I started bringing my pup here when he was about 3-4 months old and he's grown to love this park and even has friends we see here regularly. If you just want too walk your dog there's plenty of walking trails for that too! I've also been venting my daughter here since she was 2. We've enjoyed the splash pad and playgrounds alike. We've also attended different community festivals here that are always fun. Lastly, she loves going over to the skate park to watch the skaters. Sometimes I'll visit the park solo as well for walking as it has lovely walking trails. If you want a more serious/intense workout there's also an area for that. This park is truly amazing. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!

It is flanked by new build residential and commercial development, along with the Acworth Community Center and school. The park consists of a couple of paved walking paths that circle a multi-use grass field, pavilions, playgrounds and a decent amount of parking for the space. While I have not visited during special events, Logan Farm is heavily used for special events that overflow to or from downtown, and apparently is host to a pretty sweet farmers market. My niece loves the playground here, so each time I visit, and we do dinner or lunch downtown, we always make a stop here so she can do her thing for a bit. The park is clean and well maintained. Overall, nothing too fancy, but it gets the job done well. I'm a fan!

(Book 44 &43 if you want to be closer to 47-50). These campsites are right next to the water and not too far from the bathrooms, which is so convenient. There is no electricity there and site has their own water. We had beautiful weather during the day and a nice cool breeze at night. Make sure to keep all your coolers secure because a couple of raccoons broke into several of ours. P.s. There is also an outlet right by the parking lot next to campsite 47.

We have visited Lake Acworth via Cauble Park on numerous occasions and always tend to enjoy ourselves. The water is always calm and clean, on the surface at least. The lake is well maintained and surrounded by the park, woods, a neighborhood and a highway. So, always something different to look at whether you are hanging on the beach or kayaking around the water. While most of our visits are for walking and enjoying the beach, I have visited for fireworks and other community events. The lake and park hold up well. There are onsite restrooms and such as well, which make trips here a bit easier. You will find folks enjoying all things from building sandcastles to walking the pups, grilling out, fishing or just chilling. When I visit, we tend to do it all, except the fishing part. Overall, Lake Acworth is a cute spot for a chill afternoon. Low energy needed to enjoy yourself here. Keep in mind that the main access point is through Cauble Park, which for non-Acworth city residents charges by the vehicle, usually no more than $20.

Along the way, you'll come across really interesting Civil War landmarks and historic markers that make the hike feel like stepping back in time. It's also very family-friendly and dog-friendly! I was able to hike it with my 4-year-old daughter walking beside me and my 1.5-year-old on my back, and we all had a blast. The views at the top are so worth it, and the whole mountain is filled with a sense of history and beauty. If you're looking for a hike that blends nature, family fun, and historic charm, Kennesaw Mountain is definitely worth the visit.

Spinner bowls mimic the light placement along a typical runway, as well as standard, toddler and basket swings for ADA accessibility. Finally, the state-of-the-art, aviation-themed playground is enhanced with an ICON climbing structure, offering park visitors the perfect fusion of mental & physical gameplay with the S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) integrate activity center. Perhaps most notably though, is the picturesque, authentic flying machine! The installation of a restored & refurbished 1964 Beechcraft A-23 Musketeer airplane at Aviation Park is awe inspiring. Several partners contributed to making this project a reality. The plane was donated to the Alliance by Hawthorne Aviation, then restored by DLK Aviation Incorporated. Engineering, design, and installation was provided by DeNyse; other partners include Fly LBI, Priority Jet, and Brahma Marketing. The custom tail number for the plane is "N20RYY" which is consistent with industry standards for naming similar planes. The prefix, "N", stands for its country of origin which, in this case, is the United States of America. Typically followed by numbers, the number "20" was selected to commemorate the year of installation. Lastly, the final letters, "RYY", reflect the three-letter airport code for Cobb County International Airport.ye
