This is my favorite park by far. There's so much to do for people and pets of all ages and sizes. There's three different dog parks which is amazing. I started bringing my pup here when he was about 3-4 months old and he's grown to love this park and even has friends we see here regularly. If you just want too walk your dog there's plenty of walking trails for that too! I've also been venting my daughter here since she was 2. We've enjoyed the splash pad and playgrounds alike. We've also attended different community festivals here that are always fun. Lastly, she loves going over to the skate park to watch the skaters. Sometimes I'll visit the park solo as well for walking as it has lovely walking trails. If you want a more serious/intense workout there's also an area for that. This park is truly amazing. I'm not sure who likes this park more - the kids or the dogs! The playgrounds are immaculate, the skate park a decent size, and the splash pad a perfect place for Georgia summer day. There are covered picnic tables and a walking path around the park to get some exercise. When it comes to the pups, they have a dog park and the path is paved for them to join in the walking too! There is something for everyone here and plenty of parking, which is unusual for the area. read more

Saturday August 8, 2020 This splash pad cost $2 per person and has a 50 personal capacity which thankfully had not been met by the time we arrived in the late afternoon. The pad had a good list of rules and staff present to watch over everyone. At this splash pad be prepared to get wet, even if you are a bystander or chaperone, the water goes almost everywhere. It did not bother me...I was off chasing my little one. One thing this splash pad did not have was a rubber padded surface which means any wipe outs are on hard concrete. Ouch. Thankfully we didn't have any, but I'm sure this place has its share. Otherwise, it was fun to spend an hour here before heading out. read more

Pretty Great Playground For Kids! This is a nice, well kept playground that is clean and all around great for families! Lots of different activities on astroturf padded flooring so kids stay clean! Well kept area, usually everything works, except whatever the rocking thing is at the end of the turf area behind the swings. I've never seen it work. read more

I can't even believe they have such an incredible park around the corner from my house with so much to do! This park is IT! Tons of parking, plenty of seating, covered picnic tables, restrooms, vending machines.... Plus the skate park, fitness trail, fitness area, a gated play area for younger children and another play area for older kids. There is a splash pad! So fun! There is a huge grassy area right in the middle - perfect for running around with a soccer ball or flying a kite on a windy day. They host events here as well, such as "movie In the park" and "camp out". I also loved that the younger kids play area is covered in turf and so much easier to maneuver around. This is easily the best park I've ever been to. There are walking and running trails, a bicycle air pump, multiple bathrooms, playgrounds, is splash pad, and so much more. The splash pad you do have to pay for but it is reasonable, only $2. I have been multiple times and each time I have been the park is busy with people, both individuals and families alike. read more

Review for dog park only: It's a shame this is such a nice park and so close to everything in Kennesaw but the dog park is a joke! It is a nice big area but there is NO grass at all. It is all mud. Having a hairy dog here is a nightmare and means baths every night. They also put down some gravel that stains my babies fur grey every time he walks on it with wet paws. Also constantly smells like poop the second you walk in due to the one trash can at the entrance. They also had the water turned off for months even though it was above 70 degrees out. If you are coming here for the dog park, don't come. read more

The Swift-Cantrell Park in Kennesaw has been evolving over the past year or so. Previously a beautiful farm with rolling pastures, the 42 acre parcel is now one of the nicest parks in Cobb County (IMHO). In their infinite wisdom, the park planners carefully saved many of the trees that made this property so beautiful. On any given day, people of all ages enjoy the nicely paved and shady walking tracks, biking paths, pavilions and playgrounds. There is always a group of kids having fun on the skate ramps, and dogs of every size accompany their owners for a stroll (its so nice to have a place that welcomes pets.) All the water fountains have 2 spigots, a high one for humans, and a low one for creatures, and there are plenty of "pet stations" that provide little plastic bags to keep the park clean. City-provided WiFi is available throughout the park, and there is plenty of greenspace to stretch out, enjoy a picnic, check your email, and play a game of Frisbee or fly kites. There is plenty of lighting for those that like to visit in the evening, and it opens super early for those that are motivated to walk before the sun comes up. This park has already made such an impact on this little community, and judging from the car tags, folks are traveling here from adjacent cities to enjoy it, too. read more

This park also has an unleash area for big dogs and little dogs to run and play in. I've been bringing my two dogs there since April 2010. The area is clean, has running water for those hot days and plenty of poop bags to clean up after your pup. The dogs all seem to get along just fine. Super cool park for the skater chicks and skater boys. I only came here for my nephew's "Tony Hawk" video shoot. Everyone who was in the video was super cool and laid back. The "security" aka park rangers aka ball busters were annoying as hell. They kept hanging around to see what we were doing. I hate that. My neph got permission from the management to shoot his video. No need to hang around - "we" follow the rules, man. GTFOH! Unfortunately, one of the video production crew members had a little spat with the workers so of course that brought more attention to our crowd. Understandably, he was pissed about them watching us like a hawk, but hey, I guess they're just "doing their job". They eventually walked away and let them be. Anyway, this park is super clean [the way parks should be]. Its brand new so its well kept. There's a dog area I think and of course an area for the kids to play in. It looked fancy. The walking trail is plenty for people to take a stroll and/or exercise. I wished I lived in the area, I would totally be there all the time. I'm still a fan tho. read more

AMAH-ZING park and so close to my office and home. Very large green space, excellent walking trail and room for my dog to run around. My favorite part are the cops that sleep in the back. Boy, do I feel safe! I wish they had more trees planted. Granted, it is mostly grass but I wish they kept the land they cleared for the park a little more lush. Flowers, bushes, trees...something! They have kids movies, races and even ice cream days during the Summer. It is a great green space in Kennesaw loved by the hundreds that come daily. read more

One of the best parks I've ever been to. It has something for everyone, especially dog lovers. There's 2 park areas to seperate the younger and older kids, which I thought was a great idea. There were also 2 park areas for dogs to seperate the bigger and smaller dogs, so there was something for everyone's babies. It was definitely a nice area to walk around in. We walked around the park in about 10 minutes, but did note that biking/skating may have been more fun. I have lived in Georgia for about 6 months now, and I cannot believe that I just now found this park! This spot is absolutely perfect for me and my four year old daughter. It would also be great for teenagers or even adults to come hang out! There is a skating park, two playgrounds, walking trails and a lot more. What I like the most about the playgrounds is that they are separated by age. The one for ages 2 to 5 has a fence around it, which is super comforting to me. Gracie and I have been kind of bummed because a lot of the places that we visited lately do not have very many children around for her to interact with. Well I told her that this park would certainly have a lot of children! Boy was I right! This is my first visit to this park, and I'm looking forward to coming back often! read more

Love coming here with my dog. There's a small fog park for pups just under 20 pounds and a larger dog park for those over. If there are no dogs for my dog to play with the trails are a nice way to get my dogs energy out without feeling like I've wasted a drive. read more

DO NOT GO TO THE DOG PARK HERE. My friend and I's dogs have gotten attacked multiple times by aggressive dogs. The owners don't do anything or even apologize. There is no excuses to allow your dog in with other dogs if they're going to be aggressive. There is a group of aggressive dogs and irresponsible owners that come every night after 5 so I recommend not going after 5 if you don't want your dog to get attacked :) read more

A park for everyone! It has a paved walking trail that loops the park and is exactly a mile long. People walk, run, bike, and skate on this path. There's an area for outdoor fitness. There are several open fields for picnics, kite flying, a game of kickball, or even some weird ninja / anime fighting play group that meets. There are two fenced in dog parks- one for small dogs and another for large dogs. There's a fenced in toddler playground and then a larger playground for older kids. A shaded pavilion for parties or grilling out. And there is even a little skate park! This park has it all. It's very open and spacious which feels safe- very family friendly. My only complaint is there isn't a ton of shady areas but there are a few. read more

My daughter loves this playground! They have an area for kids under 5 that is fenced in which is a big plus for me!! Another playground only steps away for 5 and up has a lot more variety for the older kids. Covered picnic area is great for bringing lunch to the park, and benches located around the playground so you can sit and watch kids from every angle. I was threaten at the dog park by one of the Parks and Recreation workers named Lee James. He got so aggressive that I had to call the police about it. I've been going to this park for two years and never had an incident until today, October 29, 2019. The demeanor and unprofessionalism exhibited by this employee has stained this park's impression on me. There was a witness to this unacceptable manner, who spoke up on my behalf. I would not take my kids here if I was a parent. I can only imagine the hostility he would place on kids or anybody who does not stand up for themselves. To have the Swift-Cantrell foundation support this belligerent behavior shows what type of organization it is. read more

This is a great park to go chill out at with your family and friends. They have a park made for the wee little ones and one for the older children. A dog park for large breeds and one for small breeds. There are several pavilions where you can bbq and plenty of open space for a romantic picnic. There is a nice area to skateboard with a skateboard shop across the street. While at the park if you want to walk,run,or ride a bike there is a trail that goes around the park. This park serves as Kennesaw's Central Park. I love that there are several play areas, including a fenced in under 10 area. I like it best in the morning, as it gets busier as the day goes on.
