I came by with my husband, brother, and sister in law midday on a Saturday. The place was totally dead with maybe 2 or 3 other groups other than us. We did not have reservations. I've gone karting at more traditional places like Andretti before, and they were fun, and I absolutely recognize the perks of electric karts vs gas powered ones in an indoor setting since you can actually breathe without inhaling all those awful fumes. All riders are given a head sock to be worn under the helmet so that your hair doesn't have to touch the interior of the helmet. They spray the helmets down with disinfectant after they are worn. Helmets have a clear plastic face shield that you can pull down to protect your eyes if you wish. They have multiple sizes of helmets so that they can accommodate all people and they are adjustable as well. However... all karts here are controlled by the person operating the race. That means if you're winning the races that is because you are being allowed to. They can and will throttle your speed. I understand the need to do so for safety purposes but during one of our races once they decided to slow me down, that was it. I could not catch up to anybody even if I was out in the open by myself. I couldn't accelerate at all. They also have a kill switch. At one point during a race the operator went to go shout at some of the racers for bumping each other (not with our party) and in doing so turned off all our karts mid-race so we were just sitting there waiting. Again I understand why they would do so for safety purposes, but it defeats the purpose of actually racing each other. Therefore I can say the purpose of this place is good if all you want to do is ride around in a kart for 12 laps. Other than throttling, the majority of the space is dedicated to the track. There is a very small arcade (literally 5 or 6 machines) so do not come here wanting to play games. They have a counter where you can get basic drinks and very basic food (maybe 3 food options including chicken tenders). There's a small seating area by the food area where you can sit and eat, and they have high top tables by the track where you could sit and watch the track. Finally they also have 2 big party rooms for private events. It's also worth mentioning that they have smaller karts for children and the children will race by themselves. They will not mix child size karts with adult size carts, which is helpful if you're worried about children racing with adults. I also want to mention the pricing. You are required to pay an annual membership fee (something like $8) in addition to the race prices. This fee cannot be waived for any purpose. Even if you are from out of town and do not ever plan on coming back, it doesn't matter. You have to have an individual membership fee for every single person, paid yearly, not one-time. Just something to keep in mind. I don't know that I would come back. The speed throttling really soured the experience for me because I had zero chance thanks to the race operator's decisions. If I want to blow off steam just riding around without wasting my own gas in my own car I would consider it, but I don't see any point in coming here to try to win. You can't race here fairly at all.

This place has a small track, and when they are a little busy they don't care about player experience at all and just shove over 8 players on the track at the same time, it only takes 2 players to block the track if they are slow so imagine 4 people all blocking the track at the same time, no way to play properly. If they seem busy then don't even bother to go and play at all.

The manager Nate. Look how angry he looks.

We had a very negative experience that I would describe as "racially motivated". Now I'm not one to just jump to that conclusion but it doesn't make sense any other way. So myself, my friend, her brother, and a few of his friends (8 of us total) visited this establishment. More than half of the people we were with were visiting from out of town... Because it's not weird for people to travel to see people that they care about. Anyway I arrived there about 7:45pm, signed the liability waiver, paid, and by 8pm unbeknownst to me we were being put out, ALL OF US! From what I understood the manager kicked us out based on suspicion. He just had a non-verified "hunch" that all of our information and addresses that we input into the computer were fake. Now mind you when you walk into the establishment they make you enter into this computer your name, phone number, email address, your full address, and date of birth. With no explanation as to why they need the information. Btw it is not stated (as he tried to say) in the legal agreement that we signed prior to riding the go cart. So regardless of if I agreed with it or not we all put in our information. The manager Nate who was extremely rude and hostile came flying over in a rage and said we all have to go. He accused us of falsifying information but never once asked for an ID. Even after we all offered to show him. His whole thing he kept saying was how come everyone had a different address? Like what kind of weird question is that? are you sure you're the manager?? So then one of the girls that was with us pulled out her ID to show him and it in fact matched the information that was in the computer. He saw it matched, never apologized and still kicked us out. Btw if you're wondering, nobody was ever yelling or hostile back to him. Almost everyone was British very mild-mannered & dislike confrontation. This was actually very humiliating. The weirdest part was there were people coming in during this who he was smiling at and welcoming them in but also not thoroughly checking their information as he did ours. So basically never going back or recommending this place. But if you look a certain way it probably won't happen to you, so enjoy.

Damn it's pretty fun. I didn't eat anything but the food looks ok. I came in 8th the first race but in the 2nd race I came in 4th. It's 120. For 2 people and two races but for 4 people and 2 races its 220. I know it's kinda high but it's fun as HELL especially with a big crowd. So could see myself coming back. O and the staff is pretty cool too. And everything was clean. And parking was no problem.

K1 Speed did an amazing job with our group. large groups like ours can be a lot to handle but Joe and the team at K1 accommodated our every request. great team building event for our group. lots of memories made and friendships formed.

Location is great, atmosphere is electric, and my friends all enjoyed our experience last week!! Why I'm giving this establishment five stars though is a whole entire reason, and it's because of the manager- who I found out later was Nate. His professionalism and interaction with his guests were absolutely wonderful; even took the time to give us directions again with the cars we were driving. However, what impressed me the most was when this larger group was becoming way too obnoxious- perhaps drank too much, or more; I'm honestly not sure what happened with this other group. They suddenly were shouting and becoming a little too rowdy as some would say. Nate went over and tried to calm the voices, but out of no where members of this group began calling him "southern trash, a cock sucking trump supporter, and even southern scum," to give a few examples. This was such a disturbing scene! Nate and his team though kept their professionalism and requested the group leave, after requesting already numerous times prior to calm down. The group refused several times until finally they left- this group was racist, loud, and had no care for the surrounding guests, such as myself and my group. My group also had young children and I was relieved when management got them removed- in the best way possible. I read Ms. Monique V- elite members review and was blown away with how many lies she has in it! Yelp is meant for honesty and feedback on truthful experiences, and Monique V truly disappointed me as a fellow member and witness of what really happened that day. Monique V and her group were the racist ones- not this establishment at all. I advise everyone to try this establishment and have a fantastic experience like I did!! The staff in all were attentive, extremely professional, and above all- won my business for the future in racing. This establishment blew away all my expectations, and as you can tell, in many more ways then one. I will be back soon!

This place is great. One thing I recommend is making a reservation honestly. This place takes people of all ages. We had a group of 8 people that were going to ride the cars. We called and tried to make a reservation and the gentleman over the phone explained to us with the large group we will have to make a deposit to hold our spot. We weren't set on a time so we decided to do a walk in instead. When we got there we had to sign a waiver then pay. We ended up getting a Membership plan because they have multiple locations and we have one where we live as well. The membership came with a free head sock and a T shirt. The gentleman told us we had about a two hour wait since we were a walk in. We went in a Saturday night around 7pm and that was understandable. We go into the cars around 10pm. While we waited they had arcade games to play, food and drinks to purchase which was good. They had plenty of seating area they had tables and couches and massage chairs to all sit in while you waited for your race. Once we got into the cars we waited for the race before us to come back while we put on our seatbelts and helmets. The controller of the cars explained the rules telling us there was no bumping and let people pass us if they need to. This race was time by speed. These cars go fast they have a kick to them. The ride on the track was about 10 minutes long and after the race you get a print out of your time and place you came in. We paid for two rides so after our first ride was over they sat us down right away to ride our second race. This place was nice. But like I said make a reservation!! We went to celebrate a friend 32 birthday. This place was great for kids and adults. We will be returning.

Andretti's in Buford is basically a playground for adults disguised as a sleek entertainment complex. The space feels modern and high-energy, with neon lighting, polished concrete, glowing game zones, and that constant hum of excitement from the arcade floor and track. It's part adrenaline, part date night, and part "we are absolutely children and proud of it." We spent the evening bouncing between arcade games, fully embracing our competitive sides. The ticket machines kept spitting out proof of our triumphs, and after a heroic run of wins, we cashed in for the ultimate symbol of arcade victory: a lava lamp. Nothing strengthens a relationship like carrying a glowing tube of molten nostalgia to the car. The atmosphere is lively without feeling chaotic, making it easy to laugh, play, and celebrate small victories together. Granted it was noonish when I was there but it was Saturday and the place was a ghost town. The layout is pretty odd as well. There's a secondary overflow parking lot on the midway next to a big stockade looking building and other old timey looking facades but most of it looks like a county fair or a family fun center like Barrymore's back home. I got my wristband to ride as much as I wanted for the day, even knowing I had to make it to Cape Canaveral by the end of the night and couldn't spend anything close to a full day here. I made a beeline for the fabled star attraction, ArieForce One. It looks great and a mere station wait was a welcome sight. The first 90% of ArieForce One completely lived up to the hype with an incredible mix of airtime hills, inversions and overbanked turns coming at a breakneck pace. Nothing was breaking my neck though, or causing the slightest bit of discomfort. Then came the series of bunny hills at the end with their violent ejector air. Absolute killed my thighs whether I was in the front or the rear of the train. Felt like my thighs were getting jackhammered. Now I've ridden several coasters built by Rocky Mountain Construction, the manufacturer of ArieForce One. Iron Gwazi, Steel Vengeance, Twisted Cyclone and Goliath in addition to the one I'm talking about. All had the lapbars with the shin guards that let you go upside down without over the shoulder restraints. I've never had an issue with these RMC restraints on any of their other coasters that I've ridden. I thought I'd ride ArieForce One a dozen times or so. After one ride I went to ride a go kart track. It was okay nothing special. Came back for a second lap on ArieForce One. Once again I needed a break from it after that. I rode the park's other coasters, an unremarkable wild mouse called Hurricane. Hit the bathroom and took pictures of weird murals on the walls by video games and the food court. Came back for a third lap on ArieForce One. Once again it was exhilarating, exhilarating, more exhilarating then excruciating. I know a lot of coaster freaks are over the moon about ArieForce One - about the only other people riding it were maniacal masochists who were walking roller coaster encyclopedias. And I wouldn't mind working my way up to being a walking roller coaster encyclopedia but to be that I need to be able to walk. Love everything about ArieForce One until those bruising bunny hills at the finale. To me that ride is unmarathonable. Fortunately I did need to make good time on the road and I had lots of other fun things planned on this trip and I knew I would be spending a pretty penny so I didn't much mind the cash I sunk into that wristband. This Fun Spot is just so odd and its marquee attraction has a fatal flaw but I'll still give the place three stars. Here's to knowing when to say when.
