the title and the customer service is like it may take 7 business days... well if takes literally a month for the first title to arrive I should have just walked to the distribution site to pick it up. I am cancelling this the first chance I get. read more

Waste of money. Gamefly has terrible customer service and sends video games out that do not work when they arrive.
