I didn't really notice this park until I drove by a second time. There's ample parking in the front and the back. There are lots of open, green spaces. This park is very well maintained. There's a playground by the entrance and a mini hiking trail further back over the bridge near the creek. The park itself was clean, trash bins were visibly placed, and plenty of benches present. A walking trail circles the main green space and then there's a few smaller hiking trails once you pass over the bridge. I enjoyed the trails further back. I wish they were a bit longer but they were clearly marked and identifiable. Everyone also seemed to be respectful of the social distancing and kept a good amount of space in between others. This park seems to be very family/kid friendly. Many families were there with small children playing while older individuals walked the main, paved walking trail. Many people were also walking their dogs and were all leashed. This is a clean, safe park that I would definitely revisit.

The squirrels at East Cobb Park like to throw nuts on my head after dark. At first I though it must of been a mistake so I turned around and did a double take. A big fat tail squirrel did I see was clinching his fist and sqeeking at me. "hey watch what you're doing" I held up my fist. The squirrel lifted his hind leg and let out a warm mist.....

Easy Cobb Park is a bit of a drive for us, but when asked where do they want to go on a Saturday afternoon the kiddos always say "The park that is an hr away!" Yay, for me... This park has ample parking, a nice walking area that leads to many different trails. playground equipments, a small creek with clean running water and nice open grassy area. Although, there are many families and couples it doesn't feel crowded. The restrooms, parking lots, play areas and trails are very clean. On our last visit we found the trail that lead to an area in the back where the stream is sandy and shallow. The children and husband had fun throwing rocks and skipping them in the water. This is a really nice park to spend a day with your family or significant other.

This is such a lovely park. It's well kept and have a lot for kids and fur babies to explore. I've done several photo shoots here and everyone just let you do your thing.

Great little local park. I had no idea of all the goodies that were in the back the further you explore. There are a couple of hiking trails around the perimeter, a river running through the park (not sure how safe it is for humans but pets seemed to like it), and lots of benches sprinkled throughout to stop in take in the views and sounds, whether it's the babbling river, the chirpy kids on the large playground stuffed with fun equipment, or the silence under a shady tree a little off the path. There were two decent sized fields to throw a ball around on or have a picnic. It was fairly active and busy for a Wednesday evening but it didn't feel crowded or unsafe. A gem!

Beautiful day to enjoy the park! Thank you City of Marietta for updating the park equipment. This will make for a fun season!

I LOVE this park! They have updated all the playground equipment and have maintained this park very well. Lots of families and feels very safe. I look forward to a fun season there this year.

Best park in the area by far! Perfect for walking dogs, riding bikes, and pretty much anything you can come up with.

The restrooms are very clean. Admission is reasonable at $10 per adult. No cash accepted. Plenty of walkable area and trails, many places to comfortably sit and enjoy this slice of nature. This was a pleasurable distraction from the busyness of the surrounding commercial area. There was also a nice covered area for observation of the koi pond and waterfall features, which would be great in a mild rain shower. The butterfly tent area sounds amazing, but we were too early for the season. The gardens are set up for educational purposes for children, which is nice. The bad: some areas are in desperate need for weeding, Robert said a large group of volunteers were coming out this weekend to help with weeding. There were many poison oak plants and poison ivy plants in some areas where kids might roam, especially, or adults too. The trails could be marked better, even though maps were available at the main admissions shop and a couple on property. Generally, this seemed newer rather than well established, but it is on its way to a nice gardens area and even now is a great spot to spend a couple of hours or more in nature!
