Was visiting Helen for the day with some friends for Oktober fest, and needed a break from window shopping - along came Georgia Mountain Coaster! This was such a fun ride and honestly was the highlight of my visit to Helen. Tickets were reasonable - $17 per rider. The coaster seats either 1 or 2 people (so you can double up if you'd like or have kids). Make sure to bring a hair tie - they will make you put your hair up if it's long! Wait time was a bit long, maybe 45 mins to an hour, but that is expected for a busy Oktoberfest day. Must-do in North GA!

There aren't many mountain coasters around. Riding in the coaster is exciting and a lot of fun. The experience is Definitely cool and kids will love it! The staff didn't seem happy to be there. The line was so long and the carts were getting stuck. They could have been more attentive to getting a thing to move smoother. It took a while for people to start moving them forward. Cool experience but just wish the staff was a little better.

Walk right up to this Mountain Coaster, it's only 17.00. So enjoyed and a great place to visit in Helen GA. Tip if walking be prepared to put your stuff in a locker if parking lock it up. No bags, phones anything on the ride. Price very fair for the ride. Enjoy

My husband and I rode the Georgia Mountain Coaster today and had an absolute blast! It was such a fun and unique way to take in the mountain views. We laughed the whole time and loved that you can control your own speed it made the ride even better. Super smooth, well-run, and definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

We were looking for something exciting to do and came upon this outline poster. Such a cool and exciting one person ride or you can ride with a kid with a weight limit through the mountains in Helen Georgia. The cost is reasonable. The staff is great and they keep the line moving so even though it's long, it goes pretty quick Definitely something to do while visiting the area.

The kids had the BEST TIME - so did the adults. It was over with very very quickly so it helped to have a 50% discount off the 2nd ride Because you get to control your speed - it was perfect for kids

NO BAGs / shoulder length hair up in a bun. Short but fun. Was worried about more vista views. It was all in the forest under the canopy. Don't get this review wrong. It's fun. But of a thrill. The workers are bored with tourists. They put on a brave front, but you can see it on every face. Tourist town bucket list item - check.

The Georgia Mountain Coaster was definitely fun and pricing was decent, but the ride is not long. We did a similar coaster in Jamaica that was at least triple the length, this was a bit disappointing from that standpoint. We waited in line for 1.5 hours for a 3 minute ride. I would highly suggest buying the 2nd ride for half off; the really nice part is that they don't make you get off the ride, you just stay on and do it again so no waiting in line again. We did enjoy this and would recommend anyone trying; even our daughter (who's 7) loved it.

I saw this coaster highlighted on social media so many times and each time I wanted to go more and more so I'm soooo happy I finally got to go! Be prepared to wait forever. The line gets pretty long and you'll likely be waiting in the sun for some time before you get to the shaded areas. There's a shop with water & drinks to keep you cool and snacks to munch on as you wait. The snacks in the store were a life saver as I visited with two toddlers. My husband and I both went with our two older girls and I was relieved that they let us wait at the front of the line while the other went and came back to stay with the babies. The line was long and hot but it went by pretty quickly. To me, it was absolutely worth it. For a family of 4 we spent about $64 which felt a bit steep but I was just really happy to be able to go one the the coaster I felt it was a good spend for experience. The ride up the mountain was nice and relaxing. I loved the scenery around me and the feeling of anticipation as we got closer to the top. Once we got to the top and released our breaks I legit felt like I was flying thru the trees. Only thing I would change is the people in front of us were going a bit too slow for our liking I would've wanted to go down even faster!! I was not about to wait in that line again so I didn't consider buying a second ticket but if you do decide to it's half off which would be fun to do on a next trip with more time. This was definitely a bucket list experience for me and I'm so glad I got to do this!

Ive wanted to do a mountain coaster for a long time and I'm so happy I finally took the time to try this! It was so fun! I felt like a child again. It's a little soendy at $18, but if you do it again the same day, it's half price! It's fast but you can use breaks to slow down. It's not too bumpy. I recommend it for the young (with an adult) - all the way up to anyone who may still enjoy a roller coaster. My sisters and i loved it!

This business is located directly on N. Main Street near the center of town except it is about 50 feet above the street. Georgia Mountain Coaster is on a hill that you can walk up a series of steps to get to or drive up to their parking lot. Up there is a ticket center/gift shop that also sells drinks and some snacks. Adult tickets are $17 for one ride and then 1/2 off for subsequent rides. You get into your cart and put on the 3 point seat belt (just like the front seats of your car) and then begin a slow climb to the top of the .6 mile track. That takes 3 minutes and then it's downhill for another 2 minutes to the finish. You regulate your own speed with a hand brake and I didn't use mine and went quite fast through the sharp turns. The descent is very safe no matter how fast you go. Even so, I decided not to repeat as I didn't think it would be worth it. I would have been more excited if this ride was less $. Maybe $10-$12 is more fair. It is for only that reason I give a 3 score. It is OK and most people will find it exciting. Riding the coaster is something to do while in Helen.

Amazing first experience. Don't expect a full rollercoaster ride, but it has a scenic view from the mountain with brakes. Being mindful of others, your able to fully break your coaster, but it is a few minutes of you decide to go full speed. I would come back with a group!

We went an hour and a half out of our way to visit The Lost Sea…read more After the experience, I'd do it again. This isn't just a cave tour. It's an underground adventure. The journey takes you about three-quarters of a mile through the cavern at a comfortable 58 degrees, so bring a light jacket unless you enjoy pretending you're on an episode of Survivor: Chilly Cave Edition. The climb back out is roughly the equivalent of 14 stories, though there are three scheduled rest stops to remind you that oxygen is still available. Like many attractions, your experience depends heavily on the guide. Ours, Sam, was knowledgeable and professional, but more matter-of-fact than entertaining. The information was there; the excitement wasn't always. Fortunately, the real star of the show doesn't need a microphone. The underground boat ride across the second-largest known underground lake is absolutely fascinating. Gliding through the darkness while seeing rainbow trout swimming in waters hidden beneath the mountains is one of those experiences that's genuinely hard to describe until you've seen it yourself. The cavern is also packed with history, but I'll let your guide tell those stories rather than spoil part of the adventure. One bonus: they offer free-roaming spelunking areas for those who want to do a little exploring on their own. Five stars. Unique, memorable, and absolutely worth the detour. Some attractions are tourist traps. The Lost Sea is something you'll actually remember.

The inflatable island and obstacle course looks great as well. We got the season pass and plan to return to try all that Margaritaville at Lanier Islands has to offer. Lastly, the snack shops are excellent and have great customer service and ice creams available. The souvenir shop seems like it's well stocked as well. I have nothing to fault Margaritaville for and consider this a 4.1 star rounded up because it's summer. Thank you to the staff and Lanier Islands for having such an awesome water park so close to home. 5 stars!

While we always look forward to spending time at the park, I was disappointed by its overall condition. Many of the water slides had visible mildew on them, and I also noticed mildew on the metal roof of one of the snack shacks. More concerning, I witnessed a young teenager nearly step on a nail protruding from the concrete while waiting in line for the four slides that share the same platform. This poses a serious safety hazard and should be addressed immediately. We also tried to relax in the sand area beneath the awning above the beach, but it was clear the area had not been raked or cleaned this season. The sand was covered with sticks, leaves, acorns, and other debris, making it feel neglected. I hope this review reaches the appropriate person who can address these issues. The water park is a wonderful facility with so much potential, and I would hate to see it fall into disrepair.

The attendant just lets the demon goblin go ahead but even after climbing, hitting the buzzer, she continues letting them climb for well over 20 mins. I say something at 1st she's acting like she don't know or remember. Huh? Why would I be upset her jumping in front of me? You stood there while her parents were adamant she was going ahead of me. The managers like I mean I can throw you like $7 on an arcade card which was pretty insulting considering I paid 25 and only did go carts once a $9 value. Rather discouraging makes you not even wanna do anything there at all. Here's a pic of my kid getting to have the fun I paid for though. Sure wish I couldve just got to enjoy my Friday night. This was after she scolded me in front of the whole party for looking in the cabinet after she left the room with the lighter for the birthday candles. She was not very personable with my daughter at all and could have told my daughter that she could eat her birthday cake at one of the many other tables / booths in the place. (It was not busy yet at all) I still ended up paying full price for the birthday party but I was offered a game card to spend there as an apology I guess. Wouldn't recommend, and have such better party experiences in less room time elsewhere. Overpriced for such a terrible experience

Andretti's in Buford is basically a playground for adults disguised as a sleek entertainment complex. The space feels modern and high-energy, with neon lighting, polished concrete, glowing game zones, and that constant hum of excitement from the arcade floor and track. It's part adrenaline, part date night, and part "we are absolutely children and proud of it." We spent the evening bouncing between arcade games, fully embracing our competitive sides. The ticket machines kept spitting out proof of our triumphs, and after a heroic run of wins, we cashed in for the ultimate symbol of arcade victory: a lava lamp. Nothing strengthens a relationship like carrying a glowing tube of molten nostalgia to the car. The atmosphere is lively without feeling chaotic, making it easy to laugh, play, and celebrate small victories together. Staff were friendly, the games were in great shape, and the entire place runs with the efficiency of somewhere that understands people came to have fun, not stand around waiting. If you're looking for a Valentine's date that swaps candlelight for neon glow and roses for arcade tickets, Andretti's delivers. We left with a lava lamp, sore cheeks from laughing, and the comforting knowledge that our relationship can survive friendly competition.

I ordered everything. Drinks didn't come out so I had to ask the host to order the drinks and he was nice enough to oblige. 30 min goes by. I haven't seen our server anywhere. Completely disappeared. There are tons of orders sitting there under a heat lamp. People looking like they're just waiting. For what? For the food to be ready? Well there it is! People keep coming and going into this employee entrance looking like they're busy doing something important but I wonder what. Finally our server appears to ask "how are we doing"? Huh? What about the food? She says she'll check on it. It was just sitting there under a heat lamp for god knows how long. Now all dried out. Advice to manage: get this place sorted out. Come up with efficient processes to get food out to people ASAP. Dedicated food runners who run our food as soon as it's ready. Something! Oh and the best employee there was the bartender. He was manning the bar AND busing people's tables, getting their checks. Props to him!

Which was sad because we were supposed to be there to celebrate my son's 13th birthday. He was excited to try this place out. We drove over an hour to be disappointed. First we walk in an hour after opening on a Sunday, place was empty.......we walk right up to the counter and I tell the girl that I had looked the pricing up online and I knew I wanted to do the 3 race, game card, and k1 membership pass for 3 boys. She gave me a blank stare and then said oh you mean 2 race. Ok. Rude. But ok yeah that. She proceeds to ask the boys had they ever been there before. 1 of my sons friends says yes. So she goes you need to go check him on the computer with a waiver first because he has a membership so you won't pay for that part for him. Here I am thinking oh she is being helpful after being wrong. I smile. We go to computers do the waiver for 1 boy as instructed. We go back to the counter now 2 more groups have come in. We have to wait behind 1 group now since there is only one cashier/check in person although there were at least 5 other staff in the building including a manager. Anyway after we wait for that group to check in. I step back to the counter and THEN she proceeds to tell me oh you didn't do the waiver for the other two. I'm like you told me to do it only for the one that had been here before. So again we step out of line and go BACK to the computers. At this time I'm starting to get annoyed. By this time more people are coming in, so now my boys will have to wait behind several big groups when we arrived before ALL of these people. When I finally get back to the counter.....all boys are checked in. She got RUDE again. And wanted to loudly explain pricing to me and make sure I knew that the boys only got a $10 game card for what I was about to pay. Like VERY loud. I didn't hear her do this with any of the other groups that checked in before us and I hate to say this.......none of them were my complexion. Never once was I rude or matching her volume or tone. We actually walked in that place happy because we were supposed to be celebrating. Well anyway it didn't stop there. Once we got checked no instructions were given on what to do next outside of the girl at the counter giving me my receipt and their game cards. So my boys walked over to where you line up to go on the track and yet another employee was RUDE to them by telling them to back away from the gate and wait for someone to call them. They are EXCITED to be here Jeesh, so then after she yells at them they come over to me saying they not going to let her ruin the joy. They finally get called to race and all the boys are overwhelmed after the employees stopped the cars several time or slowed their speed down all during the race. Then in between their first and second race we went to their "arcade" which only has 12 games......which none of them are less than 40 credits for 1 game. $10 gets you 200 in credits. While one of the boys was in the process of playing a game they got called back for their 2nd race. It was EVEN worse than the first one. We decided to opt out of trying their food and went somewhere else to grab lunch. 0 stars would not recommend.
