My husband and I went to the rodeo tonight. The show was great and as much as I was enjoying it, The seating was awful. After being kicked about 50 times from people going up and down the bleachers I was done. Not to mention the amount of REALLY young kids walking back and forth. I have 3 kids of my own and I get they get board but when they are up and down the bleachers multiple times in an hour and I am getting kicked in the back (they are young, not babies) i am not happy. We also paid over $50 for our tickets combined. I was so frustrated I just left. You shouldn't have to tell grown people to watch their kids, but apparently you really should. It wasn't necessarily the park or the event that ruined it but the people that let their kids run wild. I never comment on kids but these were not babies, these were 10 plus that were constantly up and down the cheap bleachers and were totally distracting and also blocking the view. They did ask people that were standing in front to sit down at one point but that didn't help. Simple reminders throughout might help. I won't be going back anytime soon. read more

Great park for joggers, kids (has playgrounds), party events (complete w/picnic tables & city reservations) and great mountain bike trails. The main loop is flat dirt & gravel but the back trails are definitely for the advanced mountain bikers- so you will get a good work out. (The advanced uphill rugged terrain trails are comparable to Blankets Creek mountain bike trails also in Canton- only it's more desolate there so it can feel creepy if you're by yourself- you start to imagine bears and coyotes & snakes.) The good thing is there are always people around so it's safe park. There's tons of parking being its right next to the high school and on weekends there are always soccer teams playing or people going for a walk. read more

Boling Park - Advanced Mountain bike trails are along the trees - Parks Near Me - Canton, Georgia

This park is tucked behind the high school and middle school, and past the city sewer treatment center. This is a great little park for almost any outdoor sport or activity there is to do. I use the running trails at boiling park which are different from etowah park trails, these are made of gravel and dirt trails instead of running on cement such as at etowah. There are also tails the the local Boy Scout troop has carved out in the woods to enjoy that will take you through the streams that run off the river that runs beside the park where you can drop your pole in the water if you choose to do so. Over all this is a great little gem of a park. read more

Looks like a great park. Lots of sports fields and huge play areas. However, dogs are not allowed. There are signs everywhere stating "no dogs allowed". read more

Great local place to run. Crowded during school dismissal- so be careful going from 3-4 pm. Great trails and track.

Beautiful park. Lots of open space for a variety of activities. Well maintained tennis courts.

I LOVE THIS PARK! Ok, ok, so I only come here for the geocaching. But still, the park is great! It tends to get rather busy on weekends, and the initial parking lot probably needs some repaving, but if you drive past all that to the back of the park, there's a set of trails that goes off into the woods. The views of the woods out back of here are wonderful! The trails are well-designed and I'm glad that the park has decided to make them available, rather than taking this land and building more sports fields. I'll most definitely be back, and next time, I'll probably be taking a cache out to hide it out there! read more

So happy to bring my mom to the Indian pow wow for Mother's Day. She's so happy and that makes me happy. It is a little hot though....

I took my mom and mawmaw to the Indian Pow Wow on mothers day. It was a very fun and insightful event. The parking guys were nice and allowed us to drive through to the gate to drop my mawmaw off. The place was very clean and had a nice happy atmosphere surrounding it. read more

Pretty good for what it is. Spacious and relatively clean. There are 4 wall ball courts... Where else are you going to find this? I mean seriously! The tennis courts are beat and the nets all womped up. The areas around what I think were the concession buildings were flooded ew. Parking is ample however the front parking lot leaves you a long walk to many of the amenities. My advice drive as far in as you can when looking for parking. This park is right on the river so you could fish here I assume unless it is prohibited. read more

The playground at this park is DANGEROUS! It has a slide that is missing the bottom portion, so it ends almost 4 feet above the ground. There are missing boards in the "floor" on several levels of the playground, leaving gaps that might be perfectly safe for an adult, but were plenty big enough for a child to slip through. The woodchip "padding" around the playground is worn away, and the swings are all either broken or hanging from rusty chains. Horrible. Looked up a park to give our kids a break during a long trip, and was horrified when we arrived. I would NEVER take my kids here again! read more

Might be alright for those who come for the sport section but the playground selection is horrible. The walking paths are alright but kind of creepy when you on your own. read more

This park is beautiful. If you like to walk, hike or run on trails this park is for you. It meanders along the Etowah River crosses over a small but lovely stream with waterfall and then goes up into the rolling hills. We love the white trail but there are several to enjoy. Highly recommended for all ages, bring water and have the kids take a bathroom break before you start your hike as there are no facilities once in the woods (lol). read more

How do I get information on renting the covered pavilion for a get together , does anybody know

The trails of this park are amazing. It's difficult to find long, non-biking trails in the area and I'm glad I was introduced to this one. It's very quiet and the trail is easy to run or walk. Also. before you get to the trail there are several fitness loops of track which include workout areas that specialize in certain movements. For example, there are several heights of pull up bars as well as parallel bars. I will most definitely be going back. read more

I wish I could like this park, but I'm effectively 'banished' because of Canton's stupid 'no dogs in parks' policy. And, as another reviewer stated, it does sometimes REALLY stink. Why does Canton put a park where the sewage treatment plant is? The park floods after heavy rains, too, but that's a side-effect of being on the Etowah River (a river that SHOULD be lovely, but has been treated as a utility by the governments of North Georgia). read more
