When we first initially started at Sunbrook Miss Sheena was our child's teacher. She absolutely…read moreblew me away. But then you quickly learn that all teachers are not created equal at this facility Miss Sheena was awesome because of the type of person she was. Spread into pre-K with Miss Mingo everything turned to trash. We were being lied to. She was sending aggressive messages in the portal then deleting them. But I screen shot everyone. They took something from my car and lied about it not knowing I had dash cams. The director basically told me I was lying until I told her I had dash cams and the entire turn changed. The building does not seem to be up to code. Over the winter their pipes broke for EIGHT WEEKs. According to other parents this was the third time they flooded AND THE CONTINUED TO COLLECT from the state CAPS and from self pay parents FOR EIGHT WEEKS. They weren't even paying their staff. I walked in one day to a teacher crying. I consoled her, she told me they threatened to fire her if she went to her scheduled OB appointments and couldn't take anymore time off. Well that federal law and illegal. One day they put my daughter in my car balling her eyes out. I asked her what had happened "ms. Mingo wouldn't let me go potty" she was soaking in urine and they put her in my car. Mingo lied to us and her employers. They would constantly defend her but again they continue to forget I have dash cams and filmed the entire circumstance. During our parent teacher conference, I also had to film because she would spew out several lies or act like I never asked questions that I had several questions for when addressed to Chelsea or Jalisha they would stick up for the teacher, even though I had proof. This always put them in a tizzy but always rejected to see the proof. Aftercare is a complete joke. It's basically a young teenager with a cell phone sitting in a corner playing on their phones. Kids had their collar bones broken in aftercare. They mixed them with the older kids, including Older kids from other schools Who were playing entirely too rough to have a four-year-old in the room. They claimed they're always filming, but they will never show you the proof. Jalisha And Chelsea purposely would not put cameras into their office, so whatever they told you in there, they could lie about later. Every kid is just a dollar amount they don't care how they get their money they don't care how they'll take care of your child as long as you're paid up. And they especially don't care about their employees. The only thing my daughter gained from pre-K was PTSD

Joined the Soft Society Social for their Ponies and Pilates workshop on Sunday, May 31st. The…read moreweather cooperated and we had an amazing afternoon. Upon arrival, there's plenty of visitor parking in front of the stables. I took a Lyft but there didn't seem to be any issues. There's also room to park by the lake next door. The property is too lovely to describe - you just have to go. The Soft Society event included a specialty matcha drinks, a Pilates class, feeding the horses and making floral arrangements. The owners were on site to answer questions and support with feeding the horses. They were so patient and excited to eat the carrots and apples we had. They posed for photos and were the most gentle animals. The grounds are several acres - we did Pilates on a grassy hilltop then did the bouquets by the lake. We passed other women riding and grooming the horses in the stables. They all looked well fed, the area was clean and well maintained. By the lake - several cars were parked to fish. There's also trails to hike. They have a couple of tiny houses on the grounds too that help non-traditional people that need housing. It's a great place to visit, easy to get to and I can't wait to get back!

Located in a quiet plaza on a street with major Hallmark Vibes, the Little Gym is a dream for little ones. It was so colorful when we walked in, it hit oozed "fun"! We were taken into the gym area that was full of soft play toys to roll over, crawl over, anything you can imagine. In our group there were 4 babies, all older than my little one but the instructor made the exercises work of them. The babies rolled, they danced and even had bubble time! At the time of our visit, my baby was about 5-6months and working on his rolling so he was frustrated but the teacher was so patient and kind. The first visit didn't turn out to be his favorite activity YET lol but I'm so excited to return for more classes now that he's progressed. There are memberships available but the pop-in classes are just as good for those who don't want to commit just yet. Seriously worth a visit or five with your little ones!

I didn't think I'd need a court order to see my own child's attendance records…read more My 5yo has been at this studio for about 3 years I've been an involved parent the whole time and the staff knows I'm the dad. After my ex and I separated, I wasn't the one bringing her on to class anymore. After a while my daughter told me she hadn't been going much, so I called the studio to request her attendance history. I was told they wouldn't share anything because I'm "not on the account" and only the account holder (my ex) could approve it. When I said I'd pursue a court order to give me access, the conversation escalated quickly and I was accused of "threatening" the manager, with talk of calling the police on me. I swear this was out of the blue and totally unwarranted. I have that conversation recorded. I went in person later that day and tried again. I was told the answer was still no unless my ex approved. She declined, so I spent two months getting a court order. Only then did the studio provide me my child's records. Once I got the records, they did indeed show that my kid missed more than half of her classes. I used those records to have the court switch one of my custody days to Monday and now my kid won't miss anymore classes. I'm leaving this review because a children's business should have a clear, respectful process for handling requests from either legal parent (verify ID, request documentation if needed, and de-escalate). This didn't need to become a conflict. It cost me around $2,500 to get that order. I'm considering using the recordings I have of my conversations with the studio to bring a lawsuit against them as well so cause them to have legal policies in place and not illegal ones. I hope ownership updates the policy and trains staff so other parents don't have to go through this, but if not, I will probably take them to court as well

He explained the rates of each room, how pricing works, what is and is not allowed in the event space, and let me know when I could come in for a tour. We stopped by a little after 7 one night to see the room and the guy working the front desk was more than happy to show us the room we were interested in reserving and answered all our questions. The next day, I spoke with Lee and reserved the space. It was a super easy process and I appreciated that he always responded very quickly if I had any questions. There were plenty of room options to host an event and the cost was very budget friendly. On the day of our event, things were flawless. We had no problem getting access to the room when we arrived on the day of our event and the room was already setup just as I discussed with Lee. The rooms are nice and spacious and the center has recently undergone a renovation so the rooms and bathrooms are updated and look much different than they do on their website. There is plenty of parking nearby and it's pretty easy to find the building. A really good experience and if I ever need a space for an event, I'll be sure to check out the community center first!
