However, at the latest birthday party my child attended here it became obvious that the staff member hosting the group should not be working with children. She was repeatedly rude and unhelpful when my son asked questions or needed assistance, including when his helmet became stuck. She was so aggressive and unprofessional that she made him uncomfortable to the point where he didn't feel safe asking for water. I ultimately had to pick him up early. It was overcrowded with people colliding in the arcade area. Many arcade machines were broken, some of the laser tag blasters are broken, there were multiple police cars outside the entrance at the time. the environment did not feel well-managed or family-friendly. Given the high cost, I expect much better care, professionalism, and attention to children's safety and comfort. I would not recommend this venue for kids' parties.

Andretti will be coming to Durham NC soon and I'm glad I had a chance to experience it first in Marietta. This place is huge !!!! It's a full entertainment center that features Laser Tag, Arcade, Bowling, Indoor Go Karting, dining and a Sky Bar. My daughter and her team really enjoyed themselves. The Sky Bar was my favorite part ! Us parents enjoyed cocktails and beers while the kids enjoyed Laser Tag and Go Karting. My daughter shared that their Go Karts were the fastest she's experienced. Customer Service here was excellent. Looking forward to what the Durham location has to offer.

I was just disappointed with the amount of slides that were closed and how many staffs were standing around just hanging out with their coworkers. I think the lines would've been faster if they opened up more slides and had more staff working rather than standing around. The wait of the lines were 40mins ish long bc of the lack of staff working and slides open. It wasn't even busy for a Friday so I don't understand why they allowed that. Overall I enjoyed my time even tho we only got to be on 3 slides from 11am-5pm. In between slides we were at wave pool or snacking bc the wait was ridiculous.

We spent over $1,000 between admission, food, and a cabana, and it was absolutely not worth the money. The food situation was terrible. We were served chicken tenders that were still raw, which is completely unacceptable. The food lines were extremely long, and many of the young employees seemed more interested in playing around than helping customers. There appeared to be little supervision. We paid over $400 for a cabana, only to find it dirty, moldy, overcrowded, and poorly maintained. To make matters worse, many of the rides were closed throughout the day, making the park feel old and not worth the premium price. One of the biggest disappointments was finding out that the funnel cake stand was closed. There was no notice on the website, and after asking about it, we were told it had been shut down because someone had allegedly put bleach in the cooking oil. Whether true or not, hearing something like that only added to our concerns about food safety. Guests were smoking Black & Mild cigars near family areas, and the entire park felt overcrowded and poorly managed. Everything was overpriced, and the overall experience was frustrating from start to finish. For the amount of money we spent, we expected much better. Between the raw food, dirty cabana, closed rides, poor service, and lack of communication, we will not be returning. Six Flags White Water needs to seriously improve its cleanliness, food safety, staffing, and overall guest experience.

??BEWILDERMENT?? One…read moreof the last operating -- and most unique -- custom Schwarzkopf roller coaster creations is far more than just a brain teaser. I, like many enthusiasts, consider this a sister coaster to 'Shock Wave' over at sibling park SFOT in Dallas. In fact, both rides opened within a month of each other--'Mind Bender' preceding its Texas brethren by a mere 3 weeks. Along with identical trains and similar four-tube truss track construction, the whopping G-forces are also alike (this pulls 5.4G, while 'SW' nets a gnarly 5.9G). Due to being built over a ravine, there's a considerable elevation change which adds to the ride's thrill factor. The 2nd vertical loop hovers mere inches above water; during local area flooding in September 2009, this portion of the ride was partially submerged! Trains use individual ratcheting lap bars and cars are fairly cramped. There's a brief tunnel before the final brake run and a very aesthetically-pleasing natural waterfall nearby. In 1997, this ride was repainted green to fit in with the Gotham City section of the park. The '?' is prominent on the entry signage, making 'Mind Bender' unofficially tied to the villainous Riddler. The wrapping on the train matches this scheme as well. The main reason for the unusually high G's is because the loops are more akin to a perfect circle and less like the typical teardrop shape. Whether in the front, back, or middle rows, you'll feel those G's, and baby it is WONDERFUL. A flip side to this is the delightful *negative* G's experienced in the front row at the crest of each turnaround. It twice caught me by surprise, and I ate that sh*t up. Simply marvelous. It comes as no surprise to me that both 'Mind Bender' and its fraternal twin 'Shock Wave' continue to rank highly in the worldwide poll of steel roller coasters. In fact, this particular ride was #14 in the 2010 listing, higher than both my own 'Raging Bull' AND the legendary 'Nemesis', which is rather impressive. Eric S's Six Flags Over Georgia coaster rating : 3rd out of 9! Final verdict --- this splendid "terrain" ride is truly one-of-a-kind in the world. Although it's nowhere near the fastest, tallest, longest, or has the most inversions, it began a steel thrill machine boom back in the late 1970's that still hasn't stopped to this day. For that it deserves a whole heap of praise.....and it's still a helluva fun ride, to boot! Between the brain-boggling G-forces, the unexpected pops of airtime in the front row, and the gorgeous green gully the coaster is built over, 'Mind Bender' is a fantastic attraction that you do NOT want to miss on your trip to Six Flags Over Georgia. Very highly recommended!!

AQUA MARINE This…read morecompact Vekoma roller coaster is astoundingly intense and is one of their best models installed in the US, thanks to its striking setting and some recent remodeling. (( fans and followers of mine will appreciate the frequent use of puns and double-entendres in my titles/headers, and this review is no exception. 'Aqua Marine' is in fact an elusive **triple** play-on-words; 'aqua' an indicator of the ride's construction over water, 'marine' an allusion to the revamped military theme tie-in, and 'aquamarine' for the overhaul in blue paint the entire ride was given. just go ahead and give me the Pulitzer in Creative Writing now. )) A top speed of 52mph sends the trains through a quintet of inversions - a highly unique "butterfly" element, sidewinder, and consecutive double corkscrews - across a 2,742ft course. All of this is fairly compressed into a ride time of 1 minute 20 seconds. Lines aren't terribly long, a testament to good station crews and two train operation. Coaster nerd moment: the "butterfly" element is essentially back-to-back sidewinders taken in series. The only other ride to use this is 'Goudurix' at Parc Astérix in France, so it's pretty special. It's like the "batwing" found on 'Vortex' @ Kings Island, but the train exits the element traveling in the same direction as it began. Tough to describe, and even tougher to visualize, I know. Just do a Google image search. Existing as 'Ninja' from 1992-2015, this coaster was painted red and was hated by many guests for the unpleasantly rough ride it gave. For the 2016 season, Six Flags Over Georgia made the decision to re-paint it blue, re-track parts of the coaster, replace boxy shoulder restraints with soft vest ones, and re-introduce the ride with a military theme as 'Blue Hawk'. My only criticisms about this coaster are the CRAZY sluggish chain lift hill (quite possibly the slowest in existence) and the fact that it's still kinda jarring. Although not as rough as it was when operating as 'Ninja', 'Blue Hawk' still delivers a pretty turbulent ride. The new, soft vest-style over the shoulder restraints make a *big* difference in rider comfort. .......oh, a word of caution.....do NOT attempt to extend your arms or legs outside of the car at any time. They will go bye-bye. The ride's manufacturer built the structure in such a way that beams and track come within MERE INCHES of the oncoming train. I counted at least 5 "headchopper" moments, which is a lot for a single coaster. It's apparent in any row and much like the inverted 'SLC' models built by Vekoma, this ups in the intensity factor considerably. Normally this ride would garner 4* from me, with 'Blue Hawk' it's all about location, location, location. This custom coaster is built ENTIRELY over water and 90% of the supports rest on concrete footer built atop a small lagoon. That earns it major plus points in my book and makes for some fantastic photo opportunities, the sapphire track reflecting off of the cool cobalt water. Eric S's Six Flags Over Georgia rating: 4th out of 9. Final verdict --- between the patriotic re-branding ('Murrica, f*ck yeah!), the fresh new coat of azure paint, and the tightly-packed succession of inversions, I'd have to award 4.5* for this particular roller coaster. I can't do half stars, but since I enjoyed the watery whereabouts of this one so much, I'm going to err on the side of awesomeness and go for the full 5*. Yes indeed, 'Blue Hawk' is one of the better rides at Atlanta's Six Flags and it makes for some phenomenal picture taking. It's a very Instagram-worthy ride, in my opinion. With very reasonable wait times, I highly recommend you check this out on your day at the park!

Blue Hawk is probably one of my least favorite, if not my least favorite ride in the park. The…read more"rival" would be - Georgia Scorcher. Of course, this is all my opinion. Blue Hawk was re-done from the previous "Ninja" and oh boy - did Ninja have a rep. Ninja was considered one of the shakiest coasters in the park, and even in the busiest of days, it never had a long line. You knew how busy it was if Ninja had a line. Anyways, in an effort to "rebrand" this painful ride, they repainted the tracks, re-DID the tracks to make it smoother and re-opened it as Blue Hawk. Did it actually change? Yes -- actually the ride feels significantly smoother, but the shakiness is still there. Because the restraints are pull-down, your neck or head or shoulder is bound to bump into it after the infinite amounts of loops and inversions the ride has. Mainly the reason this ride earns 2 (vs. 1) I would ONLY ride this if someone sincerely asked me to ride - I usually always skip this one and Georgia Scorcher but sometimes, it's not that bad to ride honestly. It really just... "could be better."

I mean adults like dinosaurs too. This was held in the parking at Whitewater and actually getting to the part of the drive-thru to actually see the dinosaurs took about 30 mins. As soon as you entered the parking lot, there was a long line of cars that weaved throughout the parking lot until you reached an attendant who directed which line of cars to follow to enter. The attendant was less than enthused about the drive-thru and pretty much just moved a cone and moved his arms to guide us forward. We reached the front of one line only to wait another 10 minutes before they cleared the last group of cars to come through and was greeted by a young lady who provided us with a piece of paper with a QR code to visit the website to listen to the tour (via SoundCloud) and a scorecard for the trivia questions asked throughout the tour. After making it through the initial waiting period, you feel as though you're making progress but you're actually just being moved towards the souvenir area where you can by various things to commemorate your trip. We turned on SoundCloud and listened to different facts about each dinosaur we drove by and tried to play the trivia game but with little ones in the car it was hard to focus on the game and try to keep them focused on the dinosaurs. With the amount of cars it probably took about an hour to zig-zag throughout the parking lot. At the end the trivia winner gets a certificate andddd that's the end of the show. For the amount of money paid, I guess I would've expected a little more but the birthday boy had fun so there's that.
