The owners (Robbie and Luther Lecroy) are seriously stand-up guys, they may not always have exactly what I am looking for but they always seem to find it! I choose to shop at AG because the Lecroy's are in the firearms business because they love it and live it, they pay the same attention to the folks with extensive firearm experience and the consumer that is just showing an interest in acquiring their first weapon. The shop owners truly believe in the second amendment and want to make certain that anyone that has a desire to own their own weapon and protect themselves has the opportunity to do so without being taken advantage of. After doing so a couple days later, I realized the gun had some cycling issues, so I brought it back to Luther, who said he'd send it to his gunsmith. I called/ stopped by trying to get an update on the progress of my gun at least twice a week for well over a month and a half. Always getting the same answer, "I'm waiting on Randy to call me back". So finally, I asked for Randy's info to see if I'd have better luck. When i contacted Randy, he knew nothing about my gun, but Said "Luther would give me Call". I waited for that call for the rest of the day. The very next day, I decided to stop by since I still hadn't recieved a call from Luther. At the store the next day, there was one customer being helped when I walked in. So I patiently waited for a good amount of time. While waiting, several other customers came in and were shown guns and given convo; meanwhile he's still too busy to talk to me. Only after interrupting him from doing the paperwork, (even though he didn't mind stopping that to show guns to the other customers) did he go to the back, bring my gun out, telling me that Randy had over looked it this entire time! And he just so happened to go by and pick it up yesterday, and instead of having Randy fix it. He just brought it back to the shop not repaired. Im nowhere near slow, he just never sent my gun off to be fixed, he just lied to me for 6/7 weeks about doing so.

Secondly, I have shot at this range four times in my life and every time I have brought steel case ammunition, not steel core, steel case, and I'm well aware you're not allowed to bring steel core ammunition. So come to my surprise when I go there to shoot my guns with my little cousin that they say I can't use any of my steel case ammunition because it might cause a fire in the augers. Whatever that means. I had called them beforehand because I wanted to ask about using my personal ammo for a rental shotgun and they said of course I can and when I got there, they basically forced me to buy their own ammo because I'm not allowed to apparently do what they said I could over the phone. And then here's the best part, inside the range there's no range safety officer (RSO). Yep, they're all still in the lobby area sitting around talking chitchatting and laughing, drinking coffee and having donuts while everyone regardless of their skill with a firearm just shoots away. And wouldn't you happen to know that there was guys shooting their AR with a bump stock basically looking like they were shooting a fully automatic firearm and nobody said nothing. I don't even think they even saw it while I was there. Heck I could've just shot all my case ammunition and they wouldn't have cared. It's honestly a mix of bad customer service, ridiculous policy changes, and the amounts of them not caring about anything going on there that really makes this place a terrible range. I'll never be coming back to any of these Governers locations. They're all the same.

I have previously owned various Glock models, including the Glock 19, 19x, 20, and 23. My current gun is the Glock 19x 4" service model, which I enjoy using for target practice and learning. There have been no issues with the Glock handguns I have owned in the past or present. They are easy to disassemble, clean, and reassemble.

I've been looking for an affordable, used, laptop for the purposes of writing. I went to Buck Creek…read morePawn, as I've shopped from them before for Guns and ammo, and saw that they had a single laptop left. The owner, or at least the person working the counter, must not have much knowledge of computers. That, or he is practicing extremely shady business practices and is overcharging with knowledge. The laptop was old, at least five years in age, and operated on Windows 7 (A now obsolete operating system. Windows no longer supports updates for the OS.) and I found that the charger was broken. It was meant to be a three pronged inlet, however the middle prong was missing and sent out a spark when plugged into the outlet. I turned the laptop on to test the machine and found it extremely slow and unresponsive. I brought up "Task Manager" and found that it took nearly three minutes for the diagnostic tool to actually respond. From there, I looked through the various functions and found few programs that should be interfering with the speed of the CPU. This tells me that the hardware, rather than the software, is the cause for the slow response speeds. With a desktop, that type of fix is easy and relatively inexpensive. A laptop is a bit more difficult to fix. Again, this is fine. They buy used P.C.'s and it did turn on and operate, if slow. However, the owner stated he would not sell the P.C. for less than 125.00 dollars. He stated that he had sold every laptop in the store for the same price and did not seem to understand the difference in hardware, software, and worth. A similar P.C., Brand new, can be bought at Walmart for 150.00 with a Windows 10 operating system, box, and charger. A used P.C., of similar specs, can be bought for 50 dollars online. The fact that he had bought this P.C. for less then 25.00 dollars shows a desire to make over 200% profit with absolutely no desire to negotiate because he believes that the current pandemic will allow him to sale the P.C. for whatever he says. This is the literal definition of Price Gauging. I would also be careful in buying weapons from this pawn shop. I bought a Glock 19 in 2017 from this company and recieved a call from them about a month later asking that I return the weapon. It had been stolen from a retired Georgia State Patrol officer. They did give me another, lower quality, weapon as a trade. I'm not certain they didn't rip me off, even after giving me a bit of cash to make-up for the price, after seeing how they handled the sell of an obsolete computer. Be wary of buying from them and do your research before you pay. There are other pawnshops in the area, remind them of that, and let the free market do its thing.

I wanted a long distance range that WASN'T going to up charge me for silly stuff. I wanted a range that was a little more rugged and didn't attempt to appeal to the "gentlemen's club" atmosphere but more to us regular "blue collar Joe's." THATS these guys. They're helpful and nice but not overbearing. Of course, safety IS a huge concern with them but I didn't feel like they were hovering.. I appreciated that. He has yelled at me and my family on both visits. I have been shooting for 8 years and have trained many people, and none of his yelling was related to gun safety or us breaking any rules. He simply seemed to yell at people for no reason and was consistently rude. Because of the way we were treated, we will never be coming back to this place. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly and professional environment.
