Proceeded to put me on hold to 3. Finish typing out her work on the computer. I know because she didn't actually put me on hold, just threw the phone down and I heard all the typing. Then after 6+ minutes, she picked up the phone and hung it up... So I call back and had to give her all the information I just told her minutes before. " I am calling to reschedule my appt" her: "What is your name?" I give her my name... and then she says " ok, you're all set." Ma'am. We didn't reschedule anything yet. Pay attention to the customer calling on the phone and put your work to the side for a second. This happened every time I called, so then they gave the option of texting the office. Great! But they don't answer the text for days. You have to send multiple texts. Their ortho work is good but that front office staff needs customer service training. It's really bad.

Dr. Harmon was amazing but should seek staff that actually wants to work. When I go to my regular dentist they run my insurance while I was there and had a price list of my services by the end of my appointment. It took over a month just to get the consultation.

You can imagine the surprise. it felt like a bad dream. When I started the process, pictures were taken each visit and was told I was getting 23 trays. I went for my 11 to 15th tray in June,m was supposed to wear each set for 2 weeks, but it took time because sometimes I would forget to put them back right away. No one had told me that if I did not complete treatment within 23 months, I would have to start over. Because each tray gets tighter as you go, I thought all I had to do was to go get my last set the next time I go there, since the treatment was already paid for. When I finally made an appointment and arrived this February, I was told my treatment had expired. This is something no one explained to me and 8k was down the drain. I asked them that, why did no one call nor text me to let me know that my treatment was about to expire? They said it was not their responsibility. They were rude, nonchalant, no empathy and didn't care because they had already been paid. I was so upset and disappointed. They think this is over, but I am willing to take this as far as I can. They are scammers as far as I am concerned and I would advise anyone to save their money and look for another practice. They basically told me that if I wanted to continue, I would have to extend time and pay more. Someone is going to pay quite alright, but it won't be me.

Luckily, no damage was done and my daughters have been patients ever since. They are always kind, professional, and keep a tight knit shift. Doctors are well aware of different scenarios when it comes to youth and their jaw and teeth when growing. Don't have a complaint to say about them at all. Thankfully!!!! Might I add they also give prizes for no cavities and for being good during the appoint! Kids love prizes I definitely recommend this practice and location.

The rule of thumb at the first visit is to never restraint the child. It would traumatize them and instill fear of the dentist for a very long time. Read this: https://children1stdental.com/what-is-papoosing/ I had first taken my child to my dentist but they were not pediatric dentists and I was advised to take the kid to a pediatric dentist because they would know best how to provide care for the child, especially a 4 year old. Why wait this long to start dental service? Covid. I first took him to dentist when he was 2. It was actually not bad, but then COVID hit and no dental appointment was to be made until the offices opened up. So that doesn't help. So I seek for a pediatric dentist and came across to this. On my child's first visit, he was restrained. There wasn't a relationship established first to build trust. Who will have to take care of the kid's fear of dentist? Us, the parents. Not this dentist. I was a little disappointed after reading about restraints should never happen on the first visit. I got an email from Dr. Weng explaining that she wanted to have 30-minute chat with the kid to establish a relationship. So I made an appointment with explaining to my kid the dentist just wanted to chat with him, there wouldn't be procedures done on his mouth. But apparently I was either miscommunicated or misunderstood so he was traumatized twice. After 2 visits, this dentist office recommended that we find someone else. In full disclosure, my kid does have some work needed done on his teeth so he's not exactly an easy patient, but I really think the restraints hurt him the most. Because with my dentist, he was pretty good. I'm not sure if it's the age, at 2 and at 4 or if the restraint made him to blacklist all dentists. 2 stars because they're easy to schedule an appointment and the staff there are friendly. They made us to feel welcomed. The minus of 3 stars because of restraints and referring us to find someone else (when they're pediatric specialists). Off to look for a new pediatric dentist.
