Boot Barn Hall - What a great venue!

    Boot Barn Hall

This was our first concert at this venue but I really like it. I love how small and intimate it is…read more The sound is good quality and I noticed the sound guys reworking it all night to make sure we were getting the best experience. The service was good, the drinks were mostly good(we had a couple of the same drink that came to the table and they were not equal pour) but overall great experience. They have some really cool seating areas outside with fire pits to keep you warm. WE WILL BE BACK!

DON'T sit in the balcony for a concert. They seat 8 people to a large table, which is nice, you have a bunch of room. But no one at the table can see the stage if you are seated. Some people had to turn their chairs completely around and some people had to get up and stand at the balcony edge the entire time. Decent sound ( it was loud enough ) but couldn't hear what the singer was actually singing. I don't know if that is a band thing or a venue thing. The service was excellent, but we just purchased drinks. I have an issue with the bathroom. The stalls are so small in the women's bathroom that you have to STEP PAST the toilet to close the door. When you stand up after going, you have to back up to the side of the toilet to open the stall door. So uncomfortable! And THEN, wash your hands and there is no paper anywhere near the sinks! You have to walk to the door to get paper to dry your hands. So if you had to put your purse in between your knees to wash your hands, you will have to grab your purse with wet hands to get over to the towels to dry your hands.

Had some trouble with the hot water but water got hot after a good while. Good location in terms of getting around town and to some of the surrounding cities, and very close to the lake.

In addition, there was no in room coffee maker for early morning coffee without sending me down to the breakfast area for coffee (by the way very bitter). The room had a refrigerator, microwave, and iron. It seems to me that the two items that were missing would have gotten a lot more use than the microwave. After our travels we wanted to clean up but we found that the locked down soap and shampoo dispensors in the bathtub were empty. In addition the water pressure was so low (water saving setting I presume) that the water only came out in a slow dribble and was mostly unuseable. Trash bags were draped over the trash cans, making us install the trash bags ourselves. We went to sit on the beds and found them so high that our feet could not touch the floor (I am 6'2" and my toes could barely touch). The toilet seat was super low, I assume for people in wheelchairs however for a person with bad knees it was very difficult to navigate. The breakfast the first morning was seemingly planned to have just about nothing in abundance. The eggs and the bacon ran out; they replaced them but even with limited guests it ran out again. When they refilled the bacon they put 6 to 8 pieces in the tray. they were gone almost immediatly and stayed empty while I was there. The physical facility was fine but it seems the management cut every corner that could be cut. I have stayed in hotels all over the world from the absolute best, to hotels in the Arctic without heat and just a lot of blankets. This hotel at best is a disappointment. The way this hotel is run is a true example of management cutting so many corners that it drives away guests; it is truly not worth the $170.00 per night that they charged, I have had more satisfaction and a better experience staying at a Motel 6. I like many others, I seldom leave reviews; however this hotel pretending to be an upscale facility is deserving of my time due to the many glaring defiencies. Several mediocre aspects would never cause me to to leave a negative review, it is only the truly deserving that typically cause me to respond on Yelp. This hotel will not see another penny of my money. I would urge people considering a stay here to look elsewhere, there are many nearby options.

We selected this hotel based on…read morevarious site's 4+ average ratings and the desire to burn Marriott points before we lost them. The staff was friendly. This hotel is a little tired/worn though. I think a little attention to detail could overcome some of these things, e.g., our bathroom had a dead bulb the night we checked in and the nice note written by housekeeping was on a tablet with a coffee spill. The next day another bathroom light bulb went out so I had to ask for two bulbs. The next night the tv wouldn't turn off so we had to unplug it but then in the morning the tv would comeback on after we plugged it back in. The fitness room was closed for much of our stay due to an HVAC problem but guests could use the Marriott Townsuites fitness room (the hotels have adjoining parking g lots). The breakfast service was back to normal/pre-COVID and they have an A (99 out of 100) health inspection rating. There is a laundry on the second floor with generously sized washer and dryer, which was $3 per wash and $3 per dry. Some evenings there was fresh chocolate chip cookies in the lobby. The internet signal was good. My husband and I both worked remotely on a few days of our stay and had no trouble with video calls, email, etc. I don't think if we're in the area that we'd stay here again.
