When we moved to our current home, we encountered several challenges with the original kitchen cabinets and drawers, upon which we further appreciated the seemingly small details that Patty put in that makes your everyday life so much easier: deep enough drawers, convenient back row access, and functional ways of managing blind corners. When we finally decided to remodel our current kitchen, without a doubt, I reached out to Patty for help. She spent enormous time going through the details of what we wanted for the kitchen, brainstorming with me, and then proposed several options for us to consider. She proactively came to our construction site multiple times to ensure the measurements are accurate, and she spent quality time with our construction crew to ensure the installation is perfect. As the project moved along, we had several new ideas and alterations in mind that was beyond our original plan, and every time this happened, Patty always patiently adjusted the design for us. It is really apparent that as much as we did, Patty wanted the kitchen to be as perfect as we have dreamed of, as if it were her own. And it did. We couldn't be more happier with the outcome. Our family have been utterly enjoying all the family cooking and gathering in our new kitchen. We owe this a lot to Patty's superb design skills, practical considerations, and ultimately the strong ownership and professionalism. Thank you again Patty and Signature Kitchen Design!

From the very beginning, Patty listened thoughtfully to our vision, needs, and family's rhythm. I leaned on her expertise and trusted her recommendations completely. I'm glad I did. She took my aesthetics and ideas and skillfully incorporated them into a design that felt deeply "us," while elevating everything in ways I couldn't have achieved on my own. We now have more space, a peninsula where our whole family can eat, all without knocking down walls. This wasn't just a kitchen remodel for us; it was a kitchen that evolved with our family, and one we will enjoy for years to come as we move into the late elementary and junior high seasons of raising our kids. Patty and Kurt put their heart in the heart of the home! Patty said that "it takes a village," and that is exactly what this process felt like: a true village effort, thoughtfully coordinated to bring everything together beautifully. Their attention to detail was outstanding from precise measurements to careful planning, thoughtful execution, and consistent, attentive follow-up with us throughout the project. We always felt cared for, never rushed, and deeply supported in our decisions. Patty and Kurt treated us like partners in the process, not just clients, and their communication was clear, warm, and reassuring from start to finish. Our finished kitchen has exceeded our expectations in both beauty and function, and it brings us joy every single day. Friends, family, and neighbors continue to compliment the transformation and the quality of the design. If we ever need renovation advice in the future, Signature Kitchen & Bath will be our first call. We recommend Patty and Kurt without hesitation to anyone looking for experts in cabinet and kitchen design, genuinely care about their clients, and bring caliber and reliability to a renovation.

I met Pam, and on the spot, knew she was the right person to work with. Pam asked all the right questions and listened to what we wanted in our dream home. She completely understood our vision, thought of every little detail, and didn't overlook any aspect of the project that we felt was important. The level of detail and thoroughness when it came to how the spaces were designed really showed Pam and Erwin's level of expertise. Pam and Erwin had our dreams, vision, and best interest in mind. From the initial space planning for the kitchen and master bathroom, the layout of slabs, tile and cabinetry, selection of all the finish materials, colors, fixtures and hardware, they were very professional to work with. Details matter to us, and their attention to detail is apparent in our finished home. They referred excellent vendors and suggested the best, high end and quality finishes and materials. Most importantly, Pam and Erwin's work ethics are unbeatable, and they made sure we got everything we wanted on our checklist. From start to finish, the design process went smoothly, and the meetings and discussions were fun and productive. We gave them the creative freedom and trusted their design process and vision and our kitchen and bathroom remodel designs are masterpieces. We were so pleased with the quality of their work that we asked for Pam's help to furnish our house. Every room was beautifully designed with an understated sense of elegance and in tune with the architecture and surroundings. Pam's sense of style and her vision has positively impacted our quality of life as we enjoy her work every day. We are very grateful that we were able to work with Pam and Erwin. Our house would have not been the same without their creativity and vision.

She insisted on working with her 'team'. Mind you this is a former Google employee who has no formal training in design and fewer interpersonal skills. I've had better service at the USPS than with UD. In her response below she attempts to imply UD turned me down. The reality is she forced the issue of working with her contractor. Duh, who is footing the bill here Pamela? My contractor recommended the architect who recommended UD; and you attempt to commandeer the entire process by forcing the removal of the client's contractor? Recommendation: Avoid. It was stressful and overwhelming, until Henry from California Power & Light stepped in. Henry responded after normal business hours because it was an emergency and immediately assessed the situation. What really stood out was how he took ownership of the entire process. He leveraged his contacts with PG&E and the city, coordinated everything that needed to happen, and moved incredibly fast. Not only did he arrange the response right away, he reworked his company's schedule to get a crew to our house the very next day. From there, he coordinated with PG&E, handled the permitting process, and got the city inspection completed within two days, something that is extremely rare in a situation like this. Beyond the technical expertise and speed, Henry was simply great to deal with. He communicated clearly, stayed calm, and brought a sense of control to what was otherwise a very stressful situation for our family. If you need an electrician who is knowledgeable, responsive, and truly advocates for his customers, Henry and California Power & Light are outstanding. We are incredibly grateful for the professionalism and urgency he brought to resolving a serious electrical emergency.

This independently owned small business has been providing standard and specialty lighting supplies for nearly 25 years. From the outside, the small shop on El Camino Real may look like it caters only to contractors, but it's a terrific resource for the homeowner too. You'll be greeted with a smile by Dave (aka "Gabby") and occasionally by his business partner Rob. The guys are extremely knowledgeable and focused on customer service no matter how small your order might be. I discovered them years ago while searching for a special type of bulb that no one else carried, and I've been shopping there ever since. I highly recommend Bay Lighting Supply for all your lighting needs!

There were no visible markings on this 7" bulb, and I wasn't going to take it into a Home Depot or Lowe's to find a replacement (they'd probably have to special-order it for me). The guy at the counter took one look at it, disappeared into the back and returned with its replacement! I laughed; we laughed - I was relieved not to have to change out the entire fixture! On a side note, one of the great things about this place is that they accept lightbulbs for recycling. I have been coming here for quite a while doing this (the big retailers don't do that anymore), and recently switched out all of my fluorescent bulbs for LED ones in the garage and kitchen. They took all of the old (and new) bulbs cheerfully, even though I exceeded the drop off limit. Thanks guys!
