Hi, I just want to share about my experience on Saturday July 18. When we walked in, there was a queue of people, but several open tables. I walked up to the young person at the desk and said hi. We did not have a reservation, but we would like to know where we can sit and she stared at me and said that she needed to check out the other customers and then she would let me know. We stood around for about 15 minutes and my niece was anxious to sit down, so did sit at a table. My husband and I went back up to the front while my niece and sister and her husband were walking around. At that time we walked back up to the front and two people are completely ignoring us while we're standing there. There's been several people walking in behind us and sitting at tables. As we are standing there, one of the people looked over at my niece and points and says what are they doing there? They then proceed to go over to a child and tell them that they cannot sit there. That's when I interrupted and said we've been waiting to see where we can sit we are happy to go anywhere and this person completely ignored us and the other girl at the front said she wasn't sure. We're standing there. People are behind us. People are walking up to the queue and the person that approached my niece ignored all of them until a lady spoke up and said she was here to pick up and then they said oh I thought you were with that party. The customer service was awful. We actually came here to help brighten up the spirits of my sister who had had an awful day. It took an hour just to get her to come out of the house and I did not make a reservation because I was not sure that we would be able to get her motivated to come. We were hoping that this would be a stress-free experience as the sign on the door says and something that would really bring her some joy instead it made her so upset and Feeling unwelcome. I was finally able to ask about some boxes that were sitting on a table to see is there anyway we could move to this two top while the rest of the party stand so that my niece and my sister could paint something small. The girl looked clueless, but said OK sure and went and moved the boxes off the table. I just felt like it would be appropriate to share this with the owner or the leadership team as there were several other patrons that were really ignored and this was not a great experience. Even if we didn't have a reservation acknowledging when we came in and providing us direction, would've been helpful instead of having us stand around while other people sat down and then have a child being approached and told to move. read more

The pottery and paint selection is fine for the most part, but they don't have any of the sponge stamps that they used to have when I went there several years ago. The stencils and stamps the did have left were very old and didn't work. Also, the employees just seem really absent minded and not knowledgeable or interested. And whatever you do don't forget to take a picture of your art work before you go. If you don't, they will have no way to figure out if it's finished. They won't call to tell you it is finished. And if you don't go get it within 30 days it will be destroyed. Their system is very archaic and dysfunctional. They don't tell you that you have to take a picture, you're somehow just supposed to know this. Also, expect to spend at least $75-$100, which I think is very over priced. Just go somewhere else instead. read more

What a great activity for birthday parties, date night, or a girls day. They have pre made ceramics that you can paint and decorate. The options are endless of things to create! There are great inspiration pieces all around the shop and they usually have seasonal items out. You paint your item, they fire it for you, and you come back in a few days to pick it up. I believe you can also use their clay and make your own items as well! For the pre-made ceramics you paint, you pay one cost for the items and that includes the paint and firing. If you don't finish a piece in one sitting, you can bubble wrap it, take it home, and bring it back to finish another day! Feel free to bring your own food and drink! read more

Although I have very limited artistic ability, I have wanted to try out All Fired Up for quite some time. I came here on Monday late afternoon and had a relaxing time painting. When I called to make sure no reservations were necessary for a small group, the employee indicated that they don't normally get too busy on the weekdays but they do suggest getting there by 6PM. This was to ensure that we had plenty of time to pick out our ceramic and paint without rushing. From that initial conversation, I knew this would be a great experience with wonderful service. Upon entering on Monday, we were met by Gray who explained how the whole process worked, and there was a sign indicating that for everyone painting that day, their items would be ready by Friday. I honestly had a hard time choosing, because they had such a wide selection of items, including bowls, jewelry boxes, vases, and various statues of animals. The pricing was very clear and reasonable as all supplies (paints, brushes, stencils, stamps, etc.) were included in the price of whatever you chose to paint. After approximately 2 hours of painting and great conversation, we took pictures of our items and put our initials at the bottom and seamlessly checked out. Today, on Friday, I returned to pick everything up and was met by Gray again! Gray continuously had such a warm, welcoming personality with a great sense of humor, making the whole experience that much more enjoyable. Gray looked at the pictures of everything and found them. 2 minutes later, after Gray wrapped everything in bubble wrap, I was on my way home! From beginning to end, the staff at this location were so wonderful and this truly was a fantastic experience. Highly recommend for an afternoon/evening activity! read more

My dad and I visited All Fired Up over the holidays as a fun activity to do together. We made a reservation online, but it doesn't matter as they aren't checking for them / saving space for those with one. The place was completely packed with lots of families creating together, even though it was noon on a Wednesday. They have 100s of pieces to choose from to paint and about 75 paint colors to choose from. If you're not an experienced crafter or need additional help, I would recommend not going to this location as they only have 2 workers on staff at a time that are very busy and don't have much time to answer questions. This place is AWESOME! We bought a class teacher gift here a year ago and it was a BIG hit! Then over the weekend my daughter and I came for a Mother Daughter date. We had a blast! The place is neat, organized and SO clean! Emiko was so helpful and showed us where to get everything! I love that you do it on your own and at your own pace. I also love that prices range from low to high so everyone or any occasion are included. Our pieces turned out fabulous and it only took a few days for them to be fired and ready. Let me tell you - The staff at these DIY art shops, is a make or break. HUGE shout out to Emiko! She had the perfect ease to her; She was great speaking to us 3 adults (25 & 30), and a 6yo. Emiko was patient, friendly, informative, and also giving us space, and not hovering too much. She had the kindness of a manager or like a store owner, she's a gem! My cousin and her daughter (the 6yo), had to leave unexpectedly in a rush. Emiko jumped in with patience and with speediness to help get them out the door. My boyfriend and I, we were taking our painting very seriously. So serious, we were there for a solid three hours. Emiko was wonderful and inventive, checking up every once in awhile, and helping when needed. We'll definitely be back! FYI TO FUTURE, 1ST TIME VISITORS: expect to spend $20+ per piece. (There were a couple pieces under $20. But they were very small, and not that special (IMP) At first I was a little shell shocked. But only because I thought there'd be an additional studio-time fee, similar to other pottery places I had been to. Studio time and supply fees are worked into the price, so keep that in mind. I had a blast earlier this month at All Fired Up. I went early on a weekday and had the place to myself for almost the entirety of my designing. So if you're looking for something fun solo activity on your day off this is the perfect place to stop by during the week. My items were ready within a week they charge by the item so my plate was $26. Which isn't bad for the entire experience to only be that price. Over the weekends it is very busy as I went on a Sunday to pick up my item and there were several groups of people. So if you're looking for some solo time I'd go on a weekday earlier on in the day if you're looking to mingle I'd suggest the weekend. read more

So a couple of me and my girlfriend went here for a girls day. It was a great experience and we actually talked about coming back. The lady told us it would take a week or so to flash steam (or whatever it is) the pottery and that we would be contacted when they were ready. WE WERE NEVER CONTACTED! We were also never told that if we didn't come pick out stuff up within 3 months they would toss it. I went this past weekend to pick up our stuff ( considering we don't live near the location). When I got there I was told our stuff had been thrown away. I was very upset considering we gave our phone numbers for them to call us and they never did. They didn't even offer to give us discounts on our next time coming in. I honestly wouldn't go back. I spent 30 dollars on one item and they couldn't even call to tell me to come pick it up. Love these types of places but I can't go that often because I am a terrible painter. Regardless, I usually pick a cup or mug and try my best. We had a girls night out event here and were able to bring food and drinks so that was nice. The employees helped some of my fancier friends with their fancy art pieces whereas I found adequate amount of options for my simple pottery and plenty of paint options. You do have to come back and pick up your piece, but what a fun girls night out! read more

I cannot praise this location enough! Emiko and Ali are magical. I had a bit of an "out of the box" idea for my daughter's 3rd birthday and Emiko, in particular, went above and beyond to help me realize my vision. I initially called another location and was told that what I wanted done wasn't possible (with no alternative solution). This location is more than a half hour away from my home and I was so thankful for the service that Emiko and Ali provided that I didn't think twice about doing business with them exclusively. Excellent! Dragged my boyfriend here on our last day in Marietta. He was pretty skeptical about painting pottery, and I had only done it once when I was a kid. However, as soon as we walked in we were greeted and took our time marveling over all the pieces we could choose from! The selection is awesome they have EVERYTHING. I chose a cupcake with a lid, and he chose a coffee tray. (both functional pieces) Afterwards, the lady explained how to choose/use paints, and they even have stencils & stamps available. Be aware: It will take TIME. I estimated about 1.5 hours to paint a small cupcake, but we ended up having to leave our pieces and come back later that evening to finish. The staff were really accommodating about this. Also, once you finish painting, there is a 5 day wait for your piece. Price wise, it can seem a little steep, but they literally provide you with EVERYTHING. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a date night!! read more

I was a bit surprised that my friends and I were the only ones there on new year's eve, but when people came in to pick up their finished items, I realized how popular this place is! All Fired Up is located to the right of Kroger, in the same shopping plaza. The recent enovations to the plaza make the place really nice looking from the outside. There are so many pieces to choose from, and I was especially pleased with the amount of practical objects they had like an oil bottle and candle lanterns. Most items were about $25-$35 things like a plate or piggy bank, and also some $14 tiny things like a mini cup. There are so many stencils, sponges, and examples to use and you get to use unlimited paint/glaze based on whatever you want. The music was a little loud and there was only one person on staff. We had to wait a decent amount of time when we were done because she had to pack up a huge pick up. I would return if my friends did! read more

I am totally in love with this place. I took my 10 year old niece here so she could decorate something for her birthday. Ali was so helpful. She explained how the process works and helped us both with the stensils. If we needed help, she helped but i also liked that there were no hidden fees. You choose your piece and decorate it and thats all you pay for. We took our time and didnt have to worry about "hurrying up". Last year was my 9th wedding anniversary and as one of the 'traditional' gifts is pottery, I thought it would be cool to paint a coffee mug for my wife. I am relatively artistic but this was out of my comfort zone! Everyone at All Fired Up was very helpful and took time to keep me calm and focused on the task. They gave great advice and checked on me periodically as I was deep in the 'creative process'. All in all, it was a great afternoon and the mug came out well. I will say compared to other paint pottery stores, prices are good. But found no hair dryers to dry your piece in between coats which helps you handle the piece and also for a better result. Your finished pottery is put on a shelf by what type it is ( with cupcakes, frogs, cups whatever). When returning to pick up our pieces, we found our work was not bagged and wrapped with everyone who painted with you. One of the better pieces in our groups was hidden and even the employee could not find it without extensive search. What if I had not known who did what??? This was disappointing. You could literally say anything you claimed you do was yours. I likely won't be back due to their disorganization nor would I recommend them due to same. read more
