So I've been here five times now with my toddler. Here's a couple of things to note: Don't pay with Apple Pay when you book your stay. You won't be able to use the kiosk to check in and depending on how busy it is, you might end up being in line for 30+ minutes to check in at the front desk. If you have an electric car, have a back up plan to charge your car. They have 4 Tesla chargers and two non-Tesla chargers. I've been told the two non-tesla ones does not work. The Tesla ones work half the time and you need to change the charge to 20amp from your car setting or it would stop charging after 5 minutes. I've also been told they plan to remove all the chargers in the near future so call ahead and ask. Sign up for their newsletter. They often have deals throughout the year and special sale on 8/4 every year. It's a fun place but everything inside is overpriced so expect to spend an extra $100 per night there if you plan on dining there as well. I've seen people pack their own lunch and drinks in a cooler and none of the staff members seem to care. There's also a mini fridge in the room and a microwave and ice machine on every floor. Bring a sweater or warm jacket. Walking out of the water park to air conditioned indoor area can be cold. In my opinion, staying on the first floor has been the more convenient. Especially the morning of checkout. You don't have to wait for the elevator and usually the elevator fills up quickly around checkout time. If you are purchasing miniature golf or bowling, buy the family deal if you have four or more people. The arcade Is a money pit, don't stay here too long or try your best to avoid it. My son loves this place and we keep coming back so they must be doing something right lol the staffs here have always been friendly so no complaints there. read more

Jaylen was was patient, friendly, and helpful. Thank you! Great Wolf Lodge pricing is a bit high, but it's worth the happy smiles you see on your kiddos' faces. Checking in can be kinda crazy if you're here during peak seasons. We're here on the Monday of spring break. It's much more chill if you're able to get here at other times of the year. The parking lot is huge, but you may have to drive around if you're hoping to get a spot near the entrance. The lockers are priced according to size, and you pay one fee for the entire day. It's worth it if you don't want to leave your valuables out on a chair -- if you're lucky enough to even get a chair or table. read more

Went during the week so it was not packed and my kids loved it! On another note don't understand why parking is $19 per night when rooms are expensive as is. I would understand $5 or no charge! We had a wonderful 2 night stay here to celebrate our granddaughter's 4th birthday. Staff went above and beyond to make her feel special. The girls (4 & 5) loved the dance party and the characters. Although we all had fun there were a few things that weren't so great. First of all the paying to park. Paying to park here when there is literally NO where else to park is ridiculous. $19 a day you HAVE to pay. Just add it to the rooms or daily admission price and quit pissing people off. I could see the charge if security regularly patrolled the lot but the DO NOT. No exterior security anywhere. Every time we went to our car we could smell marijuana being smoked. We smoke (cigarettes) so we were out there a lot. I mean EVERY time. Also the parking card/chip readers are WAY too low. My husband had to get out of the Jeep to activate them! Way way way to low! Next would be cleanliness. Especially the floors in the bathrooms. There were hairs in the floor that were definitely not from us. Crud all against the wall in the floor and stuff stuck to the baseboards. It was gross. We had a 2 bedroom suite and both bathrooms were just nasty on the floors. Made me wonder what was in the carpet. Also the outside areas rarely were swept. There was a large piece of metal that was out there for 2 days before I finally picked it up and put it in the trash. Lastly the Barnwood restaurant. What a disappointment! Overpriced, mediocre food. Service was pretty good but food was honestly a step above hospital food. $44 for a steak that was tough, grisly and bland. Save your money and drive 5 minutes to have a delicious steak at Longhorn for $10 cheaper! (or DoorDash it and you'll be much happier) Overall - it was fun. I'd go again. But I highly recommend you bring your house shoes and open a door dash account if you don't already have one. We had the best little getaway trip here. We did a kids cabin room and our group of five had plenty of space. The mini fridge is a decent size, so definitely recommend bringing some drinks and snacks to offset spending extra at the resort. We have also been to the great wolf in NC and this one had a lot of differences that we enjoyed. The staff were awesome for our entire trip! We did the arcade, breakfast buffet, and magiquest. I recommend doing all of those if you go! We loved the waterpark but it did get very crowded around 11-1:00 so go when it opens and enjoy that first hour before it gets busy. This resort had a hot tub while the NC one does not, so that was a great bonus in February weather. Our kiddos did not want to leave this place! We stayed here during our trip to GA. This place is HUGE! And has everything you need to basically not leave. There's dining and shops. There's the water park and arcade and pool and all sorts of fun activities going on all the time for the kiddos to keep them entertained. The staff was SUPER friendly during our stay. And despite it being so large and busy, you really don't hear all of it when in your room which is nice. Rooms are clean and comfortable. They could improve the lighting situation in the bathroom. My only feedback concerns disabled vacationers. They don't have nearly enough disabled parking for the people that vacation here. They also lack people available to help with bags and such. When asked I was told that they don't have that available so we had to unload all of hubs medical supplies and make multiple trips ourselves. Plus park in the far back of the establishment since there was no disabled parking. read more

Our family had a great time! Check-in was quick using the kiosk (about 5 minutes due to others using it), though it was frustrating that the parking assistant seemed selective about who could stay parked--my husband was asked to move while others weren't. Of course this is just my perspective... All staff members greeted us as we walked to our room, which made a great impression. We booked the package with unlimited rock climbing, ropes course, mini golf, and bowling. Only our 6-year-old used the rock wall and golf, which were worth it--she loved the climbing and ropes course! The rest of us probably could've skipped the package. The bunk-bed room was perfect for the kids, especially with their own TV. The water park was amazing--we had to beg them to leave! The food was just okay; it reminded me of stadium food. Luckily, there are several fast food options within a 5-minute drive. We enjoyed the lobby activities, especially the dance party and story time. The app was very helpful for scheduling and navigation. We also bought MagiQuest wands, but our kids weren't interested in the actual game--just the wands. Maybe if they were older. Grabbing an elevator for check out took a little minute but it was check in for a lot of people so we understood and were patient. Complaint: How do you require a person who is in a motorized wheelchair that has ALS to pay $80.00 for a day pass to sit in his wheelchair because he can't be left alone at home and requires caregiver assistance. Ridiculous and I'm surprised someone hasn't filed a lawsuit. When we go to places like Launch, Urban Air, etc., they put a special wristband on him and don't require payment since he is just an observer and unable to participate in the activities. When I called the lady said they accommodate for all disabilities so they have to pay $80 since they could still potentially participate. However, she was unable to tell me how they would accommodate him in his wheelchair without getting the electronics wet since he was wheelchair bound. Any lawyers want to take this on? read more

Our pack loved our stay at the Great Wolf Lodge. The hotel is decorated beautifully for the holidays. The water park had so many fun options to go together as a family and solo. The wolf pass was worth the cost- tasty candy and ice cream, bowling, rock climbing, magiquest, golfing, and our favorite- the ropes course. I wanted to give a shout out to Jana. We had two separate occasions where she assisted us. The first is when we bought candy from the candy store. She made it a fun conversation rather than a transaction, and then again at magiquest. She asked if we were celebrating a birthday and went out of her way to make my son feel special on his day. For the last three summers we have spent a night at this Great Wolf Lodge with our kiddos and here is my review- Clearly, over the last few years things have gone up in price everywhere. The room rates at Great Wolf are expensive. If you can grab a deal when they are on sale that is your best bet. You are going to spend so much more money on food and entertainment while here. We always pack our drinks, snacks, and breakfast. Pro tip- bring a cooler. We have also gone off site for dinner. Food is expensive. To feed a family of five dinner at the pool (Buckets) it was $84 and that included two kids meals. So plan ahead when it comes to food pricing and try to save where you can by bringing it yourself if that is your thing. Next is cleanliness. If you are looking for a well cleaned top of the line room this place is not for you. We have had three different rooms and all of them have had stains, hair on the bathroom floor, a child's footprints on the bed, food crumbs, and most recently a wash cloth and hair tie in the bathtub. These are never the cleanest rooms. I'd say you get what you pay for, but you are paying for that water fun not the place you are sleeping haha. The beds are always feeling like a brick with an overstuffed pillow. The sleep here is mediocre between the hardness of the bed and the amount of excited kids or crying kids. I mean it is a family resort so if that bothers you bring a sound machine. Also, that sound machine with small kids is a must so they sleep! We always do ice cream, the ropes course (for two), and arcade for our youngest at night. We spend right at $90 for that bit of entertainment. They do offer a variety of activities during the day and we always do the 9pm dance party. The little ones love all of the bubbles and excitement. There is a lot more to do like Magiquest, but again keep in mind it is expensive. Overall, we have been there and done that. We have enjoyed the family time the last three years, but decided this was our last trip here. We saw cockroaches while eating dinner by the pool and then the amount of bandaids and people with fungal infections and open sores in the pool really did it for me. I know you can't control the demographic, but seriously not enough chlorine for me for infections and open wounds in pools. We also had to witness (and report) a domestic dispute by our room that made my kids uneasy and scared. If you are looking for entertainment for your kids this may be a great overnight. I would never spend more than a night or two and in all honestly I'd load them up and drive to an awesome beach hotel for the same price (or less) and pay for fun family activities elsewhere. read more

They tell you that no outside food can be brought into the water park. That's fine. I can buy food from their resort. But when you do, they still tell you it's outside food. Half of the employees tell you that outside food is McDonald's or Pizza Hut and that you can take their pizza (bought in property) into the water park. The other half will deny you entry. With every issue we had we were told one thing from one employee and a different thing from another. This is the worst place to be. The app quit updating the dining charges on day 3 and that's where the real trouble began. They charged me an extra $200 for food and when I called to go over this with them they wanted to charge me another $186 and some change. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! read more

I visited the Great Wolf Lodge with my family (party of 3) during fall break 2024! We stayed for three days and two nights and had the Wolf Den Suite. I also opted to purchase the wolf passes at the time that I made the reservation. Arrival was a bit confusing, because there was not clear direction on where to go, and the area near the entrance was full of cars unloading. There is no free parking available and you must have a wristband in order to enter the parking areas. After 10 minutes of circling around, I figured out that it was okay to leave the car by the lobby where people were unloading to check in. Hubby stayed in the car and I went through the check in process which was pretty seamless. The staff was very friendly and went over the free activities, wolf pass and room location instructions. I found out at check in that the cost for incidentals to hold on my credit card would be $100 per night. This is a high amount and would deter me from staying more than 2-3 days, but the amount was refunded back to my card within 2 days of checking out. Parking is also $15 per day (which is not bad coming from Atlanta area). The wolf den suite was perfect for our family of 3 and could easily fit a family of 4-6 with little ones. It included a room within the room that was separate from the sleeper sofa and full size bed (It was not queen sized in my opinion, & definitely not King size bed). My son was so excited to have the top bunk all to himself and his own TV! Note: The "den" area is not separated by a door, but the privacy wall and light options within the room are enough to allow separation with closeness at the same time for the parents. The bed was soft and comfortable. The room was clean. The indoor water park was included with our stay (and with full access the day we checked out as well). The wolf pass was such a great deal because the a la carte options for the activities (single ticket or family of up to 6 people), whether bowling, wall climb, ropes course, mini golf, arcade, magiquest games + accessories, ice cream & candy were VERY expensive. I also liked that I could let my child use activities that I did not want to do. For example, my son did the wall climb activity twice because I did not use it on my pass. I do not recommend purchasing all the activities a la carte unless you have individuals in your party that are not interested in participating in certain games that are included with the pass (i.e ropes course, bowling, wall climb, mini golf etc.) because they end up costing more per person than the wolf pass. The arcade pricing is pretty standard and affordable and the included $5 game card that comes with the wolf pass will allow you to play 2-3 games max. My favorite included activities/perks were the free ice cream scoop (which I was able to use for a ice cream cone), bowling and arcade as well as the indoor water park! My son liked the arcade, bowling and wall climb too, but said he really LOVED to swim. Overall, I would return in the future to go to the indoor water park or stay for one night only simply because a day is enough time to do all the activities listed on the wolf pass without breaking the bank. I also like that you can access the water park & other activities for the full day on the day that you check out of your room as well. I will plan for that the next time. There are also a lot of free activities to do during the day. For example, they offered 9 AM yoga, free trick or treating & candy, for the full month of October from 5-7 and had dance parties in the lobby. I did not encounter any rude staff. Everyone was friendly & accommodating. We truly enjoyed the stay. We spent $0 on restaurants in the Great Wolf Lodge after reviewing other Yelp reviews which said they were overpriced & not worth it. They did have a Dunkin on sight, a food mart where you could pick up quick things like popcorn, sandwiches and salads, as well as a few restaurants adjacent to the waterpark and attractions that sold burgers, chicken tenders, tacos etc. I also felt that the pricing was high and did not want to risk overpaying for subpar food. There was a bar in the middle of the waterpark as well. There is a waffle house not to far from this location as well as a Wendy's, Arby's & McDonalds on the same exit. If you drive a bit further into the city, there is a Cracker Barrell, Chickfila, IHOP, Moe's, Firehouse Subs, Starbucks, Subway & we also had dinner one night at Brickhouse Grille which was delicious! read more

Be prepared to spend an extra $500+. Everything costs extra...the wands you buy to play the magi quest game have to be "activated" for $15. Why not just post the actual price and stop nickel-and-diming people to death. The water park was nice, and most of the staff were absolutely lovely. The ladies checking in folks at night acted like they hated their jobs and everyone who walked in the door. They made me very uncomfortable. The parking lot was in an atrocious state, trash everywhere. There was a dead baby bird on the ground in front of the main doors that stayed there for the duration of our stay. No one bothers to sweep or clean up outside, or help people with their luggage even though the doors are MANUAL. We've been to Great Wolf Lodge many times, and it's one of my son's favorite places to be! We even came here for his birthday once and invited a few friends. We didn't bother with the extra add-on packages and decorated ourselves, which worked out great. We usually visit during Homeschool Weeks when the prices are much more affordable, about half of the normal rates. This year, we came with his Beta Club. While the lodge is fantastic for fun, the food choices leave something to be desired. I don't find their options very healthy. I haven't tried the tacos, but the regular nuggets, burgers, and fries aren't great, especially the fries. I also don't like their honey mustard, so I just bring my own food. We did try the bowling one time, and it was a blast! The slides are always a hit--my son is 15 and still loves coming here. Overall, it's a fun experience, but I recommend bringing your own snacks if you're particular about food. read more

The kids always have fun at the water park, which was the main reason we came. We only stayed one night but were able to use the water park both before check-in and after check-out. We were trying to get the most out of our stay. GWL is pricey, from food to parking to extras, it can add up. The room was very standard and nothing special. One big frustration was that there was no microwave in the room. Since we brought our own food, having to hunt down the vending room just to find a microwave was annoying and inconvenient. Overall, it's a fun spot for kids and the trip was mainly for their entertainment. read more

As a family of 4, we opted to stay overnight. We figured with the price of a day pass, we could add in a few more bucks and not have to leave early and make the 1.5 hour drive back home. We also brought some snacks/easy microwave stuff to offset the price of meals a little bit. Also, we visited during the week which greatly cut down on the amount of people there. Our boys were able to play all day, unfortunately fortunately, and enjoy themselves. My only knock is the restaurant prices. Breakfast prices was nuts. I can say that it was a very fun place. it had all these fun activities that weren't a hazard except for the wave pool. one day I was a this wave pool and I thought it would fun but I was wrong, so let me t you what went wrong. there were these concrete walls on the pool (trust me this is important to the story) because of these walls I hit the wall when the waves came in and got dizzy. the dizziness made me scream and cry because of the pain. Work conference and I had as much fun as a child. The water park was so relaxing after a long sedentary day! I wish I could have enjoyed all the slides but since I went solo I could only ride a few so bring a friend or solicit for someone to ride with you. There was putt putt golf, wall climbing, sky obstacle course, a 4-6 hour scavenger hunt and more. The food at the conference was good no complaints. First things first. The check-in process sucks. You're allowed to check-in early, which is great. Except they just tell you "We'll text you when your room is ready." They do not give an ETA of when that'll be. We arrived at 3 and check-in time starts at 4. We did not get into our room until about 6. There's no good place to park and wait and there's 2 lines with no signage saying which line is for which so you have to hope you get lucky and an employee tells you that you're in the right spot. I do not recommend this for teens. If you have young kids, it'd be great, but my teens did not enjoy the waterpark as much as we'd hoped. The wave pool isn't very deep, the lazy river was like what you would expect at a hotel, and the slides are okay. We did enjoy the basketball area. We had the family suite and it was spacious enough for the 4 of us. I will give them that. Check-out was smooth and overall, despite all the kids, it was quiet in the rooms. The room was pretty clean which was nice. I don't understand $20 a day for parking if it's on the same lot ? I didn't have to pay for parking at the one in washington state. the water park is pretty small compared to Washington's - this one is mostly for smaller kids. the mining was pretty cheap I think $13 for a 3lb bag. other than that things were pretty expensive especially the food. great first time experience at this one but probably won't return since there's many other activities to do that cost a little less. read more

We have now been to great wolf here in GA and last year we went to the one in NC. Things I have to mention are: the magic quest is nothing compared to the one in NC. I feel like we scanned 20 things total and the one in NC we scanned 100. Magic quest is way cooler in NC. I liked the water park here but you almost can't use the lazy river, our kids wouldn't do it even once because it goes under the playground you just get water dumped all over you 70 percent of the time. For kids who don't like that much water on their face it's definitely not fun. The wave pool seemed better at this one. This one does have a hot tub outside you can use while NC has no hottub at all. The rooms here are on one side while everything you do is on the other side and in NC the main floor is in the middle of all the rooms and magic quest is everywhere on all the floors which was way more fun. Overall I would rather go to NC if/when we go back. ALSO, I recommend eating in downtown Lagrange (there's a beautiful fountain in the middle of town) it's only 8 minutes away there are tons of restaurants and even a large outdoor playground, walking track and skate park all together in a fenced in area. The check in process is terrible. Gridlock outside for 40 minutes (and no one from great Wolf Lodge, directing traffic or greeting guests). There are do not leave your vehicle unattended signs everywhere, yet people just parked and got out out of their cars. Probably because there's no clear direction on what you're supposed to do upon arrival. And the parking lots are gated. We tried calling the front desk from the car, no one ever picked up. Once inside another 40 minute wait to check in. Upon check-in, our room is indefinitely, not available. We were offered a coupon for breakfast to make up for the inconvenience. Two hours later, still waiting for our room... The front desk staff was far from friendly. read more

My family decided to go to Great Wolf Lodge for Thanksgiving this year. AFTER I made my reservation and after we put $80 down on the $400 fee for 2 days I was advised that would be a $20 per day parking fee. So that was an extra $40. When we arrived, I was advised that there would be an extra $200 fee for each day. I advised them we didn't have an extra $200 as that was our money to feed my family of 4 for 2 days. They reduced it to $100 and said if we didn't have it they would refund our money and we could leave. We drove 2 hours to get here! So we stayed. I was advised that we would have a room with a patio. Our room does not have a patio. They also didn't tell me prior to making the reservations that the pool closes at 8:00. Worst family vacation EVER and we just checked in. I do NOT recommend Great Wolf Lodge. read more

AFTER I made the reservation and paid the fee, I was advised there was a $20 per day parking fee. When we arrived I was advised we had to pay at check in an additional $100 per day (which we would get back when we checked out) but that was the extra money for my family to eat with for the next two days. They did work with me and reduced it to $100 but it really put a bind on our vacation. now I have to feed a family of four with $100, breakfast lunch and dinner for two days. I was told to either pay the fee, or they would give me back my money, and I could go home. We drove two hours to get here. I was told my room would have a patio. There was no patio. Instead they gave us free breakfast. I am EXTREMELY disappointed and will NEVER EVER come back here. Totally ruined our Thanksgiving and our family vacation. read more

We had an incredible time at great wolf lodge! Staff is so friendly and helpful. Parking was paid which was a bummer but very easy to find spots. Once inside we were immediately greeted and offered assistance for check-in - which we accepted. Although we were a few hours early our room was ready. The room was beautiful - very spacious - very clean - way better than average. The kid area was perfect - very nice touch. The park itself initially didn't look like much but when you get in there's a ton to do for all water comfort levels. The lifeguards are so attentive and a stickler for rules. It felt like a very safe atmosphere. Staying one night did not allow us to participate in the non-water fun, but it seemed very stimulating to the kiddos participating. Definitely worth the expenses if you're able to participate in deal. read more

We stayed the weekend of October 18 for my daughter's 4th birthday, and they both went out of their way to make her feel special. We payed about 70 dollars for late check-out but it still didn't work. We had to wait 10 minutes in line to get another bracelet and the lady at the desk didn't even know what to do. What an awesome experience! We we celebrating one of my G-Babies birthday, so we decided to stay hay Great Wolf Lodge. Omg, my Gbabies were sooooo excited. There was a slight blunder with their reservation system when we were checking in, but all things considered, they had an appropriate amount of staff working, so the wait wasn't horrendous. The lodge is beautiful, our suite was very accommodating for a large family, able to comfortably sleep 8, even though only four of us stayed overnight. The water park was so very fun. My Gbabies got absolutely worn out! There are lots of activities, something pretty much for any comfort level. We spent the day enjoying the activities of the water park. There are lots of other activities, but our focus was the water park. We'll venture to the other activities next time...another bday is coming up in July. Oh and the customer service was pretty spot on too....but note, the food is very pricey! We ordered takeout, but had to eat in the suite, which was fine & more reasonable! read more

Overall, the trip was great. Check-in was a disaster because the room wasn't ready when we arrived at 4:30 p.m. It took roughly 2 hours to get our room assignment, so when had to lug our luggage around when we walked somewhere. We could've left our luggage in the car, but parking wasn't exactly close to the entrance and there were people everywhere! The food was average. Everyone enjoyed the attractions and we loved the fact that the children ( two 12-year olds) could walk the property (mostly indoors) without direct supervision. TERRIBLE!!! Let's start with check in . . . upon checking in I was to be greeted with Happy Birthday (it didn't happen). Up to the room I go and the carpet smelled so bad I had to use a can of lysol to try and kill the bacteria and germs lurking. There is no microwave in the room (it's down the hall), there's no paper to write on or pen to write with, no ironing board or iron. The bathroom has no exhaust and there is no sink, you have to open the door and walk to the sink to wash your hands which means the door handle had to be constantly sanitized. The phone was unplugged and communicating with the front desk was unbearable due to the static in the connection, once I connected it. This place is totally overpriced! I was charged for the first day in which check in time is 4PM (that's more than half the day gone), and everything closes at 8PM. So by the time you check in, unpack, get situated (spraying lysol and such), it's after 6PM and you're unable to enjoy anything because they're shutting down. If while you're there, you purchase food, please do not have high expectations of the quality. I have never been treated so poorly at a high end restaurant (located inside) I'm talking $$$ prices. My food came out cold (it had to be sent back), and the server said "oh well I've been taking care of that table with 15 people). Salt and pepper were not on the table and servers had to be flagged down if anything was needed because my server was not available. Never again! We walked into a beautifully decorated lodge that looked magical - all decorated for Xmas. Our family waited over 2 hours for our bunk bed room (booked for my daughter's birthday). When we got to the room it had been smoked in and we could not take the room over. I told the manager on duty and she said she was giving us a free night and was placing an Ozone machine in the bunk room so that we could take it over the next day. We were moved to a double "family room" for that first night. I was told that I should keep both sets of keys and check on the bunk room myself the next day. I found this a bit odd b/c Ozone machines are sorta dangerous and I was given access to one running in a room.... I checked on the bunk room the next day and an ozone machine had been dropped off but never plugged in by housekeeping. The room still smelled heavily of smoke. My daughter was super upset at this point as it was clear we could not have this room for her birthday. I went back to the front desk and told new staff members what had happened the night before. A young man moved around a bunch of people and said that we could stay in the room that we were in now (I asked not to be moved again) and he would give us an additional 50% off our nightly stays. (We had already booked with a coupon TRIPLEFUN that did this...so this downgrade was not of value to us). At check out our bill was completely wrong. The first night had not been free. Additionally, we were charged three times for my daughter's wolf pass. I explained the billing issues with staff at check out and was quizzed about "what did the staff member's look like" that gave you these discounts?? As a former service worker I'm horrified. I waited over two hours and was given an obviously unacceptable room. Then I was moved around and it was left to me (the customer) to see if the room was fixed the next day. Proper notes were never placed in the computer system to make it clear of the intentions of management to "make it right". When I called today to check on my invoice (despite being told someone would call me) I was hatefully told that "you basically did get a free night with that discount" - but it was the TRIPLEFUN discount that I booked with originally - I've not been given anything for all this trouble. I'm still fighting to get the correct bill. On top of ALL of this: my child did not receive her food at the fancy restaurant and I was told by the server "this is my first night, I forgot to ring in food at a lot of tables. I don't know if I can take it off the bill." When ordering a bottle of wine - "do you want glasses with the wine bottle?" - WHAT? Like...what else would we do? Drink straight out of the bottle? Really good experience. It is very expensive and I'm not sure I can honestly say you get a good value for your money. Every staff member is really nice but when asking questions I never got a confident response. The front desk seem well trained though so I normally just go to the front desk to ask my questions. Food options are expensive and ok. Pretty much like any zoo or theme park. The room was clean for the most part... it was just pretty dusty and messed with my wife's allergies. We never that issue any other hotel. They have a lot of events to attend. They had Santa stop by for pictures and to ask kids what they want for Christmas. It's def just a one and done type thing. They offer EV charging. But they do absolutely nothing to enforce that only EVs can park there. I had to find someone in their car and convince them to leave so I could get power for my journey home. Also, my kid's wand didn't work the last time I went. It used to be that your wand still worked on decorations that light up and make a sound. So the kids were out on fall break and we needed something to do, so we decided to visit the Great Wolf Lodge. For years I was thinking about coming here and we finally did. The Great Wolf Lodge is literally out in the middle of nowhere in LaGrange, so if you are coming from the Atlanta area expect to drive at least around 1 hour and 20-30 minutes, roughly 70-80 plus miles depending on exactly where you are. This place is more age appropriate for kids about 4-12. Though kids 12-16 will enjoy the large slides with tubes. The rooms here do not have a microwave but do have a mini frig for all those who are wondering. A lot of parents chill at the bars and they do have fast and free internet for those who are working remotely while their older aged kids are playing. For those on a budget, this is not your place. Honestly, Great Wolf Lodge costs about the same as Universal Studios/Disney World/Seaworld but is nothing in comparison. It's crazy to see people are dropping a few grand here on a weekend, but that's their business. [Pool Area] The water slides here are great, but to enjoy those fully you probably should be at least 6-7 years old. They do have two great kid areas for those under 6. Please just make sure you are watching your young kids even though they do have excellent lifeguards and have free life jackets for kids to wear. I saw a few youngsters just running around unsupervised. The wave pool area is fun, and outside they have a nice sized hot tub. The pool area temps are probably about 80 degrees, if only they were a little warmer. [Check In] Checking in here was pretty easy, took about 20 minutes because they were packed. They just ask for your driver's license and the credit card you used to book your stay. Instead of being given a keycard, they give you and your family a bracelet that has an RFID chip that you just tap on your door knob and it unlocks your door lock, which is awesome. No lost keycards. [Activities] During our stay, they were giving kids Halloween candy around the outside pool area. This was cool. They do have a lot of shops, games, and activities kids can do but they are WAY overpriced. If you visited Universal Studios you will recall the Harry Potter Interactive Wands. The Great Wolf Lodge has similar wand stations throughout the lodge where kids can interact with their wands, these things cost anywhere between $30-60 each and only work here of course. They have an arcade here, but each game is roughly $4 to play. [Food] Expect to make $15 for a salad, $14-16 for a burger, and $3 for a soda. A family of 5 can easily spend about $150-300 just to eat here a day. Based on reviews and talking to people, the food here is not worth it. You are better off buying a pizza from outside and bringing it here, or just eating at the WaffleHouse/Wendy's down the street for 80% less. [Hotel Room] Overall our room was clean. The shower was great. The kids enjoyed the room, but is it worth $380 to $500 a night? Definitely not. It's about as basic as a standard Hilton hotel room you would find for about $150 a night. [Service] Overall service was good. We needed extra blankets and through their Great Wolf APP, I sent a message within 20 minutes someone brought blankets to our room. [Checkout] Very easy, they send a link to your phone through their automated system (Willow) and you just click the link to checkout. That's it. Overall a fun experience, just way too overpriced. $15 just to use a locker in the pool area and $200 to have a pool cabana. Wolf Lodge needs to pay their staff better. One of the lifeguards I saw was helping to clean bedrooms and take out trash from the hotel the following day. This really upset me... Seriously? This Great Wolf Lodge has 400 rooms on the weekend at $500-800 a night, expensive food, and all they can pay is $13 an hour. No wonder why they are short-staffed. Blackstone owns them, they can afford to pay more. It appears they hire lots of high schoolers so they can pay as little as possible. Is it worth a trip again? Maybe, but never on a weekend. Would it be worth a drive just to use their pool only? The cost is $75 per person (age 2 and up), so just 5 people would cost over $400 with taxes. So overall, it's better to stay a night.
