Incredible experience! Informative, interesting, and humbling. Highly recommend! The extremely knowledgeable tour guide shared a plethora of information, bringing the biblical world to life (Though children might become bored during the tour)

They serve food that they believe would have been on the table for the Last Supper and typical Passover's.

This is not the best place to bring a kid. I'll talk more about that, but I thought I'd say it first in order to help answer the number one question on someone's mind. They are accommodating to children. Yes, but it isn't a place where kids will have an exciting time. In fact, they may find it boring. I don't say that with the least criticism or complaint. What they have here is stories to tell, artifacts, and history. It's a very interesting place to come if you want to learn. If you want an exciting time, this is not the place for you. Now they do have a playground area where children can learn how to dig for artifacts. And they do have a class to teach making the bread, which resembles Mexican style flour tortillas. I forget the name for it. Naan maybe. You have to sign up and schedule this with a group though and none were available for us. In fact, we were the only ones with a child, and ours was 3 years old. Vern is such a nice guy and very knowledgeable. He was our tour guide. He talks and tells stories. It is evident that he has been telling these same stories for years and has added many things to them. He talks fast. He is a good story teller and he is funny and interesting, but he talks fast and you have to listen fast. So after explaining how bomb proof their building is, he takes us through a locked door where actual artifacts are displayed behind glass. We all crowd around in front of each window while he explains what each of them are. They protect this part of the museum and nobody is allowed inside without strict supervision. Then we go eat our meal, which was supposed to represent the typical setting that a Passover or the Last Supper might have been, and are served food that is typical of the day. During this meal, we were seated with the same group of people who went through the artifact museum. We were not able to talk much, as this experience was just listening to more of Vern's stories for about an hour. Halfway though the meal, my 3 year old was having trouble keeping herself entertained, so I gave her my phone to play games on, to lessen the chance she would disrupt the group. As for the food itself, this was not particularly a great meal. It was expensive and I made the joke that they sure did eat expensive food back then. It's not so much supposed to be a great meal as it is a learning opportunity and a way to experience Jesus's and the disciples' lives. In that regard, I was disappointed. Food was served on modern dishes instead of handmade pottery. Food didn't appear to have been cooked on an open flame. It just didn't seem authentic. Vern did explain that they have to meet modern laws and conform to the health department, so that just took all the realness out of it. After our meal, we went outside into the yard where there were replicas of this and that. Tents, wine press, olive press, water wheel, a house, and other such things. Vern stopped at each one telling stories and explaining things. My little one was as good as she could be, for as long as she could be, but she was in no mood to stay quiet and listen to stories anymore. I was able to lead her ahead of the group and walk around with her outside in order to keep from disrupting the group. I would very much have liked to listen to more of Vern's stories, but from a 3 year old's perspective, it just wasn't a fun place to be. I might add that although this is a Christian place, teaching things about Christianity, it was not necessarily a religious place or a religious service. It was purely historical and informative. I would like to someday go back and learn more.

I stopped by this place on my way back to Houston. As far a biblical centers go, this one is a must visit. It ties in actual scriptures with the recreation of archeological sites and artifacts. This place is spectacular, and I definitely recommend visiting at least once in your lifetime.

This visit was amazing! I was staying near by and passed a sign headed to the hotel. I stopped in with my grandma and we both enjoyed ourselves. Our tour guide was full of knowledge and poured it out on us. We learned so much! The center itself is so well designed that it was a hot summer day, but we remained comfortable. The exhibits were so realistic! I would recommend it to anyone looking to learn or even just put the words of the Bible with actual structures.

This is an interesting site and our docent was knowledgeable. This environment is most difficult for those in a wheelchair to negotiate.

We were set to arrive early but got dropped off in the wrong spot by or Uber driver. We got help from staff at their own site daycare center and everyone was so friendly and hospitable that a shuttle service was radioed to pick us up and dropped us off in-front of the building where the tour was scheduled -- TOTAL SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY HANDS DOWN! FIRST: We checked in with security upon arrival and received a radio and lanyard. SECOND: We were brought into a room with other guests for an opening movie where we got to hear a bit of back story on the company. Our Tour Host: Evan Hodges was GREAT & Very Informative!!! THIRD: LET THE TOUR BEGAN!!! Saw the Test Kitchen and "the Nest" which is their training center. Got to see Chick-fil-A's History Museum which included old school cars and the Original BAT MOBILE!!! LASTLY: We were guided through Truett's office, saw a Closing Movie and Visited their Gift Shop! It was an unforgettable time that I was honored and grateful to have experienced such a storytelling experience inspired by the life and vision of Chick-fil-A's founder, S. Truett Cathy. It was hard to make friends (keep in mind, I am social type of person) and do the things I love. I met Steve on Facebook. He was so kind and you could tell from his posts, that he just wanted to help people. I finally reached out to him and attended an event. It was an event that was the beginning to my "normal." It was the first event I attended and honestly was a bit nervous bc I have been to "meet-up" groups and well they weren't all pleasant experiences. Everyone was so nice, inviting, down to earth just good people.
