Not worth the money. Spent $28 for a Silver wash - they don't bother to truly clean your rims; cleaning inside was rushed dash was still dusty and carpet mat never rinsed or cleaned on passenger side. Air fresheners were just thrown on driver side floor once they were "done". read more

Went to the auto spa today and I paid the platinum car wash and interior cleaning. I was fine with how clean the exterior of the car was but the interior was barely clean and I had paid for that to be clean. The only thing that was cleaned inside were my floor mats but everything else was left exactly how I left it. Not happy with the how the interior was cleaned. read more

I've been coming to This location since I bought my new car. I'm anal about having a white vehicle and keeping it clean. I pay the monthly fee of $79 dollars and can come as often as I would like. This especially helps after a snow storm and in pollen season. Spanish is my secondary language and love the fact that everyone knows me and speaks to me. They take great care of my car as well. They have lollipops for the kids, crayons and coloring books. They also have great seating inside along w juice, coffee and water. The kids can even squirt the cars as they go through the wash. read more

After being members for years and paying for the platinum monthly package I was told by Sam, one of the managers, more than once that their car washes don't include our seats being wiped down at all. (This was said even after seeing the pictures I text him.) This was absolutely not the case in the past. I left today with dog hair STILL on my LEATHER seats, which you could have blown off like blowing out a candle, and still on my floors. It was explained on the phone that their vacuums don't always pick up everything! My console was filthy as well, which was supposed to be included in their services of areas they do clean. There's no way I should be paying for any full cleaning package that doesn't include actually cleaning the outside and inside of my car. After telling Sam that I would be leaving this review, I was told that I could come back and he would personally take care of cleaning my car himself, especially since I was a member. Save your money. Go to YK instead. Paid for the $25 wash (silver). Car comes out still dirty. I mention and show it to the attendant/cashier. They state that I should buy some degreaser and get the "tree dirt" off of the car. Percentage wise, this was covering 30% of my car AFTER going through the silver wash. So I go home knowing that they know they are ripping people off, and proceed to use airplane exterior cleaner from my dad's Cesna. Dirt comes right off without effort. The point is, Gambrills auto spa is just another automated wash. Nothing special. On the other hand, YK always does a superior job. If the same result had occurred there, they would have washed it again or refunded. I am never coming back to Gambrills auto spa. I would not recommend it to anyone. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. I have had two terrible experiences at this auto spa. The woman who directs you into the lane is awful, she doesn't even try to get your vehicle in without hitting your rims. First incident-I went directly to AutoSpa from the car dealership where I had my wheel worked on. My truck went up on the rail and came down hard doing major damage to the rim. The manager, Roy Whitehead tried to tell me that the mechanism that pulls the car in couldn't have done the damage. I asked him to look at the video-he did, saw what happened and still tried to tell me that it was damaged before I came in. I showed him the invoice from the dealership showing that I just gotten that wheel worked on. He said that he would contact me in a few days after he spoke with his manager. We heard back from him and they agreed to cover the repair. We followed up once we got the estimate and never got a response from him. They did not pay for the repair. I should have canceled then. Today I went in and the same lady was directing people into the lane-- the car in front of me went up on the rail, so I was anticipating the worse and of course my car hit the rail. I immediately looked at it once I got around to the dry off area and saw that it was damaged. I asked for the manager on duty, and that was Sam Solares. He was extremely rude and dismissive. He said that the part that pulls the car in couldn't have done the damage and said if you are coming from the member lane, you have to make a wide turn, which I did. He then said that some people just can't drive and don't listen to the direction that is given to get them into the lane. I asked him if he was saying I couldn't drive and he walked away-rude. I immediately went to the cashier and canceled my membership. This place has terrible customer service, and the membership fee is too expensive for the quality that you get. Will never return. Workin' at the car wash yeah... No, I don't really work here but I love coming here. Starting with the incredibly hilarious, cheerful and friendly lady you choose your service with, to the detailed and efficient drive through cleaning bay, to the many guys that then quickly dry the outside and vacuum the inside. The truck is always sparkling a fresh after a stop here. Expect to be here about 20 - 40 minutes. It's the best car wash in the area so it's generally a lot of cars here. They offer an incredible range of services if you require more than a basic wash. There is also free WiFi, and a complimentary refreshment section with coffee, tea, water and juice boxes. The waiting room is equipped with a good amount of seating and 3 flat screen TVs. My nieces love coming with me because of the window area you can watch the cars go through the wash and cool fish tanks. Worth every penny, but besides the Yelp check in deal they currently offer, they put out coupons for members on their website. read more

I think I have a love hate relationship with this car wash. There is a Yelp check-in offer but depending on who's working the cash register will determine how successful you are in using it. They do offer military discounts, monthly packages and specialized detailing services with a shop next door for oil changes. There have been times I've had to point out clearly neglected areas of cleanliness (such as the dashboard) that was half-assed or just not done to get me out the door. No back talk they addressed it but as a business, I personally feel that with each car it should be standard to do a good job and do a once over prior to calling the customer to pick up their vehicle. There is a coffee station to enjoy hot beverages while you wait, free bubbles and lollipops for the kiddies as well as a squirt gun that'll keep them busy as parents wait for their vehicle. The bathroom was well stocked and clean. Customer service is good but could be better. Like I said, it depends on who's cashier that day. The female greeter who does intake is consistently kind and helpful ( I apologize I can't recall her name). Located on Highway 3 next to Wawa's, it can be a challenge getting out of the lot and into traffic sometimes so tread carefully. read more

I recently received a car wash from The Auto Spas and paid $30.00, minus the military discount. I've been to this location twice and both times had an issue. The previous time, my car had mud spots on the front and bug spots after the wash. This most recent time, my car wash not cleaned well again and had bug spots. The manager was drying off my car and I brought attention to it. She rudely snapped back that it's an additional charge to clean the bugs off for $40.00. I also asked her to dry water off nthe gas cap area, she rudely responded that it's more money to dry it off. Horrible customer service and the washes are not the best. Sadly after my last review. Nothing has improved. I strongly advise any one NOT to purchase any of their crappy monthly plans! They really cheat you and do a shitty service. Time after time I had to spot clean my car. My windows would have streak marks, my rims were dirty. My car wouldn't shine. I was told they use recycled water and some odd. method. I reached out to their corporate office and got a scripted Apolo-lie. $59.99 ain't cheap and I expected the same service As if I was paying for the highest single car wash package. When it's busy, they have no idea in managing the lot. Two stars for the young workers. They really work harder than the old cats who are lazy and always look for a short cut. Why do they ask what car wash scent you want if they always forget! You really have to stand over and watch them clean your car! If you turn your back on them they well look for a short cut out of hard work. I'm so done with Auto Spa. Gas stations do a better job. read more

Visited here for the first time yesterday after hearing about it from a friend who goes about once a month. Normally I like to clean my own vehicles but with these temps lately I can't bring myself to do it. The parking lot getting in here is a little windy depending on which side you enter on but the lanes and signage are clear. I was greeted by a nice female attendant that took my payment after choosing a wash plan. I opted to go with the platinum package which consisted of an upgraded exterior wash, hand dry, and quick cleaning of the interior (dash, center console, and a vacuum). It also included choice of air freshener (vanilla, black ice, or cherry), I went with vanilla. Once you pay you drive to the wash bay where you're instructed by an attendant to place the car in neutral and not touch the steering wheel or brake. A piece of tape was applied to the rear wiper on my truck to keep it from flying off. The wash itself was relatively short and included a blow dry at the end. A well lit sign at the end tells you when to take control of the vehicle again and a gentleman directed me to one of the 3 bays available for interior cleaning after a hard left turn. The bay is quite large and well lit, once you enter you leave your keys behind and there is an all glass waiting room with snacks. The waiting area allows you to see both the cars going through the wash and the interior bay areas pretty well. My truck was in the middle lane so I wasn't able to watch the guys cleaning very well but I trusted they knew their jobs. I waited about 15 mins before I was waived over. There is a tip box at the end of the landing as you walk towards your vehicle, I was never asked otherwise. I didn't really give things a hard look when I was leaving but they did pop in the vanilla air freshener which was really nice. Overall I feel like they did a good job on the exterior, wheels were clean and tire shine was applied. The interior was done OK. There were still some areas that needed vacuuming and the windows weren't quite clean in the rear. Minor things but for a wash that cost $35 they're not to be overlooked. All in all I'm satisfied and would return in a pinch, just don't think that I'd opt for the interior routine again. read more

I had given up on this place for poor service but decided to give it another shot. I showed up at 8:45 on Sunday morning and was the second car in line. That's perfect because being in front of the line can save you up to 15 minutes. Go figure, the internet is down and can't process cc payments. All the while the membership people are getting into the wash. So I go from 2nd in line to 15th into the wash. Some of the personnel that does the cleaning of the vehicles as well as the assistant manager and the manager of the Gambrills location are very rude and un perfessional and they are just as bad when it comes to handling the concerns of the clients. The cleanings are never as they should be and they do not accept the fact that we do not want ( Wet ) mats put into our vehicles. That is where my issues began with the personel, and that began on my second visit. Since then, and after speaking with both managers at that location it seems to be that I am a problem instead of the bad attitudes of the workers and poor cleaning services. I usually prefer the all jet spray type of car wash, but this place is decent - with the blue, dangly washers and the spinning washing things... ok. Then you drive into this big garage where the guys come out and polish and/or vacuume the rugs! I like this place and the people here are really nice. Don't forget to tip! read more

The highlight of my Friday evening was getting my car washed. Sad I know but necessary. So the kiddo and I headed down the street to the Gambrills Auto Spa. It really is an auto spa and a heckuva lot of fun for a car wash. Their waiting area has a coffee bar, fish tanks, tvs, a place for the kids to play and even better-water cannons! You can actually shoot water at the cars while they are driving through. So much fun! There are even lollipops, bubbles and crayons at the front desk. When I am feeling lazy again and don't want to wash my car myself (most of the time), I will definitely come back. Water Cannons! read more

I wouldn't mind coming back here at all. I have used several car wash memberships, but haven't subscribed to one in a while. I could easily see this being a fast alternative to sitting on Rt3 in bad traffic. You don't get a manual outside wash, but I don't think it makes sense to use a bunch of guys if a machine can do it in 45 seconds and it looks great. I once paid a kid 25 bucks to do it for me and I had to redo it so it makes sense to pay 35 and get the inside done too. There are lots of fish tanks and a little coffee bar, but it doesn't take long. You jump out of your washed car, (i usually take a second to make sure I didn't lose a wiper), and when the swarm is done attacking you ride off. read more

I went today to get the car washed and detailed. The car wash was closed for maintenance, which is fine. (I would've used both but interior-only is better than nothing.) I asked if the inside could still be detailed and she said yes. She asked what all I wanted done (armor all on the dash, cleaning the console, etc) and I said everything. Idk exactly what was included, but I was quoted 40 dollars. I was surprised at the price but figured they would do some amazing work. However, I read over the pricing while I waited the 10-15 minutes it took them to complete the interior, and nowhere is $40 an available price for just interior... My receipt says $20 interior dressing + $20 exterior dressing. Maybe I don't understand what exterior dressing is, but nothing on the outside of my car was touched. The work they did was good. They vacuumed, wiped everything down, made the plastic shiny, and it now smells nicely of lemon pez. They were pleasant and the waiting area was clean and set up nice. The floors ARE slick, but there a sign warning you. It was not $40 worth of work, though, unless I've missed the mark. They do offer a 10% military discount. Update: it's been three months and they haven't reached out to me to acknowledge or fix this issue at all. I'm no longer in the area to address it in person, either. read more

I have had the platinum membership for 2 months now (top package). $65 a month which is pricey for the service you get. It includes wheel cleaning tire shine and inside treatment. It's very inconsistent. Sometimes I get good attention to details others, not so much. That service does not depend on how busy it is either. Almost always they do a quick half ass swipe on the rims (why am I paying for wheel cleaning package if it doesn't happen?) . As mentioned in another review, the vacuum's are swiped once in the floors and that's that. I always have to go and vacuum my seats to pick up what they leave behind. If you have dogs or kids don't rely on a good clean. Probably will cancel after this month. read more

It's such a shame that the oil change part is so good and yet the auto spa part is horrible. Prices are in line with the area so it's not like it's bad because it's cheap. The exterior car wash is good, because the machines are doing everything. However the interior detailing is horrible. It looks as if they didn't vacuum the interior wipe the dashboard... unfortunately I watched them do it. They just didn't do it well!! And, the little scents left behind do nothing. This is my second time coming here (figured every establishment needs a second chance) and I will not be back to this side!! Recently the service at this spa has gone down. For the past several times I have used their 'Platnium' package, the car has not been thoroughly cleaned. Today I had to clean the steering wheel in my car off. They were not in hood spirits after I mentioned it. The only GREAT constant are the ladies working the booth. I love coming here! When I bring my vehicle here I know it will be CLEAN. Unlike most car washes where you have to go behind them and have them wipe this or that down. I have no major issues with the Auto Spa. I love the fact that the Auto Spa is designed so that you can see pretty much everything that's going on with your vehicle after its been washed due to the large glass windows, of course it's so we can see when the attendants are finished with our vehicles. The best part about the Auto Spa is when I pull up I am greeted by the sweetest woman you will ever meet - Ms. Kathy. No matter what type of whether she stands out there checking in vehicles with the biggest smile on her face. Although brief I love chatting with her. My vehicle is very clear inside and out. I never have to get on the attendants about using clean rags when wiping down my windows and mirrors. I always say that coming her is the next best thing to having your vehicle detailed. read more

Wow, I could've done a better job cleaning my car in 5 minutes. What a waste of money. Paid $35 (which is the highest package offered) to go through an automatic car wash and then a 2 minute clean inside the vehicle. The interior clean was so awful. Didn't do half the stuff the package claims it does. These guys just rush through and it wasn't even a busy day.... I asked for the "clean car scent" that they supposedly spray because I bought that package, but didn't receive that. Doors were supposed to be cleaned and doesn't appear they did that. Only cleaned the 4 windows (I have a sedan) but didn't clean the windshield or rear window. Half ass job and a complete waste of money. If you pay $35 to get your car clean and you have to go home and touch it up, something aint right. And maybe its all the workers joking around talking poorly about the customers in spanish when they go point out areas missed... I Knew I should have stuck with Mister car wash, just wanted to try something closer and convenient to me; never again. Please use my $35 to retrain your employees. read more

I don't know why this place only has 3 stars. I thought the car was was great. They were packed so the kine was a little long but it was just after a snow and salt mix... so that was to be expected... they moved the crowd quickly. I did the ultimate which included an interior cleaning. They did an excellent job. The inside wait area was the nicest that I've seen. Fish tanks and they had built in water guns so the kids can spray the cars from inside. Kinda neat and entertaining. The staff were friendly and professional... and helpful. They have an unlimited wash for 60-75/month depending on the package and I think that is a great deal... esp if you have a car that shows dirt. Only complaint is they forgot to give me a fragrance :( I'll def be back. read more

I figured since I was in the area and there was no line I would get all of the pollen washed off my baby.. I pulled into the line and was greeted by the young lady taking down what type of wash I needed and was waved into the car wash machine.. When I entered the first thing I noticed was how stank nasty the water smelled.. It was so bad that I held my breath for most of the time I was in.. Once I was out my car was promptly hand dried by an attendant and I was waved into my waiting spot in which I waited for 15 or so minutes until I was finally waved into a bay.. I got out of my car and paid (with assistance from my yelp check in coupon) then proceeded to wait another 20 minutes while they "cleaned" the inside of my car.. When I got back in to drive off I noticed that the carpets were pretty clean but they hadn't wiped the center console and it appeared that they just pushed dust around on the dash! I could have done that myself! The only reason they get two stars is because the smelly water at least had my looking clean from the outside.. Took our car here to get the "complete auto detail/ultimate works" to the tune of $202.50. Looked fine immediately after pickup, but the inside smelled like mildew. Took it home and it was in the garage for two days, took it out that second day and it was COVERED in little white spots. Side mirrors, all windows, hood, all exterior pieces. Called and came back that day, talked with Alysia whom is the manager. Pleasant to speak with, but at one point stated "it must have been left outside at some point." I'm not a liar but felt as though I was. She brought out the shop manager to look at it, where they had a conversation in Spanish in front of me.... Surprise, yo hablo eapañol. Long story short, it was run back through the wash to have it "re-done." And to have the seats re-worked. We will see how it goes. I don't appreciate being called a liar, but I do thank Alysia for trying to make it right. read more

Rip off -- didn't clean hardly anything. I purchased the gold package which is the second most expensive and has everything except for the "lava wax" whatever the hell that is. These people are lazy missed a lot of different places inside and outside of my vehicle . They said the truck bed was not included which makes absolutely no sense, but aside from that they missed spots on the steering wheel console, interior doors seats, I can go on.. but I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
