My Event was at the end of August 2024. Highly recommend this family business…read more Service: Communicative attentiveness, availability was great. The game coaches were excellent and their professionalism, service and cleanliness were top notch. Guests absolutely loved the snow cone machine (8 flavors) and were served by the game truck team. They provided about 8 chairs for exterior gaming. On a hot day, I suggest putting up canopies for the "extras" you may order from them, plus guests (parents) who might want to hang near the truck. GameTruck: The truck/trailer needs at least 3 car lengths of space in front of a residence. Game selection was excellent across all platforms and satisfied 6yo - 14yo players. Cool mood-setting RGB lighting in the interior. Clean and excellent condition physical space and hardware. Mixed feedback from guests about the A/C but my b-day boy said he was perfectly cool. Service Acquisition: Business was conducted 100% over the phone. Told owner that my discovery and background knowledge was via Yelp. As such, service area limitation premiums $$ and travel fees were not referenced nor communicated in the procurement conversation. The business educated me about them after invoice was provided. Please ask for the distances as they differed - at the time - from the website I was told about on payment day (event day).

The order was ready to be picked up on Saturday and I had three days to respond. I show up on Monday and no one knows where my order is the manager Dillon said there was an issue with inventory and my game was sold to someone else. Did have any remorse or care for the inconvenience I honestly don't think he knows how to handle customer issues and just told me to call the 1-800 number which I did for the past 3 days and no one has called me back GAMESTOP Culver Center has horrible customer service don't ever buy anything online to get picked up they won't have the product and will fail to inform you making you waste your time coming to the store for no reason

This is a review of Jesus who was working at this location on the morning of 6/14.26 Dude clearly needed some additional staff but we all know that in the era of late stage capitalism corporate most likely won't give him that. He had a very long line but was working on a trade in. Some in line were getting angry and he was able to keep his calm and acknowledge them and ease the situation. Then there was a woman who was extremely rude and cut the long line and asked him a question en Espanol. Jesus responded en Espanol and again handled it with class. When it was finally our turn he not only was apologetic and kind - HE WAS HONEST. Dude could have played us but instead he helped us make the best decision on a product. Jesus is an absolute asset to GameStop and I hope that corporate recognizes this and rewards him. Thank you Jesus

He immediately said, "This looks like something you'd love," and walked in while we were on FaceTime so I could look around and decide if I wanted anything. When he first walked in, the greeting was warm. They said hello, asked how he was doing, and everything seemed perfectly normal. But within seconds--before he'd even had a chance to browse--an employee, who I believe was the owner, asked, "Is there a reason you're filming?" He explained that he wasn't filming at all; he was simply on FaceTime with me so I could shop with him remotely. She then said they sometimes have influencers come in and that she'd rather give them a proper tour. To be honest, that explanation didn't make sense to us and felt more like an after-the-fact justification than the real reason for the question. No one had asked for a tour, hinted that they wanted one, or even had enough time to look around yet. It's a small boutique that's easy to browse on your own, and we were simply shopping like any other customers. What made the interaction especially disappointing is that my boyfriend is a Black man who walked in, politely greeted everyone, and was doing nothing more than helping me shop over FaceTime. Whether someone is on FaceTime, taking a quick photo, or recording a short video while shopping, they shouldn't immediately be made to feel as though they're doing something wrong. I can't speak to the employee's intent, but I can speak to how the interaction made us feel: unwelcome and unfairly scrutinized. We love discovering and supporting small businesses, and we fully intended to buy something. Instead, we left immediately because the entire atmosphere changed. We genuinely thought we'd stumbled across a hidden gem, but unfortunately we walked away feeling judged rather than welcomed.
