Always great service and the store post renovation is killer! They also always have some pretty high end guns on the wall!

This place is the best. Service is awesome.... Go here first. These guys will take care of you

My brother, nephew, and I had an outstanding first experience at GA Firing Line. As novice shooters, Charles and E.J. made us feel welcome, comfortable, and safe from start to finish. The classroom instruction on gun safety was excellent, and having Charles with us throughout our range time made all the difference. He answered every question with patience and professionalism. We highly recommend GA Firing Line for both new and experienced shooters. read more

I was really hesitant to leave this review because my experience has been so hit or miss. Some days the place is legit awesome others you go in there and feel invisible. I went for training because I have a new rifle and don't want to be irresponsible. The training in the classroom was good but once we hit the range it was super lacking. On top of that the instructor didn't check anyone's head gear, or anything like that to make sure they could shoot safely. My ears are STILL ringing two weeks after my class so I'm pretty sure it's permanent. Which is just GREAT. Further, once we were on the range the instructor didn't help me at all. There were only 3 people in the class. He just told me to shoot rounds and that's it. If I wanted to pay for a power point slide presentation and range time then I would have looked up a YouTube video and then gone to shoot by myself. I paid a lot of money for a class to end up with hearing damage and not feeling ANY better about using the weapon I purchased. read more

Great guys, they know their stuff when it comes to firearms. Gunsmiths are extremely helpful. You can test before you buy. Made a real difference when buying my new Sig. read more

Just a 2026 update, they still slap, the renovation was a banger and the staff kicks ass.

What AMAZING service!!! JT the gunsmith here is HANDS DOWN the best gunsmith I have ever came across. I had an issue with my bolt carrier group in my AR pistol so I came to GA Firing line to have their team look at it. I was thinking I'd have to drop it off and have it back in a week or two. JT asked what the issue was, took a look at it and fixed it right there on the spot (5 to 10 min tops). Talk about EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I told JT that because of his sence of urgency and great customer service no one else will ever touch my gun. That's GA Firing Line!! read more

Been using this place going on 20 years. Seen owners change. The biggest factor in keeping me as a customer is the neighborhood connection. I can't walk in without someone saying "Hello". I'm on a cane and if I make a purchase, Rick, Or EJ will always look after me. The gunsmith area is at another level. Solid leadership passes down to the team. It's pure local gun store/range vibes. Not a bar or golf course selling guns. The staff are predominantly former military and law enforcement. As well as former NFL. The prices on good top tier second hand firearms is absolutely competitive. Using this store as a transfer point (per ATF) is also a pleasant experience. The employees are all well versed on current ATF regulations. Bottom line, no better choice in the Marietta Ga area. read more

I went in on a Monday to fire at the range. The range was down for a maintenance problem, so I just waited until it was fixed. A Black gentleman (I did not get his name) was very helpful-he did not charge me for range time when the problem was finally fixed. He did a good job keeping me informed about progress of the repairs. I spoke with the smith about some work on a long gun, he was also very helpful and professional. There was another guy there I spoke with and he was a real asshat. Guess he was having a bad day. read more

Dalton greeted me as soon as I walked through the door. He also helped me find the magazines I saw online and made sure that all my questions were answered. The armor was straightforward and very helpful as well. Good atmosphere here and good people. I am always loyal to customer service and I will, without a doubt, be coming back here with my business. read more

The only gun store in GA that can provide real professional help. The staff is really knowledgeable and passionate about what they do which makes a huge difference when buying and upgrading your firearm. The NFA people will guide you step by step until you get your regulated items approved! 10/10 would recommend to any gun enthusiast trying to get more out of his handgun or rifle read more

We had several guns ceracoated and trigger jobs done. They did awesome jobs. Brian Clark is a master at his craft.

I came from ca to visit my cousins. While my stay here I wanted to go shooting, we decided to go here since it was the closest and had decent prices. Coming here for my first time shooting, I would highly recommend anyone to come and try their first experience here! Dalton suggested a good gun for first time shooting so recoil wouldn't be too bad and I wouldn't get injured. Dalton was a great and patient teacher, going through the steps of safety, reloading the gun, hand placement and etc. so patiently. He gave reassurance on aim and how to hold the gun, he had a great personality teaching! I would recommend him to anyone learning for the first time. I would definitely come here again, and recommend this to friends. Even though there were more experienced shooters everyone there had great and supportive attitude. read more

Good selection of items but good luck getting anyone to help you out. Too much standing around and talking amongst themselves versus customer service. I stood at the counter for almost 30 minutes trying to get help with a suppressor. One guy was on the phone the whole time. Another guy walked off to go get in on a conversation with the other group of employees near the register. Figured someone would have at least acknowledged me and offered to help. Nothing. Just lost a sale and my future business. read more

Each staff member we have encountered at GA Firing Line has been pleasant and helpful. Lindsey is fantastic. She is available to help with anything at all. Anytime we've needed to reserve a lane she gets it done. She is super helpful with gun or ammo questions. Peter and EJ taught our Pistol 101 class. Both were very knowledgeable and the instruction was excellent. The classroom setting was informative and productive. The firing range instruction was outstanding. Each of them took as much individual time with us and helped us identify the smallest details that helped improve our accuracy and safety. HIGHLY recommended this range AND the classes. We will quickly sign up for our next one !!! Thanks guys !!! read more

I called the Firing Line to have a pistol transferred to another dealer in TX. I inquired about the cost, I was told $50. Then I drove 40 minutes through traffic to get to their store. As we start the paperwork...the bald guy behind the counter said it was $100. Total BS! Complete bait and switch or If your employee's can't inform people what your prices are correctly then "train them!" I called another gun dealer immediately from their store " Cherokee Gun and Pawn in Canton, GA" and they completed the whole process for $45. (That included shipping and insurance on the pistol.) Great service too! I will never go back to the Firing Line after this issue, I would tell anyone who needs to know stay away from these crooks. read more

The employees are some of the smartest dudes in the industry. I say dudes because I've never seen a woman working there. They are so down to earth they are really respectful and they have a great selection of inventory as well as services. I have bought many firearms from them and also worked with the Gunsmith on a number of occasions. Its just a great experience all around and everyone knows their stuff. I like to shoot here the most out of everywhere else. I just wish i could shoot my shotgun here. read more

Very well designed gun shop and range. Recent transaction went smoothly. Robert was a great sales rep. Great value and customer service to first responders. Will happily buy again from them. read more

Great date idea. Affordable lanes. Will be coming back more frequently. Fast check in into a lane and was not crowded.

I really should have gotten their names. The guys in the gunsmith shop were awsome. I built an AR but couldnt get the muzzle compensator on. I was able to walk in, drop the weapon off and go get lunch while they fixed it. The price was reasonable and they definitely know what they are doing. It's a long drive for me, but i'll definitely return for any of my future gun needs. read more

Free range time on your birthday?! Count me in! I LOVE that they have this deal. Even if it's not your birthday, their range prices are among the best I've seen in the metro. The range was clean. The controls for the target were simple. The staff was friendly. It's out of the way for me, but it's worth the drive. I'll be driving back again and again when I need to get some live ammo down range. read more

I love the people who work at GA Firing Line, and I used to really like their prices. But recently it's turned into Ed's Gun & Tackle 2.0. Each time I go in there I see crazier and crazier prices. $400 used Ruger LCP's, and $900 AR-15s that used to be $600..it used to be that you got a good deal on a gun, and $25 of range time. Now you get a bad deal on a gun and no range time. This is worse than when it was Ed's... then the ammo prices are bonkers. Exact same box of ammo at Cabellas, $29, at GA Firing line, $55. I realize it's a busy time and demand is sky high, but these prices are insane. It seems like the whole industry is enjoying the fact most new gun owners have no idea that a box of 9mm range ammo should be $11 and not $20. And then when I hear customers say something, employees say "well people pay it." Well, people are gonna remember. It could be worse, AO is selling hand sanitizer for $40 lol... read more

Staff is knowledgeable as well as fans of the products they offer. I'm a long time sport shooter. Have never shot at anything other than a paper target (beyond tin cans or old 78 rpm albums). I like to see different indoor ranges and observe the clients. Some are expert with text book technique and others, not so much. read more

Recently went to my second range in years. I found this place on yelp and I decided to go. My first impression was ..... hmmm i see..... because from the outside, the shop didn't seem like a shop. I was worried it was something else or they were closed due to COVID-19. Luckily they were opened and when you walk in the shop was full of customers. I can tell you this, the inside of the shop was total opposite as compared to outside the shop. Employees were nice and greeted us at the door. We signed up to use the range. Due to COVID-19 they didn't rental any guns out nor other equipment's. Luckily I had my own and only purchased ammo and ear and eye protector. To use the range it was about $12 which is a great price compared to others which is about $15-$18. Ear and eye protectors were about $1 each and the targets were $1.50 and up. The range was nice and clean. Some of the back glass were a little cracked but overall the range was neat. The shop had variety of handguns and rifles. The employees are very helpful and wanting to help. I will go again and maybe possibly thinking about getting a membership. read more

First time and on a Saturday where it was super crowded, but utilized the range, temp was good, service was friendly, prices for ammo were good. Will be back!!! read more

Great selection of handguns and the guys there love to help. If you're tired of non talkative, don't-really-wanna-be-here gun stores, take a look at this place. Thanks for helping me find an FN Reflex! read more

This was my 2nd stop of the day after going to adventure outdoors and leaving because of all the hoops they want you to jump through just to use the range. Came here and was a night and day difference. Staff was very helpful, no video to watch and was on the range within 10 minutes. Glad to of found my new go to indoor range. read more

I have a membership with them. I'm always greeted with a high level of individuality. I had wanted a sig rattler for a while. I got for cheaper than anywhere in town or online. It's a beauty to shoot. I also purchased suppressor which the educated me on how to run it on my 9mm carbine as well. Gunsmith did upgrades to my Beretta 92. Next I'll have them cerakote the rattler. read more

Yelp always has honest reviews. Long time member, but it didn't matter. I just needed a small screwdriver to set my red dot that I forgot, and that's not their fault. Thought I had the proper flat head, but I didn't. I just asked to borrow one, and they all said go ask him... I hate places that treat you like they're doing you a favor by letting you step into their establishment. It wasn't always bad, but I would avoid this place like the plague! read more

Run of the mill gun shop. Nothing fancy nor exceptional. The employees are hit or miss, with some being awesome to speak with and others being the " I know, you don't, "bullshitters". I often like to ask a general questions, that I already know to get a feel for the overall employees tact. Let's just say it's about 70/30 here but that's average too. Anyways, the rifle range needs better exhaust definitely. read more

Friendly helpful people, reasonable prices, and plenty of space. They have lots of guns to rent and you can switch and try many models.

Ed's or Nick's as it's now called is a descent place to go browse, shoot or kill some time on a rainy Sunday afternoon. The range isn't that great, but it's large enough to accommodate bigger groups of people. The staff is pretty douchey, but thats typical of most gun shops you go into. Everyone is there seems to have the "billy bad ass" mentality. The prices are a bit high, but they do have a nice selection of weapons. They also have a good bit of demo guns you can shoot on the range if you feel like trying out something new. The rounds are pretty high, but they sell GA Arms ammo for range use. They do have 2 high powered lanes and thats nice since my 5/7 cannot be shot on a standard lane. Overall it's a descent place to go shoot, or kill time, but the prices will keep me from buying any guns anytime soon. read more

Firearms are not my primary interest or hobby in my life, which is why I'm coming to experts for assistance with their expertise. But what I get here is a young kid with a snobbish attitude too cool to bother with listening to what I am asking for, much less offering options as solutions. Instead I get dismissed with "we don't carry that. Anything else?". Not sure what he had more important to do, there wasn't anyone waiting behind me. read more

Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from the outside. However when you walk in you see that they have a huge selection firearms. I took my rifle here to be cerakoted. John helped pick the colors and he did a killer job on the rifle. Will definitely continue to come here! read more

We visited here on Easter morning! We were happy to find a range open because of the holiday! The store was clean, well-organized, staff was attentive. We had to rent all the equipment (eyes, ears, guns) and everything was well maintained. We were able to switch out the guns three times just had to purchase the corresponding ammo. I really appreciated that one of the attendants was so observant of all the individuals using the lanes. It really made me feel like this was a safe environment and someone had our back to keep it that way! read more

I like this range. I have only visited a few of them here in Cobb/Cherokee county but this one is my favorite so far. They were surprisingly busy but managed to move everyone through at a good pace and the other patrons seemed pleased as well. They also had a very large inventory of IN STOCK items. Which seems to be rare these days. The prices were reasonable and there were plenty of employees ready and willing to answer questions and show the items. I highly recommend Them for your shooting and purchasing needs. Two thumbs up Ga. Firing Line. read more

Top notch gun range and store. Staff are all friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable and service far exceeds the other stores I looked at (cough eh hm cabela's and adventure outdoors). They sell Black Riffle Coffee too - YES!!!! Range has the usual mix of new to shooting and seasoned shooters but always felt safe around the other shooters. Buy the membership if you shoot more than once a month it will quickly pay itself back. Current price as of 12/28/19 is $12 an hour for a lane and membership is only $25 a month unlimited shooting. They have in house work and do not send your gun outside for work which I appreciate. read more

Staff is as knowledgeable and friendly as anywhere. Always eager to talk firearms and generally knows their stuff. Always find myself shooting the breeze with these guys once I finish on the range. I really enjoy that. Store is lacking and getting worse. Very few accessories and the layout is getting worse. Inventory (accessories) always seems low and uninteresting. They do have cases of ammo stacked up apparently for sale but no pricing to be found. I'm not about to lug 1000 rounds of 223 ammo to the counter only to find it's not a good price. How 'bout some pricing stickers, guys? Firearms are almost always in stock (except for the very popular models that seem to fly off the shelves). Prices are not exceptional and you can find better firearm prices elsewhere. Range is showing it's age. Probably needs a remodel again but I'm sure it gets a lot of use since this place is in a great location for the area. I have found myself driving to another range a bit further away because I can shoot rifle's and pistols on the same lane unlike GFL. But on the plus side, GFL has amended their range prices to be more competitive with the places in Woodstock. read more
