Rules inside the pods
Mahauganee S.

We were attending a weekend, event at the children's museum, and decided to bring our children to the ferris wheel after. The best pricing for a party of four was on Groupon, so that's what we used. The ride includes four rotations. I was surprised at how quickly the ride moves, even though it was a reasonable pace. The pods are temperature controlled, and have an emergency call button in case someone needs to exit early. The button alerts the staff on the ground, and they will stop the ride to let you off on the next rotation. It was pretty empty when we were there. They have upsell items that we were not interested in: a single rose for $10, a teddy bear for $15, and souvenir pictures on a themed backdrop. To exit the attraction, you walk through the area where your pictures would be and a patio where there are stands to buy snack foods and sweet treats.

Next up on our post-MomoCon adventure: a thrilling ride on Skyview Atlanta! And talk about perfect timing - it was gloriously overcast and, even better, ZERO line! What more could you ask for?! The moment we were securely locked into our gondola, it was like magic... the lines started forming behind us! YES! We totally beat the rush! The city view from the top? Absolutely B-R-E-A-T-H-T-A-K-I-N-G! You get an unparalleled, sweeping panorama of our beautiful city, stretching for miles. Despite its impressive height, the ride itself is surprisingly smooth and doesn't move as fast as it appears, making it a truly pleasant and serene experience. I loved every moment and would absolutely come back for another spin. If you haven't already, do yourself a HUGE favor and ride Skyview Atlanta. Clean area and skyboxes, the line moves quickly, staff are friendly, overall a good experience to end a date night!

Love this! It's a great way to see Olympic park, coke world and GA Aquarium. We've done this last time we were in ATL and have done it in Myrtle Beach. We got a Groupon which saved us about $10 Beautiful views and climate controlled gondolas. IMO a must do in ATL!! My only gripe would be the doors weren't clean. They were pretty cloudy so some views were obstructed by filth. I'd suggest cleaning them more often.

While visiting, this was one of our top places to go visit and experience we were not disappointed as you go around a few times and get to get a beautiful view of the city and Centennial Park. My kids and I enjoyed the experience and for under 20 bucks in person plus a discount for seniors veterans students. They also sell your pictures at the end for $40 which are actually pretty nice and a good memory to have definitely an experience you should at least do once while in Atlanta.

Good- the experience itself, the view-would be better at night (will come back for that purpose), tickets can be bought in Groupon-although I was charged another $3 after paying for them already. Bad-windows were dirty, the wheel didn't really stop at the top for you to enjoy the view for maybe just a minute or two. We have ridden in other wheels like this and it was slower in rotation and we were able to enjoy the view at the very top bc it stopped. If you want to go for experience-I think going during the golden hour/night time might be better. Is this a must attraction to do while in Atlanta? No, but it was nice to sit in the air condition and see Atlanta from above.

We had to try this when we were in Atlanta. It was ok. You don't really ever just keep moving. The whole time we were on it, we stopped every few cars for them to have people get off and new ones back on. The light in our car wouldn't turn off, when we complained, they offered nothing. There were clean and spacious and service was friendly but not quite worth the price of the ticket.

Monique M.

It was decent. I wouldn't run back and do it again. The line was super fast , they let you go around 3 times, and they had air conditioning in the part you sit in to go around the Ferris wheel. I'd definitely suggest using a Groupon .

Cool but if you have been to the similar ones in Las Vegas or London it will be a let down. Those are so much larger and more impressive. This one in Atlanta is like a mini version of those, kinda like the child would be if those large ones had a baby with a ferris wheel. Parking is the worst so I would recommend not driving. At least once you are in the area you are directly across from the olympic park. Even if you have tickets already you still have to wait in line. Luckily the line moves pretty fast. Overall worth doing once for fun.

Great experience on the Skyview Atlanta. We took pictures prior to getting on and the staff were focused on keeping the line moving but very friendly. We looped around 5 times before disembarking which gave us plenty of time to take in the view and take pictures.

I came here with my family on a hot July afternoon. The units are air conditioned which was a relief from walking to get to the location. Up up and away you go for great views of the city buildings and olympic park, CNN, college football hall of fame, etc. A little pricey for what you get so see if a Groupon or other discounts are available.

The current Groupon for the date package states 'Line reservation required for romance package only' What does that mean? How does one do that?

I was a little confused by this as well but its the same line. We had no line, lady noticed our package was the romance one and gave us the chocolates. Very cute

How many people can fit in 1 booth?

Hello Takeya, our gondolas can hold up to 6 adults. We don't mix unknown customers together so if you do only have two in your party you will enjoy the gondola by yourself.

How many people do each gondola seat?

I'd say 4 adults, comfortably.

Is the line usually long? Should I arrive early?

During peak season (I would think Summer and Fall), lines can be long.. we visited a random Saturday in September and line was very manageable. Give yourself enough time just in case....

Have you been adulting a little too hard lately?…read more Do you want to bring back some childhood memories? Do you want the fun and excitement without the guilt of feeling childish? Skyline Park is the place for you! After 8 PM it's adults ONLY, and it's a blast! Enjoyable carnival games, an exhilarating metal slide, mini golf, and this little pulley-type sky ride. (PLEASE skip arm day, this will be your workout) I've come to this location several times and thoroughly enjoyed myself every time. Recently I decided to bring my parents, and they loved it. They have not felt so free and young in so long, and they allowed themselves to tap back in. Enjoy themselves and take a ride down memory lane. All while enjoying Breathtaking views of the city. Intoxicating glee and positive vibes. I highly recommend Skyline Park! Don't overthink it, just do! If I haven't convinced you yet. I have I mentioned that its budget friendly? Access to the rooftop is $15. It's a short elevator ride up. (Sometimes they give you the history of the building in the elevator itself, not always, but they should ask about that) For an additional 15 bucks, you will receive unlimited games. For a whopping total of $30 to have the time of your life. Also, the drinks are fantastic. They have two bars on the rooftop. Did I mention that the drinks are reasonably priced? They do have a bar where you can customize your drinks, and a walk-up window where they have preset drinks and your favorite carnival foods Please note: During the winter months, they do have an ice-skating rink! Which was sad because we were supposed to be there to celebrate my son's 13th birthday. He was excited to try this place out. We drove over an hour to be disappointed. First we walk in an hour after opening on a Sunday, place was empty.......we walk right up to the counter and I tell the girl that I had looked the pricing up online and I knew I wanted to do the 3 race, game card, and k1 membership pass for 3 boys. She gave me a blank stare and then said oh you mean 2 race. Ok. Rude. But ok yeah that. She proceeds to ask the boys had they ever been there before. 1 of my sons friends says yes. So she goes you need to go check him on the computer with a waiver first because he has a membership so you won't pay for that part for him. Here I am thinking oh she is being helpful after being wrong. I smile. We go to computers do the waiver for 1 boy as instructed. We go back to the counter now 2 more groups have come in. We have to wait behind 1 group now since there is only one cashier/check in person although there were at least 5 other staff in the building including a manager. Anyway after we wait for that group to check in. I step back to the counter and THEN she proceeds to tell me oh you didn't do the waiver for the other two. I'm like you told me to do it only for the one that had been here before. So again we step out of line and go BACK to the computers. At this time I'm starting to get annoyed. By this time more people are coming in, so now my boys will have to wait behind several big groups when we arrived before ALL of these people. When I finally get back to the counter.....all boys are checked in. She got RUDE again. And wanted to loudly explain pricing to me and make sure I knew that the boys only got a $10 game card for what I was about to pay. Like VERY loud. I didn't hear her do this with any of the other groups that checked in before us and I hate to say this.......none of them were my complexion. Never once was I rude or matching her volume or tone. We actually walked in that place happy because we were supposed to be celebrating. Well anyway it didn't stop there. Once we got checked no instructions were given on what to do next outside of the girl at the counter giving me my receipt and their game cards. So my boys walked over to where you line up to go on the track and yet another employee was RUDE to them by telling them to back away from the gate and wait for someone to call them. They are EXCITED to be here Jeesh, so then after she yells at them they come over to me saying they not going to let her ruin the joy. They finally get called to race and all the boys are overwhelmed after the employees stopped the cars several time or slowed their speed down all during the race. Then in between their first and second race we went to their "arcade" which only has 12 games......which none of them are less than 40 credits for 1 game. $10 gets you 200 in credits. While one of the boys was in the process of playing a game they got called back for their 2nd race. It was EVEN worse than the first one. We decided to opt out of trying their food and went somewhere else to grab lunch. 0 stars would not recommend.

Fun Spot is a smaller, more affordable amusement park that focuses on straightforward rides and a…read morerelaxed experience compared to the major theme parks. It has a good mix of attractions including multi-level go-kart tracks (one of the main highlights), roller coasters, thrill rides like drop towers and spinning rides, bumper cars, kiddie rides, and arcade-style games. The go-karts are definitely the standout and what the park is best known for. Pricing is much more budget-friendly than big parks. Most visitors can expect either free admission with pay-per-ride options or wristbands that typically range around $50-$80 per person depending on location, day, and promotions. This makes it a cheaper alternative if you want rides without spending theme park-level money. Food and drinks inside are on the higher side, but still fairly standard for an amusement park. Wait times are generally shorter than major parks. On average, most rides are about 5-20 minutes, even during busier times. The most popular attractions like go-karts or certain thrill rides can reach 20-40 minutes during peak hours, but lines still move fairly consistently compared to larger parks where waits can be much longer. Staff were friendly and kept things moving efficiently at ride entrances, and the park overall felt easy to navigate. Parking was also simple and convenient depending on the location. Overall, Fun Spot is a good option if you want a casual amusement park experience with fun rides, shorter wait times, and more affordable pricing without the intensity of bigger theme parks.

It's so absurd that this park has ArieForce One. It's like a 95 year old having a Ferrari…read more This Fun Spot is out in the boonies at the edge of the Atlanta metro area and lacks the happening vibes of the two Florida Fun Spots. Granted it was noonish when I was there but it was Saturday and the place was a ghost town. The layout is pretty odd as well. There's a secondary overflow parking lot on the midway next to a big stockade looking building and other old timey looking facades but most of it looks like a county fair or a family fun center like Barrymore's back home. I got my wristband to ride as much as I wanted for the day, even knowing I had to make it to Cape Canaveral by the end of the night and couldn't spend anything close to a full day here. I made a beeline for the fabled star attraction, ArieForce One. It looks great and a mere station wait was a welcome sight. The first 90% of ArieForce One completely lived up to the hype with an incredible mix of airtime hills, inversions and overbanked turns coming at a breakneck pace. Nothing was breaking my neck though, or causing the slightest bit of discomfort. Then came the series of bunny hills at the end with their violent ejector air. Absolutely killed my thighs whether I was in the front or the rear of the train. Felt like my thighs were getting jackhammered. Now I've ridden several coasters built by Rocky Mountain Construction, the manufacturer of ArieForce One. Iron Gwazi, Steel Vengeance, Twisted Cyclone and Goliath in addition to the one I'm talking about. All had the lapbars with the shin guards that let you go upside down without over the shoulder restraints. I've never had an issue with these RMC restraints on any of their other coasters that I've ridden. I thought I'd ride ArieForce One a dozen times or so. After one ride I went to ride a go kart track. It was okay nothing special. Came back for a second lap on ArieForce One. Once again I needed a break from it after that. I rode the park's other coasters, an unremarkable wild mouse called Hurricane. Hit the bathroom and took pictures of weird murals on the walls by video games and the food court. Came back for a third lap on ArieForce One. Once again it was exhilarating, exhilarating, more exhilarating then excruciating. I know a lot of coaster freaks are over the moon about ArieForce One - about the only other people riding it were maniacal masochists who were walking roller coaster encyclopedias. And I wouldn't mind working my way up to being a walking roller coaster encyclopedia but to be that I need to be able to walk. Love everything about ArieForce One until those bruising bunny hills at the finale. To me that ride is unmarathonable. Fortunately I did need to make good time on the road and I had lots of other fun things planned on this trip and I knew I would be spending a pretty penny so I didn't much mind the cash I sunk into that wristband. This Fun Spot is just so odd and its marquee attraction has a fatal flaw but I'll still give the place three stars. Here's to knowing when to say when.
