We need to replace an old toilet and we need to replace it with a toilet that has the same footprint. I didn't have the model number for the old toilet. A store employee asked me to send photos, and they were able to identify the model number and send me specs -- even though the toilet turned out to be discontinued.

We recently moved to a place that did not have blinds and began using temporary paper blinds. We originally contacted Rebarts Interiors in Los Altos as they had a done a great job with our previous place's Hunter Douglas blinds. We booked their earliest available slot for a design consultation, which was 5 weeks into the future. While waiting, we decided to check out some other Hunter Douglas suppliers. Ego Blinds was the first place we stopped by on a Saturday. Mr. Shin helped us and told us he could do our design consultation that same afternoon. He came over and measured all our windows while my husband and I tried out different color samples and made our selections. I should note that the design consultation was a bit different that our consultation with Rebarts several years prior. The Rebarts consultant gave us lots of suggestions on style, color, etc. and helped us pick the design. Our consultation with Ego Blinds was more self-directed, but this was fine with us as we had a pretty good idea of what we were interested in. Mr. Shin told us the installation would happen in about 3-4 weeks. But he actually far exceeded our expectations by installing the blinds just 2 weeks after the consultation! So we ended up getting all the shades in our house installed before the time for our Rebarts design consultation even happened! (For comparison, several years ago, it took 7 weeks for Rebarts from consultation to installation.) We got blackout Duette top-down bottom-up shades for the bedrooms and roller shades for the common areas. We got our main bedroom shades motorized, and it has been great to be able to schedule the shades to open shortly before our morning alarm (so that we wake up naturally to the sunlight). The Hunter Douglas blinds are excellent quality, and we are very thankful for how quickly Ego Blinds allowed us to ditch our temporary paper blinds. Thank you!

Anthony was very friendly and punctual. The team that he works with were also friendly and on-time. I was concerned about dust, but was so impressed with how clean they kept everything from start to finish. Anthony has an excellent eye for design, and was very helpful with suggestions for spacing and placement. He was also sure to take care of all the details, including removing existing speakers and lights that would no longer fit and properly patching up holes. They did exceptional work, and we are so happy with the finished product. We look forward to working with him again for our lighting.

But the machine didn't match the color right this time. Went back for refund, got yelled at. After showing pic to the owner, told the owner the color turned out blue it's not even close, I can't use it. It's more bluer in person. He told me" we don't go by pic." So he took back the aura and testing on a piece of paper. And said "your house lighting is wrong. My paint has no problem." When I tried to get the piece of paper and go outside to match the chip he wouldn't let me. And yelled at me" you know nothing about paint." he slammed the gallon paint on the counter and yelled again" I'm not taking it back". So unbelievable. Be aware of this place. No customer service at all. Horrible service. Totally waste of money and time. Never go back again. Of course nothing can match perfectly. But it' should be close to gray beige color, not baby blue. Maybe your machine needs to be calibrated? Why I had to be yelled at when your machine is not working right? You are not even trying to help fixing the problem or refund me for your malfunction machine. BE NICE cost nothing.

I went to a neighborhood Sherwin Williams and was really disappointed when they told me I couldn't get sample paint (?) - but then really pushed for getting gallon base coat and gallon paint. I knew I wanted to swatch the colors first on the walls and they said a sample isn't needed you can just hold up the paper swatch to the wall?? I then went to Home Depot but again was met with paint selection that didn't really match the color I was seeking. When I came here, I knew what kind of color I wanted and was helped out - right away in discerning the best type of paint for the job. You don't get the level of expertise from other places, and for me I wanted some finite info on the paint before starting my DIY project. The people here know the trends in paint, the undertones and explained how paint breakdowns work. -- You get 10% off your first purchase which is a nice perk, I will be back for future paint needs. I'm really happy with the color and even got some recommendations on a comparable swatch. In the end I purchased 5 gallons of paint, finished my whole house and I'm super pleased with the recommended eggshell mid tier paint. They matched the color from SW with ease and I was happier than going back to SW with their cold shoulder service.
