I recently attended a surprise birthday party for a good friend at The Venue Marietta in Marietta,…read moreGeorgia, and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. This event venue offers a beautiful and versatile space for special occasions. We arrived a half an hour before the birthday boy (who turned 55) was to arrive. All the guests were instructed to park in the back of the building which offers plenty of parking spaces for the size of the venue. The venue was beautifully decorated, from the entrance to the tables, to the ballons, and party decor. The layout is spacious enough for tables for brunch or dinner and then the dance floor area where the DJ booth was had enough room to get our groove on. Nikki Hunt was a gracious event coordinator. You could tell she takes pride in the venue. She made sure all the guests were comfortable and had everything they needed. The level of service provided was top-notch and contributed to the overall positive experience. And the birthday boy was completely surprised!!! He had no idea what he was walking into. Thanks to his beautiful wife, it was an event to remember.

First a month ago when I made my last payment I told the manager that the doors in both men and women's bathrooms did not have locks on stalls. I was told it would be addressed. To my surprise the day of my event still no locks. Then the floor was covered in some kind of grease. It was slippery. Also a leak in the roof was dripping into the venue. I texted the manager and she sent a lady to look at it but never addressed it. I had a GUEST who owns her cleaning company mop the floors with rubbing alcohol to degrease the floors and mop up the water. Absolutely mad at this point. I called the owner to tell him about my issues and he brushed them off like nothing. Said he will offer me a discount at my next event. What makes you think I'm coming back. My guest should not have done your job. Do not rent from here. Yes its beautiful but it's a crappy building and ran by an even worse person. No sympathy that my day was ruined.

Brussel sprouts were so good. The grilled veggies were popular. And that bread pudding. We ate every last morsel. And all of the sauce. The food was just perfectly paired with our wines. Susan, I appreciate all of your help with the menu planning. And I appreciate how easy your team made it for me to shock and awe my guests!!! Thanks you so much for everything. It was just perfect. As I drove…read moreup, the parking lot seemed super small, however, the staff had a design plan that was perfect and ensured everyone had a place to park. The upstairs is a super open floor plan with rooms off to the side. This was ideal as the Bride and Groom had their personal areas which were hugeeeeeee. As they were getting ready the open area was equipped with a portable bar and multiple hi-top tables. Omg! It was so cute. We were able to mingle and take pictures as we awaited the specified time to move to the downstairs area. Once downstairs, the room is hugeeeeeeee. It was perfectly decorated and afforded a sense of style, elegance and amazing ambiance. Once the guests were seated, the bride and groom began to walk down the stairs. When I tell you this room was MADE for such an entrance as this, it was spot on. There is a bar to the front and the main area is a blank canvas which allows you to set it up how you would like. Brea had it sit with a sit down eating space and a dance floor towards the back area. Based on my experience at Venue 92, it has been added to my venue list as the options of use for this space seem endless.
