Enjoyed this breath of fresh air event place, we opted for the obstacle course for the kiddos allowing them to run off some energy from the rainy days, this place has it all for the entire family. Water sports, wake boarding, corn hole, connect four, concession stand on site. I'd rate this place 5/5 however the only down fall was trying having little to none of a changing space other than that we had a blast. read more

This wake park is a great concept. However just like any other entertainment, crowds tend to kill the experience. I called before hand to find out how long do beginners need to wait in between turns. The Phone attendant said not long, just a few min. That is not the case at all. In fact when you book sessions, they show availibity of 10. This is deceiving. They allow 10 non members and 12 members for each sessions. The wait time at full sessions is between 15-17 min on the beginner line. Beginners tend to only stay on for 5-10 seconds. This allows for only 8 turns in the two hour session. Had we been given proper information, we would have planned to come during a non-peak time. I highly recommend a lesson regardless of age. The beginner line does have staff but you need to know the bases to get up and going. read more

I brought my son here today for the first time. I was wowed! The staff is so engaged and helpful! It was my sons first time. Numerous staff members offered assistance and were giving him tips the entire day. I recommend the day pass because they will not want to leave! There was activities for my 6 year old to do while we watched and also a snack bar. No outside food was allowed but you can pack a cooler for the car. Also Chick-fil-A is right next door. Went yesterday and it was sunny with some clouds in the distance. Went to the front desk and bought our passes. We walked outside and saw no one in the water and was told they were currently closed due to lighting in the area. Went back inside to see if they anticipated opening again soon and told they weren't sure because a storm was moving in. I then asked for a refund since we weren't going to be able to use the passes and were told we could only get a raincheck. I understand you can't control the weather, but why on earth would you sell passes knowing full well you're not currently open without at least letting the customer know so they can make an informed decision. Super disappointed in the customer service here and a waste of $150 read more

Summer of 2021 A friend and I went to the Aqua Park yesterday morning and had a BLAST! All of the staff were super friendly and helpful- the sprinklers are a fun addition as well I also loved seeing all the different seating areas. Here are a couple of ideas to make the experience even better: 1) Water shoes to rent or buy would be helpful (or just requiring people to have a pair before they come) since the inflatables get so slippery 2) Putting ladders in the water to make it even easier for people to get on the obstacles (just like ladders that are attached to the back of boats to help people get on and off) We'll definitely be coming back next summer!! Update, summer of 2022: My friend and I came back yesterday and it was a completely different experience this year (not in a good way). The two guys working at the aqua park refused to turn on the sprinklers when I asked; one guy said they were broken. I guess that was a lie since they decided to turn them on at noon for the next session. My friend and I were still there just chilling and drying off. At least one of the guys was nice and sprayed one of the water slides down before I got on. The second slide towards the back was so dry and hot. I rode down and really burned part of my legs and bottom. It's great that the aqua park is cheaper than White Water or any other water park, but I guess you get what you pay for this place is probably known for their wake boarding so it's no surprise that the aqua park isn't taken care of. I guess this is the last time we'll be coming unless there are improvements I would give this place a 2.5 rating read more

What an awesome idea and an even better idea launching it in the new Lake Point sports arena location. This place initially got my attention as I was driving by. When I saw what looked like cable lines and a few crane like structures I had to pull over to see what was going on. I couldn't believe my eyes! Terminus is a cable pull wake board park that is open daily (weather permitting), with equipment for rent and all the cool jumps and people that cheer you on even if you fall down? Where do I sign up!? The prices are cheaper than I expected. 2 hours is only $35! They rent out wet suits, wake boards, helmets, life vests and even offer lessons. My favorite part is the launch off area. I've never held on to the handle so hard in my life! You're given a count down and are gently lifted off the platform as you skim on to the water like a bad ass. The cable pulls you around the circle of water and there are jumps you can attempt or just go along for the ride, like me. I had a ridiculous smile the entire time I was out there, even the many (many!) times I either fell face first or lost my grip. What an awesome idea and a great workout! If you think you've seen and tried everything, Terminus is waiting for you! But be careful, it's addictive! read more

Went here on a Saturday afternoon in mid-October so there was essentially no wait time -- wouldn't want to be here on a crowded summer day. Was my 1st time on a wake board so I took a beginners lesson -- an extra $25 but I was able to pick up the basics. Having waterskiied and snowboarded for years, I was thereafter able to do some rails after about an hour on the wake board -- I'm pretty clumsy so if I can do it, anybody can. Staff was friendly & helpful. Although it isn't cheap, with ticket & eqpt. rentals it is a lot more economical than owning (or even renting) a boat. I'll be back next season (though definitely not on a mid summer day). read more

My friends and I did the water park with the obstacle course. It was fun and definitely a good work out. However, our time slot happened to be booked with three childrens' birthday party. I wish they separated the time slots for kids and adults. Limit the number of people would per time slot would be great too.There were over 40 of us including ALL the little kids. We were being extra careful not to run into them. Other than that, it's a fun activity to do. We'll come back and try wake boarding. read more

If your child is good at water sports with little need for coaching, they'll have fun. We sent our sons to a week-long camp (after two weekend sessions intended as an introduction). Kids all around them were doing great. Ours? Not so much. Very little enthusiasm in coaching them; they seemed more interested in the kids who were successful. Despite what the website said, there was no "kayaks and stand-up paddle boards." The introductory "2.0" area wasn't readily available - seems they were short staffed. When it was, children had to choose to go. No one suggested it or led them there for some help. And if your child isn't successful enough for them...? They don't get a t-shirt like the other campers. Great facility. Could fine tune the interactions with children and allow them to have any-shirt. They tried so hard, never giving up. Both boys were still trying as they called time on the last day! read more

I can't say enough about this place! The entire staff is exceptionally friendly and are happy to help however that can. The 20 min training class helps greatly in learning how to ride a wake board and all of the instructors coach you on how to improve. Trying a new sport like this can be intimidating, but their approach really takes this out of the equation. If you don't want to wakeboard, they have knee boards that can give you experience on the ropes. Great for the kids to get use to it. Love going there on their special Friday events as they often have live music and free food. The Aqua park is also great for everyone. My boys ride boards and my daughter can spend 2 hours on the inflatables. You really can't go wrong with and outing at Terminus. read more

The friendliness of the staff here was amazing even though the first visit here was a little intimidating. Josh was a great instructor on the trainer cable for my child Liam and he went above and beyond including coming to the main lake to make sure Liam was able to get up . This includes Garrett as well who was operating the cable. Both were awesome and while Liam struggled at first, their encouragement meant a lot to him. We will definitely be back! read more

This place is awesome. They have instruction for beginners and challenging things for advanced people. They've come a long way in 3 years. The pulling mechanisms are reliable and the staff is well trained. Sometimes the lines get a little long but they deal with it quite well. I go with my son and we have a really great time. Its 30 minutes from atlanta but it well worth the drive. Don't worry about being any equipment, they have everything right there. And don't worry if you've never done it before, they have a separate area to instruct you on how to do it. Trainers are great. read more

So much fun!! There was a little bit of a learning curve but the staff was so nice and helpful as were my fellow beginner wake boarders. I'm a 50 year old gym rat, soccer mom and I gotta tell you this is a great work out you don't even realize is a workout until the next day. During this time, they preach distancing through the park. Website doesn't represent how busy the park will be. Would be helpful for learning riders as they do not put a limit on laps for experienced riders. Staff is very mismanaged. They want reservations but the staff does not enforce those that stay way after (2-3+ hrs). I saw them tell people to leave but still let them go. (maybe they were friends or summer class kids but it shouldn't take away from the people that pay for the time). The line was be 50+ people with kids standing 1-2' from each other (even closer). If you want to take temperatures and state distancing for liability reasons, make your staff enforce. If not, just say we are all cool. And for the respect for your guests, make your team kick people out (cut off their bands) when their time is up so people that pay for their time can actually get what they pay for. My 2 beginner kids were told 20 minutes before their last ride it would be the last. They each got 3 rides in 2 hours (basically $130 including rental costs). UPDATE: Casey called last week to follow up on this review. To his defense, he stated that it was their busiest day of 2020 as they had opened the water park (not sure if they increased occupancy on the wakeboard side to accommodate). He started very cordial but was somewhat combative and stated that he nor his staff could control social distancing - it wasn't their responsibility - they drew lines on the floor but can't control teens. As for the time, he challenged me and asked if I checked every kid's band. WTF?!? Is that my job? I saw many that had times of 2:15 when it was 4:15 and later. He stated that the operators couldn't police the overtime riders. When I mentioned cutting off the bands, he said that was a good idea and would "consider" implementing it. In the end, Casey offered no apologizes about the experience despite he had openly admitted that the park was very overcrowded that day and some people didn't get their fair turns. Don't get me wrong, Terminus is a great place. Mismanaged on weekends, maybe. Go during the week. read more

We had a great time at Terminus Wake Park this past Saturday! We stopped at Chick-fil-a next door for a quick lunch, then were ready for the park to open at noon. Unfortunately, the park is still under construction, which lead to long lines since the beginner lake wasn't open yet, but we still had a blast. They had a variety of rentals, so my husband was able to get a wake skate no problem. The rest of us weren't up for riding so we lounged on the side of the lake with all the ramps. They had tons of different outdoor 'bean bag' type furniture to sit and lay on. They also had a few sponsor tents that provided shade. Aside from the facilities, we were also impressed by the staff. They were friendly throughout the check-in and rental process, they also offered us hot dogs and cool towels for free as we laid out in the sun. We have been to several cable parks before, but this one has been the best in my opinion and will only get better as they finish the beginner lake (which they said should be done at the end of May), make a parking lot, and build their office and concession stand building. Our only complaints were that the lines got really long after about 1:00pm, so my husband had to wait about 20 minutes in line each time. This was due to more people showing up, but also because the operator was allowing each person to take as many laps as they wanted. Eventually, probably after some complaining, they started making people stop after they had taken several laps. Again, this issue shouldn't be a problem once the other lake opens. Our other complaint was that we couldn't bring in any coolers. Would have been nice to spend the day there with some cold drinks or to be able to bring our own food in. I'm told this rule will also change once they have their facilities completed. As a side note, they are also developing right around the park, which is likely to build up the tourism. Looked like they had a couple restaurants and a hotel about halfway completed. Hopefully it's all finished before the Points Chase nationals in August! Overall, great park! Can't wait to visit once it's all finished! read more

Awesome summer camp for two children ages 6 & 10. While some instructors were more instructional - overall the kids LOVED the experience!

This place has potential, I suppose, but there need to be some upgrades all around. Check-in was run by 3 teenagers at 3 computers but 2 were playing on their phones despite the long line. Then over to rental pick-up where the same thing was happening...long line but the young people distributing the equipment were chatting to each other, moving like molasses, and ignoring any questions from the customers. We went to the Beginner's pond where we were able to get exactly ONE tow in before an hour and a half rain delay (obviously, the lightning issue is not their fault). There were 10-12 people trying to go on the beginner pond--not what I'd call a lot--but buddies of the person running the line were bumped ahead of others over and over. There was a DJ playing music--a nice touch--but it was at a supersonic jet level of loudness. We were given a raincheck since we had only 1 tow and there was no end in sight for the storm to pass, but I doubt we will make the haul back up there again. The AquaPark looks way better online; in real life, there are only a few things to climb/play/slide on. Overall, a huge, expensive disappointment. read more

Don't go on a weekend if it's your first time. You will wait up to 30 min to get on a cable on course one and up to 15 min on course two. So after falling twice coming off the platform on course two I left. By the time I would get back to the front of the line it's like starting over as opposed to getting back on. If I go again it will be on a week day so I can get back up and feel that I will get the hang of it then. It would be nice to have a land training session and have the option to come out of the water on course 2 for us beginners. I'm athletic so frustrated that I couldn't enjoy course 2 just because I couldn't launch off dock. The speed difference from course one and two feels twice as fast. Clean facility though and overall a good experience at at the Groupon half off price. Don't use address on Groupon but the directions off the Terminus website. Make left off hwy instead of right which is what GPS says and its right next to Loves gas station. read more
