I went for a regular pedicure, and I was the only customer waiting while another customer was getting her nails done. There were 2 nail techs not doing anything while I waited. Finally, after 20 minutes, I was able to get my service started, but with attitude. Not sure what's going on but not coming back. Worst experience ever. My 1st time been here to get a gel manicure. Everyone seems very nice and made me feel comfortable. I couldn't stop stare at my new pampered hand. I greatly appreciated of how the nail tech nipped all my cuticles and willing to change my nail's color when I was unhappy with the 1st choice color I chose. I absolutely love this place! So conveniently located to my moms house. This is our time to bond and get our nails done and chit chat with the girls! They're so nice. I'm not sure why anyone would call them rude. Most professional nice people work here. I've been coming here for years and for $20 I can get my mani and pedi. Clean, spacious and with good lighting. Just walked in and was sat right away. Can have a bit of a wait at times but if there's too many people waiting, go do something else and just come back. There's a great buffet place next door! I don't like getting acrylic nails so I can't comment on that but I have gotten gel manicures and they do last for the 2 weeks as promised. I have been coming here for many years ever since they opened. Its a family business so that's also one of the reasons why I've always liked to support this business. Their decor or ambience may not be as aesthetically pleasing to the eye but the place is clean and tidy. There are other nail/salons out there where their decor is more modern and up to date. But as long as they are sanitizingly clean and do good work, I'm already pleased. They do offer your basic salon needs. But for those who are looking for the foot spas, they don't have it here. Just your basic pedicure which I always get anyway. I prefer to get a thorough cleaning each time I am getting a pedicure. I have recently stopped coming here simply because I have moved on the other side of town. And fortunately, I found somebody else who is as good as this place for manicure and pedicure services. I've been here a few times now and each time I've been satisfied. The first time I came, I waited close to 1. 5 hrs but it was a Friday afternoon and it was very crowded. I've learned not to come during that time. This is a simple nail salon, no spa chair. They do it old school. I loved the manicurist, she cleaned my feet and nails very good. I always have trouble with getting a good pedicure because my toe nail grows wide causing pain if it's not clean and cut right but these ladies do a very good job. My manicure was also great. Their prices are the best I've ever experienced. The ladies are friendly and nice. I always try to strike up a conversation and they are friendly enough to talk. This place is cash only, make sure you bring cash. When I have time and I think they won't be too busy, I make my trip to this place. read more

Have to admit I cheated on my usual nail place with gale nails. After the first time I got hooked! I get a gel manicure and a pedicure for $32! The place is very clean, ladies are very friendly and haven't had any problems at all with them. For a gel manicure if u choose a lighter color they offer to do a 3rd coat free if it's too light! Which is a plus. Also they do get busy all week long and are closed on Tuesdays but from my experience if a place is even busy during the week it's for a reason read more

Helped my step daughter pick out a color because the color she picked was too light to cover her previous white tip. I thought that was very nice. Horrible service! I walk in and she greets me and asks me to choose a nail color, after I did so I sat at the chair in front of the salon. Many workers are coming in and out so I assume someone will be with me shortly. I then wait for an additional 20 min. I ask the worker who is seating in front how much longer she then tells me 45 min.! At this point I'm so upset! She never mentioned how long it would be and even though there are workers they never evened helped me! It's no wonder they have low stars! DO NOT GO HERE PLEASE! It all started 3 years ago when we first discovered this nail salon. My wife and I went to the market by Gale Nails and decided to stop by. We were welcome with a friendly aura. A friendly lady greeted us and told us to have a seat. My wife wanted to get her nails done so we gave this place a try. The wait depends on how busy the store is but, the wait is worth it. My wife usually gets gel nails and they always last long. One time I tried a pedicure to see why my wife always wanted to go here. The pedicure cleaned my nails well and felt nice. But then I realized that I had change in my wallet so she gave me back a $1 bill instead of the $20 bill that I handed her and I didn't realize it until the next day when I looked in my wallet and I was short the $20. I love Gale Nails. The owner is super nice, I always go to her for my acrylic manicures which are only $20. I've had my acrylics last nearly a month with no filling needed. Their prices are cheap and the employees are so nice. They do a good job and typically take their time and will repair any mistakes or do an extra nail coat if you request it. The place is clean and while I've seen other people have to wait for their turn I usually get seated right away. The longest I've ever had to wait was 15 minutes on a Friday morning. read more

I don't understand why some customers put rude workers. The workers and owner were friendly. The lady who did my pedicure was nice and really funny. My pedicure looked nice and she cleaned my toenails well. It didn't hurt when she removed the dirt like it usually does at other places. The place was clean and they have low prices. I was happy with my first trip so I came back after a week or so. This time I went for acrylic nails and I was really pleased. A man did my nails and they looked really nice. He filed down the powder stuff just enough and my nails didn't break during my two weeks. The wait was pretty long about 15-20 minutes but I think that's because they put care into what they're doing. And the review about them taking her mother's phone, I don't believe it. During my second trip I forgot my keys there. I thought they were in my purse but they weren't, and a girl rushed out to give them to me. I really appreciated that. I recommend Tina (I think that's how you spell her name) she sits in the front right and has really cute freckles. Overall, the store gives off a pretty nice vibe and it's good quality.
