It's a fun trip down memory lane, though it doesn't fully capture the magic of the original stores from the 80s and 90s. The store is now franchised rather than corporately owned, which changes the feel a bit. Prices are on the higher side, and while there are some interesting and unique items, there weren't many Toys"R"Us exclusives beyond a Geoffrey the Giraffe pop. Still, the store is clean, organized, and has plenty to explore, whether you're a collector, a parent, or just a kid at heart. Funny how people want bargains galore but can't give a brand new business 10 minutes to open before going on a tear. It's alright aside from the interesting selection of books and rugs. Go have a look around. The only real complaint is that the checkout process is SLOWWW AS F***. Please tell the cashiers to focus on efficiency. The young man working on the afternoon of 2/16/24 needs to be retrained. He had to call for a manager every ten minutes. That was starting to get on my nerves because I've worked retail before and that's just a pain in the butt. The store wasn't busy either. My friend got a lot of stuff but she and I have decided that we probably won't come back. Most of the merchandise is name brand (if that matters to you). Prices were alright. They're not that cheap (but nothing is anymore).

They have quite the collection tucked into a small space while still having room to browse and find things. They will also buy items from you, just remember they are a business you aren't going to get the same as if you sell it yourself. But that's the point of selling it to them. In terms of stock for things other than comics, they have a selection that I see as mediocre at best at times, though this is likely due to supply and demand, especially now considering everything going on. TERRIBLE SERVICE - Won't Be Back…read more FIRST - I walked in and the person behind the counter just stared at me. No "Hi," no "Hello," no "How can I help you"... NOTHING. I had to introduce myself and explain I was there to inquire about selling some Pokémon cards. He then told me they only buy in bulk. Fine - I actually came in with a huge collection plus a rare Dragonite V Alternate Art 192/203 (Evolving Skies Full Art Alt Art). SECOND - I asked if he wanted to at least look at the rare card. He declined without hesitation, then added that shops "only pay 20%-30% of the value." That is completely FALSE. THIRD - After all of this, I said "okay" and wrapped it up. But was I thanked for coming in? Was I told "have a good day" or even a simple "bye"? Nope. Just another blank stare. This shop clearly does not value its customers or show even the bare minimum of courtesy. Even if they don't want to purchase something, the least they could do is provide basic customer service. Instead, I walked away feeling disrespected and dismissed. Absolutely awful experience.
