My children are 10-year patients of Dr. Millar. Since he sold to Dell, there administration is the worst ever. We really like Dr. Millar and nurse Joy, but Dell has given his practice a black eye. The office tells you to forge the doctor's missed signature on a physical. That should be enough to shut down the practice for good. More recently, it took eight phone calls, two trips to their office, missed time from work, and a lot of blame shifting before they got Joy to review paperwork that was not completed correctly. It's still was not done right, causing my son to miss football unnecessarily. I could not be more frustrated. We're actively looking for a doctor that hasn't caved to Dell. Be warned! read more

Beautiful office. Exam rooms and waiting room have hand painted murals done by Dr.Millar. My daughter is always excited to see which room we'll get when we visit. Dr.Millar is caring and very friendly. He's always called me back personally when I need a question answered at home. His office staff has always treated us well, so I was surprised to read the reviews about them being rude. We've never experienced anything like that. I love that there are separate entrances for sick patients and well patients. This makes me feel a lot more comfortable when I bring my kids in for there regular check ups. read more

We switched to park valley from a much larger practice just before my daughter turned a year and we are so happy with the switch! They seem to truly remember us and care about my daughter, she's not just a $$ or a number, it's such a refreshing change!!! My daughter is so comfortable here and everyone is so gentle and kind with her. They always get us in quickly and are great at answering questions. If she needs to be seen they say so but if she can be treated at home they tell us what to do. Her Doctor even called us at home to check on her when she's had more serious illnesses!! I can't say enough good things about Park Valley, we've been here for 2 years and have no plans to change. read more

Anyone who gives this practice anything less than three stars are either getting this practice mixed up with another one or does not know their blank from a blank in the blank! we have two kids and been coming here since day one. One of our children had a couple of issues that were dealt with promptly and correctly. I have had issues in the past with billing, but that was because of our greedy insurance company. Be ready to be ripped off! I went in for an annual well child visit for my early adolescent child which I know is covered by insurance at 100% as preventative care. At the appointment they took height, weight and the regular stuff. While the Dr. was checking I asked for a referral for a very specific issue of concern. She said they will get me in touch with a specialist and call me back. On my way out, they ask me to pay $160. I ask what for and they say its because I asked the Dr. about something outside of the well child visit scope. So, a freaking REFERRAL cost me $160. I shutter to think what would they have charged me had there been a need for any further test or something. Not going there again. Followup: Next day (8/10/16) I called my insurance and they informed me that I do not need a referral to see any Dr. I have not yet received any referral information and called the office to cancel my request for any referral. I requested a refund but they brushed me off and told me to "leave it at that". I highly doubt they will refund me the $$. read more

I visited Dr. Millar office today for a prenatal consultation. I was very impressed with Park Valley Pediatrics. Every step of the process was enjoyable. I received a quick appointment, front office staff was attentive and knowledgeable. The office was well maintained and clean and most of all Dr. Millar seemed to answer all my questions before I even asked them. I appreciate his respect for the parents and his view on a pediatrician's role is spot on. I highly recommend a visit here. It just may be "what the doctor ordered" :) read more

While visiting my parents in Pflugerville we needed to make an after-hours appointment for my 2 year old son. We ended up seeing Dr. Millar and were highly impressed with his care. He was extremely knowledgeable & communicative about his care for our son by answering all our questions thoroughly and went above and beyond by following up with us TWICE after our visit! I absolutely love this practice! I will start off by saying how thoughtful everyone is at this office. From receptionist, nurses, to the doctors. I have never had a problem taking the kids in for a same day sick visit. The office is beautiful with each waiting room hand painted by Dr. Millar. Dr. Millar and Dr. Ali are great doctors. I also love the fact that they take their time to personally collect strep/flu samples from the kids and come back personally to give us the results. Dr. Millar is a great pediatrician. Whenever we bring in our son, he goes into great detail explaining his diagnosis and possible causes. He makes sure we understand the procedures necessary for the proposed cure and is open to answer any of our questions. His staff is always welcoming and courteous. He had his waiting rooms painted in various themes. Some with animals, other with themes on languages. Very cool. read more

We trust Dr. Millar and Dr. Monsour with our children. We've been taking them here ever since they were born. My mother takes my younger brothers here as well. They (the staff as well of course) are reliable, very kind, fast, and sincere about our children's health. We live in Cedar Park and my mother lives in Leander but we make the extra mile to go here. Dr Millar was okay as our children's physician for several years. They got the primary and secondary insurance billing backwards and when the secondary insurance did an audit they rejected the charges and Dr Millar passed that back to me and while it was going through the process of getting corrected they sent it to collections and has hit my credit rating. The real kicker here is that I'm not even the managing caregiver and they thought it was funny to let the retired military dad take the hit. Not cool and probably not legal. Not the kind of behavior I would recommend. read more

I cannot say enough GOOD things about Dr.Millar, his nursing staff, or the front office staff! He was recommended to us not only by the hospital staff at St. David's RR but through our insurance company. Dr.Millar is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. He has helped my son get his reflux under control and deal with colds and other minor issues. He always listens to us and gives wonderful tips and advice. I appreciate that he tries simple solutions versus prescribing a medicine every time! He also does not try to push anything onto us. When I call their office, I always get a call back from the nurse and even sometimes Dr.Millar. They also call to follow up and check on my son! As far as another poster, your insurance company and coverage are not the responsibility of Dr.Millar. Ultimately, you should be on the phone with your insurance company, on their website, etc to understand your coverage and where you can go. You're an advocate for your child. If you want to see a doctor, call your insurance company, call the specialist you want to see, etc. That being said, I've never had issues with my insurance or referrals through Dr. Millar. read more

We've been going to Dr. Millar for 3.5 years now. He is very thorough and friendly. He really cares. We have gotten calls from him, personally, after hours to check on our daughter and/or make other recommendations. He has addressed all my concerns/anxieties re: reason for bringing my daughter. He even has after hours during the school year, which has saved us many times. The offices are very clean. The administration staff are all so friendly and helpful. I miss Dr. Millar and his office. We moved to Houston two years ago and seeing how pedis are here, I never realized how good I had it with my first son. My baby was a patient in 2012 so do your own research to how it is now, but here is what i liked. - nurses that have been around the block and are sweet - someone answers the phone when you call - kid friendly decorated rooms (toddlers would love it) - lolly pops- not just stickers - They have cute little cards with the babies measurements and what to be looking for with milestones (great for scrapbooks) - I filled out a survey with how baby was doing and asked how I was doing too before appointments. I originally thought that was some State of Texas big brother regulation. With my Houston doctor, my well baby check ups are surprising lacking getting feedback from me (not sure if it is because it is my second baby or what) - Dr. Millar called me mama. If you don't like being called mama don't go there, but you should get use to it as you will be called it later. - Dr. Millar was very knowledgeable and tackled situations as they arrived. He and his back up Corpus were excellent and I didn't care who we saw when my son was sick. Now why didn't I put 5 stars you ask? Millar missed a little element from my sons newborn screening but he caught in later appointment and in time for treatment. Also, it was a pain to get the records when we moved but we got them. But really a great doctor and office all in all. As my husband said tonight. You never miss what you had until it's gone. read more

Dr. Millar has been my son's pediatrician since his birth, and my son loves him and his staff! Dr. Millar is very caring, experienced, and patient. When my son was 5-month-old he started day care. He was sick so frequently that we'd to visit Dr. Millar on a bi-weekly basis for a few months. Every time Dr. Millar has been very concerned and carefully examined him, and listened to us for what his symptoms were and what had happened. Dr. Millar didn't prescribed anti-biotic unless absolutely necessary. My son is now three years old. He loves Dr. Millar so much that he'd ask "I'm a good boy today. Now can we visit Dr. Millar?" I'm surprised to see the bad reviews about the staff. We never had negative experience with anyone in Dr. Millar's office. All the staff we encountered are very friendly and nice. My son has had a hard fall on a concrete floor, and his face and nose was badly bruised and injured. We kept telling my son to not touch the wounds but he hardly listened. Then one day, one of the staff came across him on the street, and he called out my son's name and was very concerned and asked him what has happened. The staff asked my son to not scratched his face, and my son remembered and took the staff's advice very seriously. My son obviously listened to Dr. Millar's staff more than us! Although we've recently moved to Bee Cave, and Dr. Millar has recommended another pediatrics in the neighborhood, we would just stick with Dr. Millar. He and his staff are just simply too wonderful to leave! read more

Wow, I cannot believe anyone can dislike Dr. Millar! We've been seeing Dr. Millar since we moved to Round Rock in 2004 and we have always had a great experience. Dr. Millar is very caring and helpful and I have never had a problem getting an appt when one of my kiddos is sick. They are even open on Saturdays which is a huge bonus for me since I am a working Mom. In the event we cannot see Dr. Millar the other doctors in the practice have all been equally helpful and caring. There has never been a long wait or a feeling of being rushed out the door to greet the next patient. Dr. Millar is conveniently located right across the street from Round Rock hospital, and has taken care of my youngest son since he was born. Like someone mentioned, I also love that they have seperate entrances for those that are sick, that gives me great peace of mind when we are just coming in for a check up. I'm giving them 3 stars because everyone here was so nice and it was so easy to make appointments. In fact, when I had my son my pediatrician wasn't available so someone from this office came. I loved her and wanted to switch immediately. However, my son was sick for 8 months. Seriously sick from birth to 8 months with a runny nose and cough and irritability. The doctors told me to give him breathing treatments, etc.....When it still wasn't working after 8 months I decided to get a second opinion. They said to try switching him to soy formula and what do you k ow, within one day he had no more runny nose and was just generally in a better mood. Not sure why it never occurred to them that he had an allergy but I haven't and wont go back. Makes me sad because they really were so nice. read more

Service varies from doctor to doctor, some of them good some of them bad especially Dr. Ali, she wasn't able to provide clear diagnosis. Bad customer service, unprofessional behavior, all they interested in is money not the health of the child. read more

Dr. Millar was an amazing doctor, honestly caring and concerned. We went to meet him, to make sure he would be a good fit for our family, and he was great. His office charged us $20 just to meet him, which I thought was unheard of, and has never happened to us before. The staff was unhelpful, and flat out rude. I figured I would not need to visit with the staff just the doctor, but it turns out it just doesn't work that way. They have no control over paper work, files, or any kind of understanding of what a good attitude is. It is so sad. A good doctor cannot go too far with out a good staff to back him up. I have read other reviews and it seems that Dr. M has lost other patients based on his staff alone. I remember thinking "That's the staff, NOT the doctor." As luck would have it, I was very wrong, and you can't get to the doctor until you get through the staff. The nurses were rude, the front desk uncaring, and these are the people that you must also trust if your child is involved. Poor Dr. Millar was at least four stars alone, but as a whole his office has easily taken him to one star. We have officially left his office due to the lack of effort by his staff to ensure they had all records ahead of time. Before my first child was born I interviewed several pediatricians. I knew right away that Dr Millar was the one we wanted caring for our baby. Now, two kids and six years later, I still give Park Valley Pediatrics my highest recommendation. My kids love Dr Millar, Dr Mansoor and Dr Ali. The nurses and office staff are fabulous and always make the kids feel comfortable. They've all been there for us through flu, strep, stitches and event in between. Great Drs. Great practice. Just moved from California. Found Dr Millar based on Yelp reviews. I couldn't have been more pleased with our experience with our 4 month old's check-up. The staff was nice and responsive and Dr Millar was kind and knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of our questions. The nurse was efficient in administering my daughters vaccines too! The rooms were clean, new, bright, and very colorful. They also have well/sick waiting rooms with a fish tank and wall dividing them. I am very happy with this Dr! read more

Dr. Millar and Dr. Corpuz along with the nurses have all been great!!! Both doctors take the time to examine my daughter from head to toe to ensure that joints and bones are well for her checkups and she is where she needs to be for her age. I really like going there because I feel comfortable in that they are taking measures for my daughter to be healthy. Also when I have taken her in or even called when she is sick, they always return call and see her promptly and treat illness to the T. My daughter seems to get well soon after dr. Prescribes meds so this is very comforting!!! Also staff is always helpful and willing to answer questions. The office manager I believe is an Asian lady, she is soo fabulous and sweet and very friendly!! I can't find any other place where I would trust my biggest treasure!! We have been going to see Dr. Millar for over 8 years now. I found his practice after we moved to the area when my son was 4 and my daughter was 2. Our youngest is 6 and he has been her doctor from birth. We love the staff. They have always been friendly, personable, and most importantly helpful! They know the kids and often ask about the other kids if we are in with only one of them. When one of the kids is sick we have always been able to get an appointment the same day or first thing the next morning. The doctors do not rush through the appointment. They spend as much time as necessary to do a thorough work up and answer all our questions. One thing we like the most is their first answer is not to just prescribe a medication for whatever is going in. For example, when we moved here our son had some sort of abcess on his eyelid. His previous pediatrician wanted to cut it open under local anesthetic. Dr. Millar instructed us on how to care for it using warm compresses and it was gone within 2 weeks. Such a simple solution that was never even suggested by the previous doctor. I can not recommend Dr. Millar and Park Valley Pedatrics enough. They are wonderful! read more

Steer clear of this pediatrician!!!! We had to choose a pediatrician when we had our youngest child. The nurse at the hospital recommended Dr. Millar. Being new to TX we decided to have all four of our kids seen at the same place. Everything was ok at first until my oldest got injured. Dr. Corpuz told us he needed to be seen by an Orthopedist. They told us they would find one to refer us to. About a week later we get a call that the only one they could find was out of network. But that we could still be seen there, but would need approval for every visit. We called to make an appointment and were told that we could not be seen there. So we called Dr. Millars office back and we're told they would call us back. The return call never came. After almost a month of waiting we took our adult sized child to Dell children's they referred us to the sports medicine clinic, unfortunately they did not have any appointments for more than a month. We were told to call our primary care physician to get a knee immobilizer and have them order an MRI. So we did and have now spent hours arguing with Dr. Millars office. Unfortunately he feels the need to talk over his clients. And allows his staff to behave in a completely rude and unprofessional manner. We had to get our insurance involved just to get a referral sent to another Orthopedist. Meanwhile my son is in pain and they refuse to do their jobs. Beyond ridiculous! Save yourself the trouble and find a decent pediatrician for your child. They deserve to be treated with respect and so do the parents! These people are money hungry scumbags! They took an oath to do no harm! My son has absolutely gotten worse waiting for these people to do what they should have done weeks ago. And don't bother trying to complain you will just be called a liar and interrupted the entire time you try to speak. Filing a complaint with the medical board. And getting a lawyer! read more

I love the Dr.'s they are great I have no issues with the Dr.'s. However, I do have an issue with the Office manager she is very rude does not know how to talk to people. The first incident was when I took my son he was around 6 months to the emergency room because he was wheezing with a high fever. First of all I called the after hr line the nurse on the phone was the one that told me to take him so I did. So i took him then they tell you follow up with the your Peds. I call to schedule an appt. The only time they had was for early morning or 11 because at that time they did not want to see any Medicaid patients at the bigger location. So i call to say im running a little late less than 15 min. Here comes a lady on the phone she starts telling me that I shouldn't have taken my son to the hospital because medicaid will not pay for it because i should have gone to them first. I told her that its my sons health im taking him where he needs to go. And hung up at this time I did not even know who she was. Second time my son went in to get his shots and a MA was very unprofessional to where she did not even clean the area of his little leg with a alcohol pad and the way she gave him the shot made him get a bruise i have 2 more children and never in 10 years did anyone treat me like that or my children. So i complained about it. And complained about what they had told me previously because my other kids have mediciad also and never have their dr or office manager say that to me. Come to find out it was her the office manager Mrs. Lisa. I let it go. 2 weeks ago my son had fever (18months) for almost 5 days nasty cough very sick throwing up fussy i call to schedule an appointment around 2 they had one at 3 my job came a little difficult called at 2:30 told them sorry im not going to make it. I get to the babysitter he has been pulling on his ear fussy still with fever so i decide to call just to talk to the nurse to make sure its ok for me to take him to urgent care since they get mad if i take them like that the nurse tells me can you be here at 4pm so I say yes thats fine. I get there at 3:40pm they check me in and wait a bit here comes the manager and tells me outside while im in the lobby. " I just want you to know that we are doing this as a courtesy the last appointment for overbook is 3pm you had one and called 15 min to say you couldn't make it. So just remember i have spoken to you about firing you from my facility. I explained my intention was not to go there at 4, i called and talked to the nurse because you want me to call before i take him to urgent care so i did. She stated yes you did good with that but im still telling this is a courtesy. I just went to sit down. Was called in I spoke to the MA and asked if she was always like that blunt and rude she said yes i asked is she the main office manager she said yes. It all added up of why she is the way she is. She needs manager skill training or a real healthcare management. Very unprofessional, she comes in very rude without knocking on the door and while i was changing my sons diaper she says i am not blunt or rude I will give you 30days to look for another dr because all you have done complained about my staff and you can no longer be seen here you can be seen for this last visit but thats it. I told her i had every right to complain about the way she gave a shot she needed more training. And you should never tell a patient that superior medicaid gets mad for going to ER. That's insane. She left and i sure did leave also to urgent care thank god for them my son had a ear infection again something that she did not care. So now im off to my daughters peds that i love so much. Dr Millar is wonderful, and he recently partnered with Dr Corpuz, equally great. I initially found him because he was close to my home, but I since moved and give quite the drive but it is worth it. I had one negative event, which cost him the one star, in which I felt I was not being heard as a mom, but that since got straightened out. Because of that event I changed doctors, but she didn't survive. After 3 months with the new doctor, I went running back to Dr Millar. I like being heard, my concerns are very valid, even if I'm being paranoid, and the only doctor able to handle that is Dr Millar and staff. He understands the level of quality I want when it comes to my kiddos' health, for me that is no joke. He has worked around many of my demands and I won't go changing again. I have never had any negative comments about his staff, they are very friendly and I have always felt at ease when it comes to the nurses. Dr. Millars office has changed quite a bit. When I first stepped foot into this doctors office it was when my little brother was 2. . he Is now 8.over those years dr.Millar has separated medicaid patients from the other medical insuranced patients. In the medicaid office. Dr.Millar is NEVER there. While over the past year and a half my son was seen by nurses and doctors there that I felt like cared less just because he is on medicaid although, he was seen by a nurse named Jennifer who is perfect and doctor corpus is amazing. My son unfortunetly was sick a lot from "common viruses." As well as ear infections. Before he got his tubes i would hear he had no ear infection one day, bring him in the next day and another doctor said he had an ear infection.this last time I took him for a high fever, cough runny nose etc (although I did give him Tylenol to take his fever away) they said he was fine and lungs sound clear etc. I knew my son was not fine and took him to another doctor where they told me he has a upper respitory infection and that he may be allergic to milk. And That may be why he gets sick so much. I wonder why I never was aware of Any of this at doctor Millars office. . needless to say, I'll never be going back. What a joke. read more

the administrator is utmost unprofessional and treats patients like tag number.money is the only concern not the patient.they can reject to see you with out informing you 24 hrs before or not even two hours before your appointment.is it ethical to reject to see you ,when you are on the way to your appointment?i do understand they may have their policy which they have to abide by. but is it ethical and professional to inform someone ,when he or she is on the way to the appointment that too without bothering to explain other options.this was my newborn's first week check up appointment. read more
