All Game Stops I've been to have the same lay out. The walls have the games separated by the game systems. The cashier counter is against a wall. There are various displays with discounted games. We came to this location after the one in Arlington directed us here. This location had the used game we needed for the XBOX 360. The store was super busy. The line was long. There was 1 employee. He was managing it pretty well for all the traffic. I'm sure I'll be back if this location has one of the games I need. It's out of the way for me but you never know when it comes to used games. This GameStop reminded me why I almost never come to GameStop. After putting Super Smash Bros on hold, I took an old E4 Motorola phone with me to trade on for some store credit to apply towards my purchase. When I got there, there was one employee working. It was about 12 on a Friday afternoon, and there was several customers in the store and one guy at the counter. After roaming around for 20 minutes waiting for them to finish up their conversation I decided to just get in line which was about 5 people deep now. After waiting another almost 20 minutes it was finally my turn and I explained that I'd buy buying a game I'd put on hold but I'd like to see how much I could get for said the phone I brought in. The employee fiddled with it for about 10 minutes before telling me he (she?) couldn't figure out how to work it and they'd never seen it and we're sure GameStop didn't even buy it. Well I checked on their website at the same time I was reserving my game just to make sure they did, and it was listed on there for about 30$ in-store credit. I told them I'd seen it and that was the only reason I brought it in, and politely offered to try and find the settings they couldn't since yet another line was gathering behind me. I found it in 30 seconds. Another 10 minutes went by and the employee said they couldn't identify the model and without that information it would be impossible to "buy" the phone and handed it back to me and proceeded with other customers. Bewildered I stepped aside and quickly found it and, yet again, got back into a long line. Yet another 15 minutes went by before I heard "ah.. you're back...", but blew it off because I just wanted to get my money, game, and out. I showed the employee the model number and she sheepishly plugged it back into their computer which was operating at a snails pace. Finally after yet another 10 minutes go by, she tells me that it wouldn't let her select the color (the color?!?!?!) and the "buy" would be unable to continue without it and apologized. What the employee didn't know was that you can actually see everything going on the screen and that the true problem was it was too loading too slowly and I'm guessing they got fed up with waiting since at his point yet ANOTHER long line of people equally ready to leave had gathered behind me. I decided it wasn't worth it to make everyone and myself wait another 30 minutes for this imbecile to figure out how to navigate a phone and use their shoddy systems and I asked for the game I'd put on hold. What was given to me was the most pathetic excuse for a pre-owned game I'd ever seen. For a whopping $60 I was given the tiny Nintendo switch cartridge and a pre-owned sticker. That's it. On the website it indicated that the game would include all its original case and art work but I was so fed up and already late and took it and left. Since it was a gift, I had to do some sprucing up but then after sharing my story with several of my friends decided that nobody deserves to be treated this way and subjected to such a pathetic business model and ended up returning the game and buying it NEW for the EXACT SAME PRICE at Walmart! I take full responsibility for not doing my research, but I certainly won't say I deserve the abhorrent and ridiculous treatment this place thinks it can get away with. For the record, people would pay your prices if the service matched. Is it any wonder why Amazon is putting this place to shame? read more

This is by far the best GameStop I have been to the staff is always polite and helpful and always recognize me and my kids and greet us when we come through the door. No they don't always have the game I'm looking for but hey always find it for me. The selection of "dust collectors" is extensive and much better that other stores. Normally I don't have bad experiences with this store. I am considered a regular as I'm there about every other week. I called in to see if a new game was in stock. They said it was and that they would hold my game for the next hour, as the game itself was in high demand. I arrived 25 minutes after the call to find they sold all of their non pre-ordered copies already. I love this location and I know almost everyone at this location, but the person working that night truly disappointed me. read more
