If you look at the reviews for this Gambino's location you'll see that 75% of them are one star and they focus on a problem they experienced with the online ordering system in months or years past. I haven't used their online ordering system, but I've called in orders for carryout and I've eaten in their small but adequate dining room, and I've never had anything close to a problem. The pizza is tasty and cheesy, the calzones are buttery and delicious, the salad bar is very small but it's only $3.50 (as of today) and everything on it is fresh. I don't know what's going on with their creamy Italian dressing but I pour it all over my salad and dip my pizza in it - I can't get enough of it. The facility is always very clean and tidy, my orders have always been ready on time or early, and while this location certainly isn't a destination dinner spot, it's a great place for a quick meal or to pick up a pizza on a Friday or Saturday night. The two-star average (as of today) is blatantly unfair to this location. But then maybe it will keep people away so I won't have to fight the crowd when I eat there. read more

My daughter just called to help me get my money back for a pizza I did not order... I got hung up on twice. They proceeded the third call to transfer me to the manager. Their manager got very sassy with me. I did not appreciate the way they talk to me at all. They need to do better at their job in their customer service. Don't give them your card info or they will steal your money. I got no help just being yelled at. read more

I ordered online and had a little problem with my order so I called. The woman who answered this evening answered the phone promptly, she was very attentive and sweet. Surprisingly one of the most professional people I have encountered on the phone in a while. I loved the pizza, the dough was moist and fluffy. I usually never eat pizza crust, i always give it to the dog... but sadly there will be no crust for our pup tonight haha. Ingredients taste really fresh, the sausage is amazing, the peppercinis even taste fresh! Most places they have a very vinegary flavor, but not here. I was really surprised. My only complaint was that pizza size was smaller than I expected for a large, but with how good it is, I am not bothered. I am used to a little more cheese on breadsticks... this may be an order of just breadsticks and not cheese sticks... not sure, and not concerned... too busy eating this pizza! I see that the rating on here is only 2 stars, but Spring Hill is THE BEST Gambinos in the tri-county area. Seriously! They are always so polite, they never give me a hard time when I call in 30 minutes before they close, they are willing to do special things since we have kids with certain food allergies! We went to pick up a couple large pizzas for quick Saturday dinner. Looked at reviews and was worried but looks like they're about online experience. We were carrying out. Anyway, the front worker greeted us with a smile and offered to help. We had already checked online for pizza options. So we were set for one Mobster and one Capone large pizza. She offered to add a coupon that fit our order and said it would be 10-15 mins. Took about that amount of time and she brought our order to the table we were waiting at. Restaurant looked clean. Although the salad bar/topping area was sketch bcs it was on the other side of the wall unsupervised and that concern me if it was being contaminated by little kiddos who were exploring. Continuous ordering issues online. Local business apparently does not receive any online orders so must call in like we are in a pre eCommerce 20th century world. I have been a customer of Gambinos since we moved here in 1984 (35 years) and I can't just hold this in. Gambino's advertised a Customer Appreciation day with half price pizzas. My wife called in an order at 7pm and was told that it would be two hours before it was ready. My wife commented that they closed at that 9pm when the pizza was supposed to be ready. She asked if they would honor an order placed today for tomorrow and got an EMPHATIC NO! In the background my wife could hear another employee stating that they CLOSE at 9pm! What kind of Customer Appreciation is that??? Two hours for a pizza and it possibly wouldn't even be ready when they closed? Very disappointed! I hope management/Owner will better prepare their staff for a Customer Appreciation Promotion in the FUTURE!!! read more

Have had Gambino's Pizza before, but not at this location. Ordered online and received and email saying our calzone would be ready in 20 minutes. About 10 minutes later, get a phone call saying it will be an additional 40 minutes. I get it...it's a Friday night and you're busy. But, when we showed up 40 minutes later, they told us it should be out in the next 5 minutes. Fifteen minutes later, the cashier goes back to check on our order and he can't find it anywhere. We ordered a pizza from here using the online system, like we had many times before. First, the pizza was a half hour late secondly it was all wrong. The receipt was very clear on what toppings went on which side. We haven't had an issue with this before, however all of the toppings ended up on one side this time. When we called to complain the store clerks were extremely rude stating their online system was different and they couldn't see which toppings should go on which side. I saw many 4 and 5 star ratings on facebook so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the party pan pepperoni and pepperchini for the coupon price of $13.99, ready for pick up in 20 mins. My husband picked it up so I'm not sure how the inside is but it was ready when he got there so 1 star for that! Now if live in spring hill you know that there isn't a lot to choose from when it comes to take out. Pizza Hut and frozen pizza from price chopper are your only other choices within 20 mins of here. I will say that the crust was surprisingly good, it could have used more cheese, but the sauce was gross. I know they are a small chain so the sauce is probably sent to them that way but I would highly suggest corporate change it around a bit. Where I'm from good pizza isn't hard to find so I keep that in mind when critiquing but I'm a sauce girl and if your sauce sucks your pizza does too. read more

I recently moved to Spring Hill and I've always stuck with Pizza Hut. I have never ordered from Gambino's before, especially not this location. But I decided I wanted to try Gambino's out and get a pizza from them that Pizza Hut doesn't offer! I went online and placed my order and my card was charged. I then got a call from a very snooty manager saying that they won't deliver to me. Apparently somebody has used my phone number to order and has a balance with them. As I tried to get more answers and explain that that wasn't me and I already paid, the manager continued to interrupt me and be extremely rude. I now have to wait for the money to be placed back onto my card and apparently can't order from them again. Looks like I'll continue to stick with Pizza Hut from now on. read more

Awesome specialty pizza's. We love the taco pizza and chicken bacon ranch! So yummy.Calzones are huge and delicious! Always great service. They close in the afternoons (1:30- 430) but have served us right after lunch on a few occasions despite them about to close. Hometown service at its best. read more
