Hi, I just want to share about my experience on Saturday July 18. When we walked in, there was a…read morequeue of people, but several open tables. I walked up to the young person at the desk and said hi. We did not have a reservation, but we would like to know where we can sit and she stared at me and said that she needed to check out the other customers and then she would let me know. We stood around for about 15 minutes and my niece was anxious to sit down, so did sit at a table. My husband and I went back up to the front while my niece and sister and her husband were walking around. At that time we walked back up to the front and two people are completely ignoring us while we're standing there. There's been several people walking in behind us and sitting at tables. As we are standing there, one of the people looked over at my niece and points and says what are they doing there? They then proceed to go over to a child and tell them that they cannot sit there. That's when I interrupted and said we've been waiting to see where we can sit we are happy to go anywhere and this person completely ignored us and the other girl at the front said she wasn't sure. We're standing there. People are behind us. People are walking up to the queue and the person that approached my niece ignored all of them until a lady spoke up and said she was here to pick up and then they said oh I thought you were with that party. The customer service was awful. We actually came here to help brighten up the spirits of my sister who had had an awful day. It took an hour just to get her to come out of the house and I did not make a reservation because I was not sure that we would be able to get her motivated to come. We were hoping that this would be a stress-free experience as the sign on the door says and something that would really bring her some joy instead it made her so upset and Feeling unwelcome. I was finally able to ask about some boxes that were sitting on a table to see is there anyway we could move to this two top while the rest of the party stand so that my niece and my sister could paint something small. The girl looked clueless, but said OK sure and went and moved the boxes off the table. I just felt like it would be appropriate to share this with the owner or the leadership team as there were several other patrons that were really ignored and this was not a great experience. Even if we didn't have a reservation acknowledging when we came in and providing us direction, would've been helpful instead of having us stand around while other people sat down and then have a child being approached and told to move.

They are the first Michael's (4 others recently) I've been to around north Atlanta-metro which has had DS white gouache. Unfortunately, I bought the last tube of it.... But hopefully they'll get more of it soon so I haven't deprived others. As always, they had a lot of clearance, I had a coupon for full price goods, and I had store rewards coupon so I walked out of there with $40 worth of paints but only spent $25. If you love to craft and aren't a Michael's Rewards member... why?

I've been to this store dozens and dozens of times over the years and never had a bad experience here. On the weekends the parking lot is a zoo and sometimes people just zoom behind you while you're backing out like you don't exist but you get those drivers everywhere. When you're coming out of the parking lot and wanting to turn back onto Barrett Parkway; this can be a challenge. There is a center chicken lane that all of the other stores empties out of and sometimes you have to wait quite a while before you can maneuver your way outta there. (Personally I just make a right like I'm going to the Joanne's behind here and make a quick U turn at the light by Joe's Crab Shack....) If you're looking for crafty stuff. This is a good spot to start...

The class was led by the owners of Fairy Garden Mother, Lianne and Peter. I learned helpful, practical tips for caring for my indoor plants, and all my questions were answered. They were knowledgeable, engaging, and easy to talk to. I especially loved creating my own terrarium, and it was reasonably priced--I'm 100% pleased with how it turned out. I made it with air plants, pebbles, and a charming little turtle. Every time I look at it, it gives me a calming vibe. I highly recommend visiting the Fairy Garden Mother website and attending one of their events!

Every year I do those Operation Christmas Child where you fill a shoe box size container with stuff…read moreand it's sent to kids overseas. Most years I'll go to Walmart for this stuff or Target and buy a bunch of stuff from the travel size bins. This year however I've decided I'm going to change up and try this place out. Some of the items that I will pack into these boxes are pencils, notebooks, chap sticks, nail clippers, tampons, sunglasses, crayons, etc. I was able to pick many of these items up for just under a buck or two. Plus I saw some more items here such as slippers and fuzzy socks that I think will also go great in these boxes. I didn't need any help shopping on my trip here but I was approached by a sales associates offering to help me find stuff which I appreciated. BEAUTIFUL AND UNIQUE!…read more This is some of the most beautiful pottery I have seen in a long time. The combination of colors and the way they just meld together is beautiful. Normally when you see pottery at the festivals it tends to be just bowls and cups, but this vendor had beautiful serving dishes, soap dispensers, jugs, urns and large mugs that looked like stacked mugs. The items were very colorful and unique. All of their items are microwave, dishwasher and oven safe so there is no need to worry about care and function. Malsnee Pottery is located in Woodstock and I will definitely be visiting their store when I am in the area.
