    Splash pad Sunday!
    Jessi P.

This is my favorite park by far. There's so much to do for people and pets of all ages and sizes. There's three different dog parks which is amazing. I started bringing my pup here when he was about 3-4 months old and he's grown to love this park and even has friends we see here regularly. If you just want too walk your dog there's plenty of walking trails for that too! I've also been venting my daughter here since she was 2. We've enjoyed the splash pad and playgrounds alike. We've also attended different community festivals here that are always fun. Lastly, she loves going over to the skate park to watch the skaters. Sometimes I'll visit the park solo as well for walking as it has lovely walking trails. If you want a more serious/intense workout there's also an area for that. This park is truly amazing. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!

This park is wonderful. They have a lot of different areas for different size kids and there is even a splash pad and skate park available as well. We love the play area for younger kids as it is fenced in and has two gates that the kids need to go through in order to get in or out.

Saturday August 8, 2020 This splash pad cost $2 per person and has a 50 personal capacity which thankfully had not been met by the time we arrived in the late afternoon. The pad had a good list of rules and staff present to watch over everyone. At this splash pad be prepared to get wet, even if you are a bystander or chaperone, the water goes almost everywhere. It did not bother me...I was off chasing my little one. One thing this splash pad did not have was a rubber padded surface which means any wipe outs are on hard concrete. Ouch. Thankfully we didn't have any, but I'm sure this place has its share. Otherwise, it was fun to spend an hour here before heading out.

I can't even believe they have such an incredible park around the corner from my house with so much to do! This park is IT! Tons of parking, plenty of seating, covered picnic tables, restrooms, vending machines.... Plus the skate park, fitness trail, fitness area, a gated play area for younger children and another play area for older kids. There is a splash pad! So fun! There is a huge grassy area right in the middle - perfect for running around with a soccer ball or flying a kite on a windy day. They host events here as well, such as "movie In the park" and "camp out". I also loved that the younger kids play area is covered in turf and so much easier to maneuver around. Absolutely love this park!!

This is easily the best park I've ever been to. There are walking and running trails, a bicycle air pump, multiple bathrooms, playgrounds, is splash pad, and so much more. The splash pad you do have to pay for but it is reasonable, only $2. I have been multiple times and each time I have been the park is busy with people, both individuals and families alike.

Great park! Nice playground, fun spray pad, walking trails, and skate boarding! It makes a great place to take my grandkids when I visit, not to mention, I can top it off with a trip to Pelican snowballs across the street after our adventures here!!

This was a pleasurable distraction from the busyness of the surrounding commercial area. There was also a nice covered area for observation of the koi pond and waterfall features, which would be great in a mild rain shower. The butterfly tent area sounds amazing, but we were too early for the season. The gardens are set up for educational purposes for children, which is nice. The bad: some areas are in desperate need for weeding, Robert said a large group of volunteers were coming out this weekend to help with weeding. There were many poison oak plants and poison ivy plants in some areas where kids might roam, especially, or adults too. The trails could be marked better, even though maps were available at the main admissions shop and a couple on property. Generally, this seemed newer rather than well established, but it is on its way to a nice gardens area and even now is a great spot to spend a couple of hours or more in nature!

A portion of the park is dedicated to Acworth Beach, which is a fairly good sized sandy beach along side Lake Acworth. The beach is well kept, clean and normally packed during the summer months, as you would expect. They do have buoys in the water noting distance parameters, but the beach does not have active lifeguards, so very much "swim at your own risk". As with other beaches, they offer restrooms and showers adjacent to the beach. While Cauble Park features all the good stuff of a park, it is also a residential neighborhood. To access you either have to live in the city limits of Acworth, and have your respective car tag, or pay a per-car fee to enter. It ranges from $10 - $20, depending on the season. Parking is plentiful, but can be tough on summer weekend days or during special events such as July 4th. Something else I enjoyed about this park is the wooden walkway that took you over Lake Acworth and gave great views of the park, lake and beach. This trail leads into a wooden trail, and while I enjoy paved trails a bit more, I get the preservation of the woods and leaving the trail paved/dirt. This trail is not very long, and dead ends into another residential street. Overall, Cauble Park at Acworth Beach is a well know, but hidden gem in the community!
