Daniel did an outstanding job replacing outdated dimmers with LED-compatible ones, upgrading an ungrounded outlet to a GFCI outlet, installing new under-cabinet lighting, and removing old unused low-voltage lines in the attic left by the previous house owner. Several things we particularly appreciated: - Daniel's assessment was very thorough; he even went up to the attic to check out the wiring situation there. As a result, the quoted cost was extremely close to the final cost (with the delta being the below item). - When we discovered that the new dimmers I'd chosen wouldn't work with a 4-way lighting setup, Daniel investigated the wiring, picked up a new compatible dimmer kit, and installed it the same day, finishing the entire job without needing an additional day or us needing to order additional parts. - Daniel's communication and professionalism were fantastic. I have had Dan install a 220 line to charge my EV. He cleverly ran the line inside my garage and placed it proximal to the garage door so I could charge my vehicle either while in the garage or outside. I had to install an external remote shutoff valve that required a constant power supply. No outlet was proximal to the MOEN device. He was able to create an external outlet by tapping into an existing internal garage outlet. In both cases he was able to problem solve and design the best solutions to my needs. Daniel was quick to respond to our service inquiry for a few varied home electrical issues -- all ultimately wound up being relatively minor but could have turned into more major issues if not addressed. Responsive, prompt, honest, careful, clean, friendly, and reasonably priced. Couldn't ask for anything more. My master bedroom ceiling fan stopped working, so my home warranty company sent out a different electrician to see what was wrong. They spent 10 minutes and said it was a fan issue that wasn't covered by the warranty. As a result, I purchased a new fan and installed it myseIf, only to find out that the new one didn't work either. I called Bingo Electric to have them do the work to figure out whether I had an issue with the circuit or something else was going on. Daniel responded to my inquiry within 15 minutes, scheduled to come out at 9am the next working day, arrived at 8:55am, crawled my ceiling to determine it was a issue with power getting to the ceiling fixture, fixed the issue, finished installing my fan, cleaned after himself, and was gone by 9:35. Other than when he was in my ceiling, we had a pleasant conversation the entire time (he's a USMC veteran with a post-Marines business degree from San Jose State and has a contractors license). He charged me what he quoted (quite reasonable price) and on the way out the door, took a few minutes to explain to me what I needed to do to install a video doorbell and said if I wasn't comfortable at any point in that project to give him a call and he'd come over and take care of it. My smoke detector had been on the fritz for weeks nothing was working, switched out the batteries held down the reset button, accidentally pulled it out from the ceiling in the process...oops. Second job with Dan: Needless to say, this guy is my electrician for life. He worked all day installing an electric heater in our garage. A faulty heater no less! When the faulty heater started smoking and nearly caught fire, Dan didn't lose his cool. Calm, collected and smart. This guy is a gem. I called on a Sunday morning because all of the outlets on one of the circuits in the house stopped working the night before and I knew it wasn't the breaker. I thought the GFCI receptacle might need replacing. Dan got back to me within about an hour and was at the house 30 minutes later. He established that the problem was not the GFCI receptacle but rather that there was a broken wire between the electric panel and the rest of the circuit and quoted me a fair price for the fix. He held to that price even though running a new wire ended up being substantially more challenging than expected. I really appreciated his dedication to getting the job done. The circuit now works as it is supposed to and he's gone above and beyond to provide exceptional service and make sure I am happy with the final product.
