Glock is the iphone of pistols. Just like an iphone, the Glock is the most popular pistol out there. Manufactures make all types of accessories, holsters and parts for these guns. Glock makes fine pistols that are very reasonably priced. They are simple to operate, reliable and accurate. There is no external safety on a Glock pistol. Sure there are internal safeties and a trigger safety, but your finger is the real safety. If your finger isn't on the trigger, the gun is on safe, if it is on the trigger, the safety is off. I have a long history with Glock. My second pistol ever was a Glock 17 9mm. I loved that pistol and still think it is one of their best models. These days I am more into 1911 style pistols, but the Glock 27 subcompact .40 is still one of my favorites. This pistol holds 9 rounds of. 40 and is small, light and easy to carry. If you're looking for a reasonably priced pistol for self defense, check out Glock.

Customer service at its finest! Bought a pair of Glocks recently and brought them over to the factory for night sights ($57), extended slide releases, and a refresh on some older mags. Living in Metro Atlanta, access to factory armorers is insanely awesome, but you can also ship your Glocks to the factory for the same work and pricing. Like everyone else, was greeted at the guard tower where they have you park, register your weapons, and provide you a visitor badge. From there you head to the far corner where a gracious tech is waiting to greet you and your glockstuff. You fill out a quick form and off they go. Takes 30-45 minutes and they return with your weapons dressed up, test fired, and cleaned. They will always replace any used internal components with new and even replace your mags if they are a couple generations old... for free! This is the kind of customer service my Dad talked about. Several of my friends and colleagues have also brought their guns here with great success. Considering picking up some used Glocks and having them rebuilt at the factory. Doesnt get any better!

Very impressed. It is just like I'd heard. Everyone was extremely friendly, beginning at security at the gate. Then the armorer was literally waiting for me at the door!!! Where else is THAT gonna happen??? I came to get night sights put on a G19, and just to check it out. They checked the gun while I was there. None of what has become the normal "just do what is asked" at Glock!!! I was hoping for some trinkets, and didn't get any like I'd heard others talk about. That is until the security guard at the exit asked me if I'd been given anything. He hooked me up! I would have LOVED a cap, but happy with what I got. it is the thought that counts! If you have a Glock and are anywhere close it is worth the trip. Nothing fancy, and you are there for a purpose, but it is nice to see now passionate all of the folks are about Glock! Based on my experience I'd have NO issue buying a used Glock - they would fix it right up!

Helping most LEOs and military keep freedom for decades. Just had a great experience with them recently. Sent in my 21 slide with night sites that were dim and they sent it back in less than five business days brand-new night sights on the warranty plus they worked on the spring and some other internals on the upper slide. Couldn't have possibly had better service I only wish I could've gone there in person dropped it off and then went and got some great barbecue down the block. Keep it up ladies and gentlemen we are lifelong fans and we trust our families to your products.

Fast and awesome service, I will buy another GLOCK just for the service I got when I got my pistol serviced.

Automated tracking where you punch in a number vs those places where you flip a switch and have to eyeball the distance. Recommend a month to month membership as there's really no deal because the annual is monthly times 12 and are you really coming that often? What could make my experience better: 1) the rental selection for pistols is pretty small. Mostly semi autos. Would be great if there were more revolvers, different 1911's 2) a deal for one year membership instead of just monthly x12, skip fee 3) better pricing on firearms. gun pricing is at a premium here. Would not recommend purchasing a firearm here unless it's in the sale cabinet. 4) promote good etiquette. Signs reminding ppl to clean up after themselves, sweep spent casings, and wash your hands when you're done (i don't think most people notice the sink). These are things I've been spoken to about when i visit other ranges but has never been mentioned at Stoddards. Exceptional things here: 1) a few staff members like Maxi and Kai are great to talk to. I'm new to gun ownership and they've been very enthusiastic and helpful when i talk to them about my experiences. There's another dude, can't remember his name at the moment. 2) the sale cabinet. You'll see good deals on inventory that's met their obsolescence threshold. Minus one star: whoever this Ethan person is, he's never there. I've had some gunsmith and pricing inquiries and was told to come in and ask for Ethan, i always miss him. I'm starting to think this is a made up person because no one wants to deal with me.

They have plenty of booths so no rush getting there. The staff were friendly and pretty knowledgeable regarding guns. One thing I forgot to mention, the booths have a digital control board when you put up your target. It's easy to figure out. They also have outdoor seating so you can relax after a hard day of training. I liked the place, but the only negative is the gun I used kept jamming and no one was there to watch new shooters,, so if there was an issue, you're on your own. However, I loved the place and would go back. I wish New York was as relaxed as Georgia when it comes to shooting.

At SS Gun and Range everyone I've ever interacted with have been helpful, supportive and made what potentially could be a challenging interaction a pleasant, informative and smooth process. They have multiple indoor ranges, which I LOVED. This way if only 2-3 people are in there, you don't have to be in the same range. The two guys running it all up front were super cool. Easy small talk. I'll be back again, and possibly with my girlfriend and her damn pink 9mm gun (ok, she doesn't have one yet but that's what we plan to get her for protection). ....Sigh..... I…read moreoverheard so many other guys at work saying that Smyrna Police Distributors was the best deal around to pick up new Glocks and at a great price. Well, today I decided to pickup a new G26 at SPD and find out for myself. Parking is OK with plenty of spaces behind the building. Upon walking in it appears to be like any other gun/tactical/police supply store, messy and unorganized. I observed to staff members assisting other customer's so I decided to take a stroll around and check out what they have. Typical stuff, holsters, ammo, tacticool crap and other slopped around tac pants for LEO's. A observation of the "counter club" identified the ...well...same ol' stuff. Guys in cutoff sleeves asking to hold and "look" at other types of guns, spending the majority of that time trying to convince the staffers of how gun-savy they were by dropping useless statistics of the guns. After about 5-7 minutes of waiting quietly at the counter, I am signaled by the employee (an older grey haired gentleman) and asked if I need assistance. I get straight to the point and tell him i want a Gen4 G26. He checks my creds and then goes on to explain paperwork info in the typical monotone pitch that all cocky and bored employees do. I fill out my paperwork, go to get a matching holster but shockingly they are out of that holster. Surprise. I pay and stroll out maybe 30minutes in all. The Glock was a great price but can be purchased cheaper at Ed's in Stckbridge ($389). The staff was the typical, short and passively rude. I have no need to go back, first and most likely last trip to Smyrna Police Distributors.
