    Jerk wings and French fries
    Olga M.

Came out for a dinner with colleagues during a conference. We had a great time. Our server was attentive, and funny. The food was the bomb. I will be craving these Jamaican jerk wings. They were spicy but oh so good! The views were amazing too. Enjoyed the view of the lake during the sunset.

Chaotic cruise ruined by drunk, obnoxious guests. Crew ignored it and kept pouring. Total disaster.

WG Aquatic is best of the ATL aquatic center options we've experienced through the past decade. Two pool areas, including competition swim/dive areas, allow for team competitions and practices. Space abounds for personal workouts and lessons as well. While you're here for water sport, take a deep breath (above water) and notice the fresh air! WG Aquatic has figured out we mostly prefer oxygen to chlorine, and their fresh air system (not the official name) works. Spacious shower/changing rooms and roomy pool decks allow you some elbow room, and the upper-deck stands give spectators a great vantage point to see their favorite swimmer shave a second off that PR. The secondary pool area is a little warmer and gives space for personal workouts while the main lanes are hosting team practices. And regardless you'll have year-round swim options here. If we didn't live in the hinterlands across the city, we'd enjoy frequenting for water adventures.

There are two components to this facility, as the name suggests - the park and the aquatic center…read more As for the park side of things, I wouldn't say this is one of the county's more scenic parks. There are several playing fields for team sports. There is also a quarter mile track that encompasses one of the fields. Our most recent visit was in January, a cooler winter day. One field had a couple of guys playing soccer. Another field had a guy setting up for what looked like drills of some sort. My family and I enjoyed a stroll around the track to just get outside and move a bit. One side of the track borders the parking lot; the other borders an industrial facility of some sort. Again, not particularly scenic, but if you need a track for exercise, it certainly gets the job done! The aquatic facility is pretty impressive. We have not used it, but I have received a tour of the facility. My tour did not include the changing rooms and showers. The indoor pools looked sizeable and were not too crowded on the day of my visit. But for me, the most impressive area was the outdoor swimming area. Lots of slides and fountains and fun. Looks like a great place for a day of leisure and play. We will definitely be back to enjoy one day in the summer!

It was semi difficult hike just because we live in Florida and use to live in Illinois (AKA Flatland), but we did it. The easiest way to this is from the parking lot, walk to the left and walk down the stairs. Keep walking on the boardwalk and watch for holes in the boardwalk. When the boardwalk is done, keep walking and then you will come to trees, the trees have steps made from the trees, & carefully watch your step and go down. I actually scooted my butt down and then climbed the tree steps. It was not bad, just something I'm not accustomed to. You will see the water and rocks moving and it is just so beautiful. People walk through and sit in the water and take pics. Be careful when you walk through it can be slippery. We had water shoes. Water is so refreshing. We actually walked the long way, which is walking to the right of the parking lot to the start of the boardwalk. We didn't want to walk down the stairs bc they looked pretty steep. It really is amazing. I'd say you will be here about an hour or two. Parking is free and there are a bunch of signs you need a fishing license. Which we don't have. We just parked And walked!
