Yesterday was my first visit to this Black-owned establishment. My previous dentist is retiring early and has pretty much checked out, so we need a new dentist. My appointment was for 11am, I arrived a few minutes early to get through the paperwork. Moments after completing it, I was called to the back where they took x-rays and then got me settled in a room. Dr. Martin is the primary dentist and he's got decades of experience - practiced in D.C. for about 15 years before he opened his current practice and location 8 years ago. I found him to be professional but also friendly and personable. The office staff are polite and efficient as they explained to me how the appointments are held and what I owed after insurance coverage. All in all, it was a pleasant experience; I was out of there 1 hour and 15 minutes after I walked in, got x-rays and a cleaning - now that's what I'm looking for, fast and professional. One of my pet peeves is having an appointment somewhere, showing up and having to wait extra time before I get in the back, then waiting more time to be seen. I'll be back. read more

Dr. Martin is super laid back, professional and took time to clean my teeth personally opposed to having a dental hygienist facilitate the cleaning. He took time to educate me and really show me and explain to me what he observed in my mouth. He has a patient for life out of me! The dentists all want to do X-rays even if not needed (considering X-rays were sent from 4 weeks ago) and insist on performing other services they know the insurance company will cover. They don't seem to be interested in what you need or looking at documentation completed before arriving. Very disappointing and a waste of my time. A patient's time is valuable too. read more

Dr. Martin is a very personable professional and made myself and my daughter feel at ease. When he started his work he explained every part of the procedure (cleaning for me and nitrous and fillings for my daughter). You can tell that he has a passion for his profession and customer service is at the highest level. He was very gentle and my daughter actually came out with a smile (not just from the nitrous). She can't wait to go back to get the rest of work completed. Well since talking directly to Dr.Martin, I was pleased to find out he was unaware of my experience, at all. And, we had a great conversation in which he explained he would have rectified the situation, immediately, had he been aware! The visit with Dr. Martin was great! He is knowledgeable and has a calming manner with his patients. The office is extremely clean and nicely appointed. Covid protocol was followed and state of the art equipment was used during my visit. Dr. Martin explained my x-rays after cleaning my teeth, and we created a plan for care. Please do not patronize a business that responds with information that isn't accurate to what has taken place. It seems like this business has a list of canned responses to which they assert that they made multiple attempts to contact a consumer. This business did not. I reported an issue regarding my children and the only call made was the call from my daughter to me to which I had to request to speak with someone. Is there a process for voting businesses out of the community? Please advise. This business is deceptive in their practices. A business without disclosures listed on their website scheduling tool is a liability waiting to happen. I highly recommend Quality Dental. Went there for the first time today and I felt very comfortable and at ease. He took his time to tell me what was wrong and how to fix it. Found out I didn't need a crown on a tooth that already had a hole in it and was wobbly. My previous dentist actually did a root canal on this wobbly tooth. Go figure! I felt I needed to change dentists because I wasn't receiving the best care I could and needed a second opinion on my dental health. Luckily I found Dr. Martin who is an amazing dentist! During my first visit, I had several questions about my dental health, and Dr. Martin took the time to answer them all without making me feel rushed. I went in for a cleaning and it was absolutely painless, and Dr. Martin was very thorough in my examination. I have to have some future work done and he gave me several options. This dental office is the best of the best! Clean, beautiful, super fancy high tech dental equipment, and great location with plenty of parking. I was able to schedule my appointment 100% online & completed the necessary new patient forms electronically ahead of my appointment. When I arrived on a Friday afternoon, I was the only patient so clearly they do a great job making sure appointments do not overlap. I was seen right away - did not even need to take a seat. Okay, so guys, this office is so beautiful & the examination equipment is so sophisticated & cutting-edge that I started to wonder if my insurance company was going to cover the total bill lol (they did, btw)...Anyways, as for Dr. Martin, he was so kind, personable, and thorough.
