It seems like they try and do more stuff with the community and I do see the store have people in pretty often. Value is fine, they seem to find a price for blasters and stick to it, which is nice considering other shops in the dfw area had very floating pricing recently on wwe cards. Check them out if you like other sports genres. It's a big store with nice lighting and a low pressure experience. I'll be back.

That visit left a good impression, which is why I was excited to come back. Unfortunately, my second visit wasn't nearly as good. I live out of town and was genuinely looking forward to stopping by again, but the experience felt very different. The overall vibe this time felt slightly hostile and not very welcoming. I went through the value boxes again and selected some cards to purchase. At the counter, I dealt with a young lady who seemed to have an attitude. I made an offer on the cards that was actually higher than what I paid during my first visit. She immediately shut it down in a dismissive way and then countered with a price that was significantly higher than what I had paid previously. What frustrated me most was the inconsistency. It may not sound like a big deal, but when you're traveling out of town and expecting similar deals based on a prior visit, that inconsistency is pretty annoying. Feel free to check this place out, but be aware of the environment and pricing, as your experience may vary.

There was no pressure, no gatekeeping, just pure good vibes. I wasn't even into Labubu or blind boxes before this stop and then I left with two Labubus for myself and one for my friend. Since then, I've fallen deep into the blind box universe and now know way more than I ever expected about Baby Three, Hirono, Nanci, Molly, and more. This is thanks largely to Whatnot spirals and this store setting the spark! What's wild is that looking back now, this shop carries so many high-demand blind boxes that are hard to find elsewhere. If you're even blind-box curious, this is the place that will tip you over the edge (in the best way). Friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly curated by someone who actually loves the community. After getting waited on by colton, he would go around and show fraternization towards other individuals, instead of being able to answer the questions that I had. Upon even coming in, it was hard as hell to try to even get anybody even when they weren't looking up. Anything or as they were walking around, making sure other people and pointing around, and then completely avoiding there's other individuals in not even asking the question, even when brought up all the way to the actual glass counter. I had to record it because I was actually in disbelief after seeing the favoritism and fraternization that is shown in the colleagues there amongst their own friends that come in instead of other individuals, collectors or consumers. As this has happened several different times now, I will no longer be going to this location. It sucks that I had to go all the way as recording it, to just even show the proof that this happened, if you want to feel free to look it up. Oh thank you Colton. Or collin dude with the beanie that shows favortizm that works behind the counter.

Had a nice chat with the employee about library and comic shop partnerships and was offered some stuff to give my students. Walked out with a statue I'd been hoping to find again after giving my first one away as a prize. Very nice, knowledgeable staff with a wide variety of games and comics and the prices on the statues were not marked up. It is a little out of my way, but I'll make a point of stopping in whenever I am in that part of DFW again.

The associates here are awesome and can help you find what you're looking for in the plethora of comics, games, and collectible items. They have tables for the community's use to play anything from Magic and D&D to Exploding Kittens and UNO. Daily and weekly events happen here for Magic, HeroClix, Yu-Gi-Oh, game and comic releases too. Sanctuary is its namesake.
