If you are into decorating for the seasons, you need to know about this place. It's almost magical to visit, especially the rooms that have the Department 56 Villages. I did not even know I could be into villages until I saw this place! If you are into brand names in decor, they got a huge selection like Mark Robert's, Michel Design Works, and more. And once again, if you are into the Department 56 Villages, look no farther! The service was really friendly too. It is always fun to shop from people who are as big of fans of holiday decorating as you are! Their enthusiasm was contagious! Toys"R"Us - Standalone Store at Grapevine Mills Mall…read more November 9, 2025 (3/5) Toys"R"Us is back with a new standalone location at Grapevine Mills. It's a fun trip down memory lane, though it doesn't fully capture the magic of the original stores from the 80s and 90s. The store is now franchised rather than corporately owned, which changes the feel a bit. Prices are on the higher side, and while there are some interesting and unique items, there weren't many Toys"R"Us exclusives beyond a Geoffrey the Giraffe pop. Still, the store is clean, organized, and has plenty to explore, whether you're a collector, a parent, or just a kid at heart. A nostalgic stop, but not quite the full experience of the original Toys"R"Us. The guy at the front door was really nice.

Never have I felt so helpless, soulless, joyless, or on the brink of despair as when I am trapped within these walls. They press in on me from every direction, sending me further and further on a downward emotional trajectory. Today I waited for an hour and a half for help at the frame section. Unfortunately, if you have something you need custom framed, this is the place. Luckily, at the end of my wait, I met with Isabel and Charice. They both took great care of me and were very knowledgeable about their products. I detected a small glimmer of hope and something not unlike a smile briefly touched my countenance. Leaving the store, I saw long lines at the registers - people who went there hoping for a good time and who got their arts and crafts supplies while leaving behind some part of their souls. This place, this experience, is abysmal.
