Shannon was polite and very accommodating to make my appointment as soon as possible. On appointment day, two days later, pleasant greeting upon walking into lobby area. sat no longer than 5 minutes before ushered to an examine room. Staff immediately took xrays and prepped me for the doctor. Dr Gaballa came to introduce himself and explain the procedure about to take place (root canal). Did not waste anytime using numbing gel before injecting novacaine in multiple spots surrounding the tooth in question. Obviously Dr Gaballa used extra amount of novacaine because I literally felt nothing within minutes. Staff was present the whole time during the procedure and very evident they were exceptionally skilled assisting the doctor. I was so relaxed during the procedure that I almost fell asleep! The whole operation lasted less than 45 minutes. I have had two root canals performed previously by two different dentists , while the work they each did was satisfactory Dr. Gaballa and his staff has significantly raised the bar for professionalism and customer service.

Moments after completing it, I was called to the back where they took x-rays and then got me settled in a room. Dr. Martin is the primary dentist and he's got decades of experience - practiced in D.C. for about 15 years before he opened his current practice and location 8 years ago. I found him to be professional but also friendly and personable. The office staff are polite and efficient as they explained to me how the appointments are held and what I owed after insurance coverage. All in all, it was a pleasant experience; I was out of there 1 hour and 15 minutes after I walked in, got x-rays and a cleaning - now that's what I'm looking for, fast and professional. One of my pet peeves is having an appointment somewhere, showing up and having to wait extra time before I get in the back, then waiting more time to be seen. I'll be back.

I am in and out within 30 minutes for a cleaning. They are a small office-- so no long waits. There was only one time where I had to wait 15 minutes and the doctor offered a free service. I have had really traumatic experiences with dentists in the past, so the fact that I felt really safe in his hands meant so much to me. I'd also like to shout out his assistant, Savannah. She was warm and friendly. She instantly put me at ease. Even better, she was very swift and gentle throughout the imaging process. Another point worth mentioning, they were transparent about pricing from the beginning. I find many dental offices get a bit cagey when you ask what the cost is, but, if you're paying out of pocket that's obviously helpful to know! I really appreciate that they called and gave me an exact price upfront. Everything was done gently and expertly. Also, the office is really beautiful and I found the waiting room to be very cozy and refined. It provides a bit more for the eye than most other boring run-of-the-mill waiting rooms. Doctor Granger is calm, gentle, has great chairside manners, and truly cares about how you feel while you're getting your treatments done. He checks in to make sure that you're not in pain while he's working on you. He takes time to answer any questions that you might have before and after the procedure. He is realistic, kind, and does not hurry you along. His office is minimalistic and cozy. The receptionists are always friendly and greet you warmly. His assistants are outstanding, gentle and take the time to get to know you on a personal level. If you're someone with dental anxiety, you can rest assured that Granger and his assistants will be conscious of your fears, will assure you that YOU'RE the one in control and can stop if you're uncomfortable, will provide you with sedation if need be, and will make sure that you're not in any pain.
