We have eaten lunch at Gallery Cafe many times. We bike 17 mile drive and stop here for lunch. It's an awesome location, with beautiful views of the golf course and peek-a-boo ocean views. The outdoor terrace is especially nice on a warm day, like today. I have ordered almost everything on the menu and all of it is good to great. My go to is chicken quesadilla and hubs fave is the Reuben. These are both solid. Service is great here. If you order a soda, they are all about keeping your glass full. Thanks for that! We prefer to come to this restaurant over riding all the way into downtown Carmel, where prices are higher and the food isn't better. If you eat at the restaurant, your admission to 17 mile drive is comped. So there you go! Have a great lunch!
We watched sunrise at Pebble beach today and went to Gallery Cafe for breakfast. We ordered omelet, Skilet, Blueberry shake and latte. Everything was delicious. Our server Ronald was very polite and handled our requests for substitutions. He is amazing. We chose the outside seating arena to watch the golfers play. The view is very beautiful from outside seating area.
Celebrated my friends birthday with a breakfast before we all started our day. The food was yummy as usual; the experience was relaxing and filled with interesting conversations. Service was excellent as usual and Alexis was such warm energy that helped us honor our birthday guy!
No wait and delicious entrees. The service was not timely but once the orders were in the food arrived about 20 minutes later. Very tasty fish tacos stuffed with fresh veggies and avocado, sour cream and pico on the side. The lunch special of tri-tip steak sandwich and fries was a hit with the perfect amount of peppers, onions and cheese. The kids meal was fries and grilled cheese which as received well. The breakfast menu is available all day and the choices were great!
We ate a late breakfast on the outside balcony overlooking the putting green at Pebble Beach. It was a very nice experience and the food was delicious. Aidan was our server and gave us a lot of good recommendations on what to try. He was attentive and professional. Overall the service was excellent. The food was amazing. Two of us ordered the steak and eggs. The skirt steak was cooked perfectly and accompanied well by the potatoes. The sauces were a great finish. Highly recommend this restaurant and it's an extra bonus if you get to sit outside on a nice day.
Our go to stop when doing 17 Mile Drive. Nice place to stop and get a great lunch. Mango Lemonade Tuna Melt with a salad instead of fries Killer Club Sandwich Kids meals are big and can probably be shared ( Not pictured my kids were hungry )
We came here a few weeks ago for lunch on a Monday. The restaurant has the feel of a diner and the menu pretty much matches that description. We were seated right away but we sat there for at least 15 minutes before anyone came to the table and acknowledged us. The server seemed friendly enough, it seemed as if the restaurant was understaffed on this day. We ordered some drinks that came pretty quickly, but after ordering the food it took forever to come to us. I had the salmon caesar salad and it was horrible. The salmon was very overcooked and dry as a bone. Instead of croutons on the salad the were slices of burnt garlic toast around the plate. This was the first time I've ever had a bad Caesar salad. Save yourself $27 and don't order this salad here. My husband had the had classic burger which he said was good. There are nicer restaurant at pebble beach with better food and service for the same price as this place. We will not be coming here again, we can get a better return for our money elsewhere.

It was nice overlooking the putting green and if lucky, hole one. We ordered CLASSIC CAESAR 4/5, FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH 4,5/5, and KILLER KLUB 4.5/5. Get the buttered garlic fries 5/5. Service is attentive. Solid beer and wine choices.
On our 17 mile drive we stopped here for lunch, a beautiful patio view and nice clean restaurant and restroom. Was about 30 minutes to close, service started kind of slowly & after the food was dropped off we weren't checked on again and had to flag someone down to get our check but the kitchen was on point all of our food came out at the same time, hot and correct. It was also really good I got a hot dog with pulled pork and bacon and the wife got the killer klub. The onion rings we super crunchy and the pulled pork was smoky and complimented the hot dog well. Would eat here again.
After a beautiful time slowly taking in 17 Mile Drive, we stopped for a light lunch at the Pebble Beach resort. The Gallery is a nice café with both indoor & outdoor seating. We opted for outdoors. The soup of the day sounded unusual: corned beef vegetable, but boy, was it yummy. We also ordered wine by the glass. They deduct your $11.75 entrance fee for the Drive from the restaurant check.
Made a pitstop at Gallery Cafe while on a coastal California road trip. All went according to plan as we entered 17 mile drive around 9am on Friday and were seated at Gallery Cafe by 9:30am. We decided on Gallery Cafe because of its casual lodge vibe. Also, pro tip: if you are looking to do the 17 mile scenic tour and want to avoid the entry fee (~$11.50), be sure to dine in 17 mile drive and mention that upon entering. We were seated pretty immediately and ordered some breakfast egg items. Food and coffee was good - relatively standard breakfast with well-sized portions. Our server made sure to have my coffee filled to the rim at all times. Overall, I'm glad to have checked off "dining at a restaurant on 17 mile drive" but not sure I'll do it again. It was a nice one time experience.
Great view of the pebble beach fairway. COVID Measures: The Gallery Cafe has instituted several COVID19 Measures including limiting capacity, requiring customers to wear masks, etc. Location: Located right next to the Pebble Beach Golf Course, the Gallery Cafe is located perfectly for viewing the course, especially if you have an outdoor seat. Food/Drinks: On my visit, I ordered a refreshing raspberry lemonade. It was very simple, but surprisingly satisfying. Service: The service was pretty good. Takeaway: Visit for a view of the golf course.

We were happy they still offered egg dishes even though we arrived after the 11am breakfast cutoff. Since we'd been up early and rushed out of the house, my husband ordered an Irish coffee cocktail while I went with the bacon spicy Bloody Mary. He got the breakfast wrap and I ordered the breakfast skillet. The kids went with the hot dog and mac & cheese from the kids' menu. The hot dog came with fries, while the mac & cheese came with fruit. Everything was good and hit the spot after our early morning. And then there was the lemonade. Being the generous parents we are, we ordered one lemonade for the kids to share. When the server brought it out, they had already split it into two cups for us. On our almost 8 hour trek to San Francisco, my BFF planned for us to reserve an inn in Carmel to sleep and rest up before we finish the last leg of our trip. One of the things I was looking forward to on our leisurely drive up the 101 freeway to the Bay Area was the 17-mile drive in the Carmel/Monterey area close to the Pebble Beach PGA golf course. After a restful respite, we started on the 17-mile drive that included 17 stops to take beautiful and breathtaking pictures. We had planned to eat breakfast during this scenic drive and decided to stop at #14 to grub at the Gallery Cafe, which overlooks the start of the Pebble Beach golf course. The Gallery Cafe served one of the best biscuits and gravy, flapjacks, and a cinnamon roll that was to die for. Besides the memorable food, we received excellent customer service from our server Ana. Gallery Cafe is located where the Pebble Beach golf course starts. Specifically, it can be found at Spot #14 of the 17-mile drive. It's just a short walk from the Welcome Center, a short walk up from The Lodge, and it just above where the Pebble Beach golf course shops and restaurants can be found. There is plenty of visitor parking. As you enter the restaurant, you'll be immersed with framed pics of some of golf's greats like Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods. One of the great things about dining here is seeing golfers hit their first drive towards the fairway of one of the best golf courses in the world. It's a spacious restaurant with wooden tables and cushioned seats. There is plenty of covered outdoor seating where you get a closer look of the golf course. There's also bar top seating for adult beverages. Make sure to pay for the 17-mile drive because that fee will be taken off of your bill if you spend more than $35. Our server Ana provided attentive, friendly, and impeccable customer service providing great recommendations. Service was prompt and Ana checked on us at a good pace. When the wifey and I discussed what we wanted to eat for breakfast, I asked that we eat somewhere that served a traditional breakfast. At the Pebble Beach golf course, there are several options to dine at. We initially thought we'd look for a restaurant at The Lodge, but as we were walking, I saw a staff member and asked where a good restaurant was to eat breakfast and he recommended the Gallery Cafe. They serve a variety of coffee, blended drinks, omelets and egg plates, specialties, griddle dishes, traditional breakfast items, and sides and small bites. I selected a biscuit and gravy, stack of 3 pancakes, and my wife and I shared the recommended house-made sticky roll. That biscuit and gravy was one of the best I've ever eaten. The biscuit was fresh, rosemary flavored, and covered with a creamy, hearty, and savory gravy. It was really tasty and I enjoyed every single bite. The pancakes were fresh, sprinkled with powder sugar, and I made sure to coat each flapjack with their whipped butter. They were a good size and I couldn't finish all three pancakes. Make sure to order the house-made sticky roll, which is made fresh daily, comes in a cinnamon swirl, and it's covered with warm cream cheese frosting. It was too beautiful to eat, but we couldn't resist and loved how luscious it was. This sticky roll satisfied our sweet tooth, it was creamy, and the cream cheese frosting was finger licking delicious. If you're visiting Carmel/Monterey, I highly recommend experiencing the 17-mile drive. Part of that drive will involve visiting spot #14, so make sure to stop here to enjoy delectable grub at the Gallery Cafe. read more

Very good cafe spot in Pebble Beach! I got the special steak sandwich with fries and it was so good! The sauce they had in it was creamy and made the sandwich so good! The fries were thin and perfectly crispy! I have nothing bad to say about it! I hope they put this one on the main normal menu! read more

Sunday, 8/16/2020 - Went and tried Gallery Cafe this beautiful and gorgeous day. Upon arrival, we were the only ones at the front desk. The place is beautiful, clean, and staff very friendly. We waited about 10 minutes for a table to be free so that they can push 2 tables together so we can all sit. The pictures hung inside the restaurant was beautiful. Pros: 1) place is clean, women's bathroom clean and well stocked. There's 2 stalls. 2) staff were all friendly and talked to all of us. 3) we were seated within 10 minutes. 4) After being seated, they brought us all a nice cold glass of ice water. Just what we all needed. 5) All of our foods were good. Salad was normal salad. Burger was good. 6) food portion size is pretty large. 7) they refilled our water cups. 8) server split our checks. Very sweet. 9) we had to get boxes to go. 10) everyone we met here, even the patrons, were extremely nice. 11) You have to pay to take the 17 mile scenic drive. But we ate here (over $30) and they deducted the entrance fee off our tab. Cons: I have no negative remarks. Conclusion: I like this place. Be prepare to share a plate or take half to go. Everyone we met here was super nice. I would go here again. read more

Decided to come here because it was one of the few restaurants in the 17-mile drive open early for breakfast. I would say this is like your standard café with a great selection of options. Depending on where you are sitting, you can get a corner view of the golf course. This is a great option to go to on your 17-mile drive. read more

Should have checked in yesterday too. What a breakfast we had. Their daily fresh cinnamon sticky roll with warm cream cheese is to die for, and the eggs and bacon with fresh berries instead of potatoes was perfect. Our basted eggs were also basted with butter. Extra yummy. Our server was Sanjena who we remember from past visits. Nicest gal with the most beautiful smile that you can see it past her mask. She was assisted by Joe, who is helping us today as well. Today Paco is our server and is also excellent. They have the nicest people on staff! This morning we reordered the bacon and eggs with berries but instead of the Cinnamon Roll, waffles and fried chicken. Oh my! Diet starts Tuesday. Lol read more

Ordered a classic tuna melt and blueberry banana smoothie for takeout. The classic tune melt was great and they gave it cut in half so it will be easy for us to share. For the sides option, we ordered fruits. Blueberry smoothie was a cold protein drink with superb flavors. But it was too sweet for my taste. read more

The best cinnamon roll we've ever had. The food is affordable and cafe style. It was nothing spectacular but wasn't bad. I would come here over and over for their homemade cinnamon roll. It comes out soft and hot with its own generous side of cream cheese frosting to drizzle on top. Oh my heaven. The view is also very nice. You get to see the first tee at pebble beach golf club from your table either inside or outside. read more

I got the Caesar chicken wrap, and it was okay. A bit over priced for what it is, but given the location, it does make sense I guess. The seating though was not optimal. We wanted a table near the window for a view, but it was unfortunately also near a door to the balcony, and with servers entering in and out, this generated some chilly breezes throughout our meal. A so-so experience. I wouldn't come here again, and would rather have found another place to dine outside the area. read more

Really enjoyed the fried chicken and waffles here. Although the chicken was a little dry, the cinnamon was a nice touch. Great spot to grab breakfast or a quick bite before teeing off the 1st hole on Pebble Beach! read more

Beautiful and relaxing place in the heart of Pebble Beach. Gorgeous terrace overlooking the golf and The Lodge Hotel. I will recommend this place. Staff is very friendly and nice. Good for families too! Good food! read more

Love coming to this. The views of Pebble Beach are amazing. Had lunch this trip on the balcony with a great view of the first tee. Food as always was delicious and service is alway top notch. read more
