One saving grace was at least they actually did try to find a spare stylus for me, but unfortunately they misplaced it or didn't know where the box of them that they had was laying. After several hours of scouring the net and Amazon I FINALLY found a set that included 2 spare Nintendo 3DS (not XL thank goodness) styli that actually fits into my device.
