    Chargepoint Flex EV charger
    Varun N.

Mike was very friendly and gave useful suggestions when he initially came to visit for a quote. His quote for installing the EV charger was comparable to another quote I had gotten. I decided to go with Mike knowing that he wasn't trying to upsell anything. He did a great job and came by to do the work on a weekend since I needed the charger installed soon.

Mike and Ben just installed 4 recessed LEDs and 2 central lights for my 3 bedrooms. I have a quite tight timeline, so I actually contacted a bunch of electricians searched from Yelp. Mike is the only one who did a field estimation. My original plan is to install 4 recessed LEDs per bedroom, which would cost more. Mike pointed out due to two bedrooms have small size, central light with correct luminance should work. And it does, also add more design feel comparing to the original all recessed light plan. Actually it's another review mentioning Mike did field investigation first before quote inspired me to contact him. They finished the job four days after I contacted Mike (job itself took 2 days). All the cut down ceiling is kept (I don't have attic), room is clean, no trash. The final price is in a reasonable range. I won't name here, but some OTHER 5 star electrician quoted me outrageously expensive: $325 per recessed LED light! I don't know if they over-priced because I'm a single lady? But come on, I'm not stupid~~I have friends who are home owners, and one can always compare between quotes and do research online, right? So far so good. I like the final performance of the lightenings. Will update with photos when I could capture it properly, and if anything comes up. Right now I definitely would choose Tri-phase again for any potential electrical work.

They managed a seamless 200-amp panel upgrade (including PG&E coordination and permits), ensuring everything was grounded and bonded to modern safety standards. Inside, they wired every room--from the kitchen and bathrooms to three bedrooms--installing dedicated 20-amp circuits, LED recessed lighting, and code-compliant AFCI/GFCI protection. They also installed a 125-amp sub-panel in the garage with fire-rated framing and hardwired our entire smoke/CO detector system. Beyond the technical work, their attention to detail was impressive. They rerouted camera wiring inside the walls to eliminate exposed pipes and handled all the stucco and drywall patching/texturing to match my existing walls. Duke Electrical is professional, uses high-quality materials (Square D), and handles complex, large-scale residential projects with ease. Highly recommended! Duke, Eddie and team were amazing!

Teodor, our project manager, did a great job assessing our home and specifying the system. We wanted to add an additional vent on the main floor, and some dampers for a few of the vents and everything went like butter. Lex and Maxat were the nicest people, arrived on time, left at 6pm each day leaving the house clean. It was a 3 day install and they finished on the third day. Beyond what they needed to do, Lex walked through things that would be checked by the inspectors even on work they didn't do (GFCI plugs close to where the old unit was), and walked me through why they did some of the things they did because I was curious. We're 3 days in so far, but the installation experience was great, and the daikin system is cooling the house great (and I can already see from the energy monitoring systems we have, it's so much more efficient!).

I recently hired Bahram (Altap) to replace our old Challenger main electrical panel and upgrade it to 200A to prepare for a new heat pump system. I brought in four different electricians for bids, and Bahram was the easiest choice. Out of all the estimators, he was the first one who had the expertise to immediately point out a critical code requirement regarding the distance to our gas meter. On top of that, he gave us the best price of the four and never once tried to upsell me. I just felt incredibly comfortable and at ease talking to him. Because the heat pump installation was entirely dependent on the electrical being finished first, the timing was critical. Bahram had the experience to perfectly orchestrate the logistics. He navigated the City of Cupertino inspectors and PG&E, pulling off the city sign-off and the PG&E power reconnect on the exact same day. Over the few weeks this project spanned from estimate to completion, he might be quiet for a few days at a time, but he always came through. He responded exactly when it mattered, did exactly what he promised (including a last-minute breaker install right before the HVAC crew arrived), and delivered flawless work. He even connected us with a fantastic handyman to patch the walls afterward.

I didn't appreciate the urgency (she said I needed it done asap, when I had at least 4 to 5 months). Aside from that, the communication from the project manager was competent & efficient. When Trout took over communication went haywire. During the city permitting process they said in their letter to me that I just needed to be home for (think the window was 8:30 to 9:45am). They said nothing about having to keep opening and closing my garage door access. Well, I refuse to use my PTO from work because they're not sure how long they're going to be, or the start and end times. So around 3 PM at work I got a frantic text from another (different) project manager asking me to open my garage. Well, hello, there is no power, so how can I open the garage? Finally, they got that sorted out and around 5 PM one of their techs asked me to open my garage. I never got a response back from him when I asked to confirm if he was done and I could shut it again (by the way, I was doing this remotely from work since I have an app.) Communication needs to greatly improve in order for me to recommend this business.

Within just a few days they had the old wiring completely rewritten. Elvin brought two crew members with him, and the whole process was organized and efficient. What impressed me most was how careful they were with the house. They tried to minimize drywall cuts as much as possible, which saved a lot of hassle and cleanup later. I reached out to Elvin and he came back quickly to take care of it without any fuss. That level of follow-up and accountability is rare these days.
