I was having trouble with my air conditioning and after hearing from a local HVAC contractor that I should replace my unit (8k, wow!) I reached out to Gagle for a second opinion. The tech, Daniel came out and told me that there was nothing wrong with my AC, and recommended having an electrician take a look. So after a quick service call from an electrician, PROBLEM SOLVED. Woke up to no hot water. Called two other plumbing companies and neither would come out to service for a week. Out of town relatives coming this week to stay. Called Gagle's and explained my predicament. They sent David out the next morning to perform a full system evaluation. He found the gas valve control on the water heater and burner assembly were malfunctioning and needed replacement. He contacted his partner Adam who obtained the replacement parts, brought them and both gentleman worked together and repaired the water heater within an hour. They were knowledgeable, professional and very personable. I can rely on Gagle's to be there when I need them. They will be my go to for plumbing and heating work from now on! read more

Basking in the glow of a wonderful heating/cooling system installed by professional installers. From start to finish, a truly awesome experience. My system was NOT an easy install, but from quote to clean-up was...may I say, "Easy and Painless" for me. The only "glitch" was them forgetting to re-light the pilot on my water heater. A quick phone call and all is right with the world. No harm, no foul. Gagle's has ALWAYS provided the best heating service in the area. I recently moved to a different home and called to have my furnace repaired. Jackson, a technician, analyzed the unit and repaired it. However, he told me that it would, likely, not last long. Since the charge was minimal, I decided to take my chances, but the furnace only lasted a few months. I called to have an estimate for a new furnace. Raymond came out a day later and provided me with a thorough and easy to understand estimate. I also asked 2 other companies for estimates, one company took several days to complete the estimate, the other only sent the estimate after I called 3 times. I don't really know why I called the other two companies, I knew that Gagle would provide the best service. After selecting Gagle's, Ivan and Armondo came out and installed the unit. They did an excellent job. NEXT, Jackson who is a computer expert, as well as a heating technician, came out to see if I had connected my phone to the internet and furnace correctly. I had not, so he showed me the correct way. Mark Gagle, the owner, then came out to evaluate the crews work. I explained that I was more than satisfied with every aspect of all work done, including my first contact with Jordan, including his contact with me. This company has the best customer service of any I know. Every person I dealt with was professional and very highly skilled. Bought thermostat in January 2019. Up sold for a 750 thermostat saying it was the best one ever and would never have any problems. In March thermostat goes out, get a new one with a new warranty, but still had to pay a $90 service fee. Goes out again in January still under warranty and I call them saying I wish for a refund and to purchase a different thermostat. They send a guy right over, replace my thermostat with a Honeywell, which we all know costs hundreds of dollars less than $750. I ask about my refund and am told the office will call me right away that afternoon. Of course they never call so I wait a few extra days and call them. Receptionist tells me I'm not getting any money back and states the manager will call me the next day...of course he doesn't call. I call this theft. You took out a $750 thermostat out of my house and replace it with a $200 thermostat and refuse to reimburse the difference. So glad I found out before replacing my air conditioner heat pump and furnace! Definitely won't be calling them for all my needs! Nothing but thief's! read more

I contacted 4 different companies for bids and advice on replacing an old heat pump 9 months ago. Gagle's gave a competitive bid and was responsive to my additional inquired about different product lines. When I called them back they still honored the old bid (another company had told me they would have to rebid it prices had gone up) and got us on the schedule fairly quickly (2weeks). They showed up on time and were very polite and when they encountered some issues with running the gas line they didn't ask for more money. They had to come back and finish the work since it took longer than expected but they were quick and always responsive to my emails and questions. Great company to do business with. We bought our new furnace and heat pump in 2002 and am very happy with their service. When our A/C stopped working on a very hot day I called at 8am and they had a service tech here by noon. The part was replaced within minutes and our A/C restored for a very reasonable rate. Installed the thermostat right next to a hot water heater then threw a fit when it was requested to be moved in order for the system to work properly. Finally moved it, and didn't repair the wall properly. Customer service is a thing of the past apparently when your property is not right in town. read more

My heating system (Carrier heat pump) was installed in 2011 and when I purchased my home in 2016 Gagle had been contracted for maintenance and servicing by the previous owner for the years since the installation. I unfortunately continued on with Gagle, thinking they were doing a good job, was familiar with the system, etc., etc. My mistake. To shorten a rather long story my heat pump has been over filled with refrigerant/freon (whatever)...like hugely overfilled for such a long period (2 servicings a year for many years) that the compressor had to work overtime and is severely damaged, a major part was destroyed and it is one that "rarely", if ever breaks/needs replacing. Having the system fixed without replacing the compressor or entire heat pump is like putting a bandaid on a greased pig. I have been advised by several different companies that I can spend a lot of money for a short term fix or face reality and need to spend even more for a new HVAC system that won't break down in the next few months/few years. My message to anyone reading this is BEWARE (unless you have a whole lot of disposable income for HVAC replacement). read more

Don't hire this company! Avoid, Avoid, Avoid I hired them to service 2 furnaces at a duplex. They advised that one furnace needed to be replaced (it was not serviced) and the second furnace needed an ignition module for a total of about $2500. I got a second opinion from a reliable local company who advised that the one furnace was fine the second furnace needed a new starter wire; $99. Gagles refused to acknowledge that their service tech utilized very questionable business practices and Gagles would not adjust the service fee of $170.00 ($85 per furnace but they only serviced one furnace). read more

I called to get a very rough estimate on a new heating system for my house and could not even talk to anyone about it. They only come to your house and then give you an estimate. I only needed a ballpark as I had no idea what these things cost. Not to even be ale to talk to anyone was completely unacceptable. I will not call them again! read more

we just moved to the area and needed a new furnace. our real estate agent and neighbor both recommended GAGLE'S, and no wonder. they did excellent work very quickly (totally installed in less than a day!), were quiet, and made no mess in our house. but not only that, everyone associated with this company was very, very nice and pleasant to work with, from the man who came to give us the estimate, who totally won us over in the first place, to the actual installers. then, to top it all off, we had a visit from the owner of the company who just wanted to make sure we were satisfied customers. this is a great company, and we're happy to recommend them. I called Gagle's to replace an igniter on my furnace. The phone staff was OK and the technician showed up within the timeframe they gave me. The issue I have is with the charges. The service call was more than I was quoted and they charged me 145.38 for a part that I can buy all day long for 24.95. Total bill was 248.68. I called and complained and they lowered the service call 30.00. I cannot recommend this company and will not do business with them again. read more

I asked them, in the middle of a cold snap, to assess and fix the heater in a rental house and save the freezing tenants. Two days later they arrived, only to say that they don't fix boilers. Why didn't they ask that question in the first place? Then they charged $119 for the two minute stop. It's not like it was door-to-door time; they told me they would work me in to jobs in the area. I offered to pay them for their exact time, but they threatened me and I decided to just pay them. Note: I also paid $119 to the company that actually fixed it. To those who gave the nice five-star reviews: do you think you were charged a fair price (to a company that charges $119 for five minutes)? They may do nice installs, but I warn those who depend on this company for emergencies.....BEWARE! Go elsewhere. And you might think twice about home installs as well read more
