She insisted on working with her 'team'. Mind you this is a former Google employee who has no formal training in design and fewer interpersonal skills. I've had better service at the USPS than with UD. In her response below she attempts to imply UD turned me down. The reality is she forced the issue of working with her contractor. Duh, who is footing the bill here Pamela? My contractor recommended the architect who recommended UD; and you attempt to commandeer the entire process by forcing the removal of the client's contractor? Recommendation: Avoid. Highly inflexible, domineering owner.

Henry responded after normal business hours because it was an emergency and immediately assessed the situation. What really stood out was how he took ownership of the entire process. He leveraged his contacts with PG&E and the city, coordinated everything that needed to happen, and moved incredibly fast. Not only did he arrange the response right away, he reworked his company's schedule to get a crew to our house the very next day. From there, he coordinated with PG&E, handled the permitting process, and got the city inspection completed within two days, something that is extremely rare in a situation like this. Beyond the technical expertise and speed, Henry was simply great to deal with. He communicated clearly, stayed calm, and brought a sense of control to what was otherwise a very stressful situation for our family.
