We were in the art area where the kids had an instructional paint along on a canvas, other arts and crafts, coloring, and my daughter's personal favorite, coloring on the glass. The staff was very patient and friendly with the children. The other room where we ate had a private bathroom for party guests which is a definite plus for a kiddie party. There appeared to be other rooms with jumpers and there was a class of some sort in the space that looked like the larger space. My only gripe was the bathroom in the main area wasn't the cleanest and from what I over heard the private bathroom needed some work before we got in there (NOTE: See note from the owner, I heard only half and assumed wrong). I'm not sure what time they start parties or classes, but I got there at 11:45a and the trash was near overflow level and could've used a light scrub. That said, I wouldn't mind having my daughter's 3rd birthday there.

My daughter just had her 7th birthday party here on Saturday. I'm going to explain my review in…read moresections. Initial booking experience: Easy enough- you use the website then someone calls you and explains the packages, sends over a contract, pay the deposit etc. Two weeks later I hadn't gotten an email about paying the rest of the party fee like we discussed. I called and emailed and no on responded- the website had been deleted so I sent them a dm. No response but I ended up figuring out how to pay it in full instead of the installments we agreed on. Slightly annoying but it was done. One week before the party I received and automated email from the booking website stating that I would be refunded the second payment I made- shock sets in. I called the number and left countless messages, emailed, insta dm'd- zero communication. At this point I figured o needed to be planning another party. Three days later I'm still calling and someone finally answers. Very nonchalantly says the party was still going to happen and they were having some issues with booking. Relieved but disturbed about communication and service but mentioned someone should have called me as soon as they found out. Party Day- I arrive at 10:55 party start time is 11am. Knocking on the door (panicked again) a teenager comes To tell me we can't enter until 11. Okay. 11am she rolls out a red carpet and goes in. No communication to us. Guests have arrived. Sticks her head out and says, "Y'all can come in" Party- They began putting very wrinkled robes on the kids. The room as silent other than the kids talking to each other. They went back chose their colors for their nails and toes and split the girls in three sections-makeup, nails, and toes. Only two kids were working. This felt very awkward. The parents were told to stay up front but of course I kept going back to check in. My daughter the birthday girl was crying at one point- the older girl said she was poked in the eye and my daughter had makeup in her eye. I asked if they had wipes or a napkin she told me to go get toilet paper out of the bathroom. (Upsetting but still stayed calm.) still only the two kids working. Most of the music playing was very randomly in Spanish. The owner comes out and brings a number 7 sign and heads back to her office. I say hey are you the owner I spoke with, she says yes and sends me an additional invoice for the two extra kids. Again the website seems to be having issues because it isn't processing my card payment. She told me it needed to be paid before she de my daughters nails. Luckily I had cash on hand. All kids finish several kids upset because nail polish looks like it was done by a kid- because it was. Happy Birthday- Cupcakes came out before food. Weird- but I'm sure the kids liked it. Time for pizza. The kids get one very small slice. That's it. That's the party. Very basic. Very expensive. Very underwhelming.

You choose what color to paint the wood, then go thru a several step process until voila, you have a beautiful decorative wood plank for your home or as a gift. They had a team of ladies come to our event to help with instructions and color recommendations if you needed them - super nice & helpful. Definitely allot two hours for this kind of event. I like that it was more private and intimate. Honestly it was like the other group wasn't even there which I liked. They had workers who helped them on their projects while we had some for our table who helped us. I can't remember the girl who was helping us, but she was good at helping me pick out the kind of wood and colors I wanted for my project because I wasn't sure. I didn't even know we'd be doing diy stuff like sanding our wood and nailing things together. I thought that was pretty neat and different. The staff was very welcoming to our party and helpful. They made sure we all were able to get the steps done that we needed. They showed us how to use the air gun which I thought was cool. I like how they showed us examples of other projects around the shop to get ideas from. You're also allowed to bring your own food and wine, which is similar to the sip and paints. Our party brought along some snacks and wine and it was just a great wind down time to get away from work and start off an enjoyable weekend I definitely will go back because I saw some other stuff I'd love to make!
