My son is all into Minecraft and any other game that I am willing to buy for the Nintendo switch. He's 5, he wants everything and he is not picky. He had a nuclear meltdown because I wouldn't buy the Kirby game he wanted. Rationalizing with an angry 5 year old serves no purpose. He didn't care that Christmas is days away. He's cute and I'm weak. I will probably buy him the game for Christmas. The store has a nice selection, nice enough to drive my son into overload and I was able to take a trip back in time. The store even had the old school Atari game console with the fake wood trim. I don't know what it is called but I know I had one and it was about as advanced as I ever needed. The staff tried to make it all make sense to me. I do appreciate their effort but there is no hope for me . Who knew there were so many gaming consoles. Love coming here with my husband for a trip down nostalgia lane. The associates here are always super chill and helpful. Selection changes all the time but they highlight the top stock in clear display cases. They also have vinyl from the most amazing game soundtracks, local traditional art, stickers and decals as well as plush and accessories from your favorite games. They even have a console museum in the rear of the store that displays all the old gaming systems. Even if you purchase NOTHING it's a fun place to go and explore but you'd be a fool to not get anything. Priced to sell and pretty fair. PRO TIP: Also if you are having issues with a disc game playing, they charge a very small fee to resurface discs! read more

If you are looking for retro video games this is the place to go. They do not have anything newer than ps3 or xbox 360 unless someone has traded it in. They happened to have one Xbox one game. Place is great has Atari, Nintendo, sega, and much much more. Great if you need controllers or cables for systems that you may have been having a hard time finding. The also have a museum in the back of all kinds of old systems. And the trade in value of your stuff goes up if it's in box or even more if it's sealed. Staff is super nice so far. read more

I came here for the first time about 2 months ago with a bunch of old video games I've had for years that I didn't want anymore. I got some decent cash back. The staff was friendly and helpful and they have a ton of old games from every era of gaming. They also have free arcade games in the back! This is honestly one of the best stores if you're looking for retro video game selections. The prices are reasonable when compared to other online sellers. Make sure that you understand the fine print for returns. We bought 2 NES games as Christmas presents and neither one of them worked. The system played our other games just fine. Since we were 2 days outside the return period they refused to let us exchange the games. Not sure if we'll be back to buy anything. read more

First off I would have gladly given this store a 5 star rating; multitudes of various games for all systems dating back to super Nintendo, n64, old school game boys, etc all at a good price. My family has come here multiple times and we've never had an issue until today. Yesterday we purchased an N64 with 3-4 games and 3 controllers. When we brought it home the equipment kept malfunctioning and 2 of the games didn't even work. So we packaged everything back up as it was, receipt included and took it back to the store (within less than 24 hours!) for a refund. HOWEVER, the manager wouldn't refund our purchase or even offer store credit, and then he (the manager) and the girl working the front made a big scene when we stated that we had followed appropriate procedures as far as returns go and couldn't understand why we weren't being given our money back. The store itself is great, but the employees are beyond unprofessional, and evidently it's ok to take people's money and not give refunds. Even though there is a return policy!!!!! We will never be back here and I suggest if ur considering going dont! read more

The selection and vastness of their classic game collection was astounding. They have every vintage console you could be looking for along with any accessory you might need to accompany your choice. They also have display cases in the back with the history of gaming complete with every actual console in chronological order. My husband was like a kid in a candy store and the store brought back great memories of early gaming as a child. The staff was extremely courteous and knowledgable. I purchased a ps2 and the av connections at the Cooper location. Once at home when I tried plugging it in it wouldn't work in any of the tvs. Needless to say I returned to solve the problem. The 2 associated there at the time were extremely helpful and polite. I wish I could remember their names but I can't, my visit was on 12-15-2016 between 1pm to 3 pm if I'm not mistaken. Once the problem was identified they corrected it and had me on my way with no hassles. I noticed this chain of stores carry very reasonable prices on games and consoles. They definitely have my business. If the DM or Store manager reads these reviews please commend those 2 associated for customer service. With only one suggestion. You might want to start testing games and consoles to show customer at the location that they are in working order at the time they purchase them. read more

My family and I went in the store yesterday looking for game stuff. We found a video game priced at 19.99 and a skylander toy @ 9.99. After we checked out or total was 70 something dollars. We asked about it and she said oh someone changed the sticker on it. I have worked retail before and this was just miss marked not torn off something else and reapplied, you can tell when that happens. She then proceeded to scratch the price tag off. I said so I don't get if for the priced marked "NO". So we left with nothing. Called the manager today and got nothing but an argument from him. Very displeased with the customer service will not be doing business or recommend this place to anyone. Look online for what you are looking for I bet you find it. Maybe even at a better price but if nothing more it will be the price it is marked at. read more

I had a horrible experience. The store was in good shape with much variety and great displays of past consoles. However the 2 clerks working were extremely rude and short with me. And worst of all, every single price was well over even the highest of Ebay prices. Really upsetting. Capitalizing on the lack of competition and customers who are not doing the research on game values. That being said, this place sucks. read more
