If I could give this venue 10 stars I would. My son got married here this past weekend and let me tell you - they take care of you from start to finish! There's nothing they didn't do- Rose Hall ladies Amanda and Megan, wedding coordinators. They didn't skip a beat and my son had the best day of his life because of them! They were very attentive to the bride and groom, the parties and the family. You never had to wonder where they were to ask for something because they stayed close. This was our fourth child's wedding and this was by far the one the least stressful. This venue is so beautiful. Looks like those old homes in Savannah Georgia is what it reminded me of. Food was good! Cake was delicious!! Oh and the chicken buffalo dip was my favorite! Sweet Carley did a great job serving drinks! She served with a smile. The DJ was awesome as well. Brennan? The space is gorgeous and oh so charming! I attended a wedding here this past weekend and was very pleasantly surprised.. I feel like I haven't seen anything like this up in Jersey. Plenty of parking... outside wedding ... thank God for no rain.. birds were the background soundtrack to this day, which was wonderful. I like how you can walk right from the ceremony to the lower covered section for the reception. Since it was summer in GA, the huge fans helped with that thick heat. The only thing is... some of the attendants were not giving that Southern charm that I was expecting. Not even cracking a smile... the bartenders were friendly enough... but even their warmth couldn't make up for the disappointment of having only beer and wine as options (LOL). Food was decent, nothing to write home about.. except those wonderfully sweet yeast rolls and some of the best shrimp cocktail I've ever eaten. Yassss! The ambiance at Rose Hall is right up my alley... was impressed. read more

Attended a wedding here this past weekend. GPS took us straight to the venue. However, it's easy to miss because it's in between houses on a busy street and looks like another house on the street. There is a big sign right above their mailbox, but there's also a big tree right before said mailbox. The venue is small but pretty. There is a big parking lot adjacent to the building. My friend had an outdoor ceremony on the front lawn, under the gazebo. There is a long aisle in between rose bushes from the house leading to the gazebo. The ceremony was beautiful. The reception was also held outdoors, down the stairs to the back of the building. The dance floor as well as some seating were under a tent with chandeliers. Since it was in the middle of the November, they provided heaters. Everything seemed to be well organized. From a guest's POV, everything went smoothly from cocktail hour to sparkler exit. The food was served buffet style and was delicious! A lot of the guests went back for seconds. I especially enjoyed the pork, mashed potatoes, and chicken tetrazzini. The cake was beautiful and made to resemble the bark of a tree. It was also tasty. My only complaint is that the reception was not long enough. I wasn't ready for the party to end! The ceremony started at 4:30 and the couple exited before 8:30. read more

So appreciative to you and your wonderful staff for creating the perfect atmosphere and rolling out the red carpet so we can be fully present and enjoy the experience!!! Also your call to me the day before to express your concerns around our timeline, based on your expertise that further advised that we increase our photographers hours by one was HUGE!!!! OMG! My son and now my newly daughter in law used this venue to exchanged their vows this past Friday. I must say it was spectacular from start to finish it was everything we thought it could be and more. The staff was very attentive, the food was great. The ambiance really sets this place apart. OMG!!! I can't say enough about Rose Hall Event Center!!!! From the time we went to the venue to have a look at it up to Saturday September 17, 2016 everything came out beautifully. Kaitlyn was wonderful with everything!!!! Lisa the owner was very accommodating and she answered all of my questions. What my us band and I liked about this place was that EVERYTHING is included and we didn't have to go anywhere else searching for anything. Everything went to smoothly and without a hitch. The decorations were beautiful. The ceremony and the reception was done to our specifications. Just got married here a few weeks ago, and it was such a wonderful stress free process. The venue is very organized, professional, and helpful. The DJ that came with our package was fantastic! He played every song on our playlist, and for couples that value their music playlist like we do, you will appreciate this! The florist made beautiful arrangements, and the food will blow your mind. This venue also has decor you can choose from, which helps the budget and which also means you don't have to make things or haul things out on your big day. Although the location is pretty far out, it was easy to get to and the ambiance of the whole place was nice. I loved the small intimate feel of the reception area. The food there was fantastic! The pecan encrusted chicken and the pork was TDF! The staff was very friendly too. read more

We were planning our wedding from out of state. Rose Hall offered everything we could ask for. It was all-inclusive. They gave us one price and set us up with a DJ, food, beverages, alcohol, cake, lighting, ceremony, reception, flowers, and even our outstanding officiant (Scott!). This was all made possible because of Lisa Ford (owner) and Lisa Taylor (wedding coordinator) and their outstanding staff! We had the very best night of our lives! I was married here last Friday! The outside of the venue is beyond beautiful! The inside especially the bridal room needs some upgrading, The lighting inside isn't so great either. Me an my photographer couldn't even get some of them on. It's definitely time to get rid of those green walls. The food was amazing! Everyone loved everything on the menu! The crew was amazing as well! There was some things that we noticed like they forgot to put the floral decor on my cake and that instead of our guest book (that was $100) being somewhere lit up or even by the entrance, it was under the dark tent where the reception was going on so it was missed. Lastly, we asked our Dj while on the phone going over our songs NOT to play any Rkelly, and that did not happen. He even asked the person who made the request to have his back on this on We also have him a cake cutting song that he didn't play instead he decided to play some soft jazz, and when my husband ask him why was that playing he said he was using it for intermission we made an entire list for him and he couldn't stick to it. My photographer couldn't get one of the poses we wanted because they said it had to be before a certain time because the owners actually live on site. Also the rose table cover was not on the cake table, and absolutely no candles on the memory table. All things small details were wrote down when me and my husband did our final details, so that actually can be considered a waste of time. My bouquet though, it was gorgeous! I do think since the venue is showing the venue on days that weddings are actually going to happen they end up rushing to put things together. You also cannot arrive at this venue until 3 hours before your wedding because they are doing showings so it's pretty hard to do a walk through to see if everything is correct because you are getting dressed and pictures taken. You also do not get the full enjoyment of wearing the cute robes and taking pictures in them because you have to have makeup and hair done before arriving. Honestly I know there are venue much more expensive than this one but for the price you should be able to access the venue longer. My MIL wanted to pay for an extra hour which is $600 and I refused to let her. read more

My husband and I attended a wedding at Rose Hall this past Saturday night. While the grounds, food and service were excellent, here are some things that disturbed us. My husband has mobility issues so I dropped him off near the ceremony site. I went to park the car and there were no spaces. For the amount of people the venue can accommodate, the parking is seriously inadequate. I had to park along the road on the side of the venue and when we left, it was pitch black and extremely hard to get to the car. A security guard was parked there, saw us and walked us to our car with his flashlight. The ceremony area did not have enough chairs set up. I watched someone "in authority" come out and ask people to sit on the other side rather than setting up more chairs. . . . Also, it happened to be very hot and humid Saturday night and there was an inadequate number of fans set up. There should be more ceiling fans in the permanent part of the shelter. read more

I had my wedding here on a Sunday evening. The venue was great with organizing everything. I didn't have to look for a florist, baker, caterer, etc. They do all that for you. We planned our wedding in a month and a half and it wouldn't have been possible without Rose Hall. Lisa was very accommodating with our dates. She even gave us the option to have our wedding on a date that would be inconvenient for the venue. However, we chose a date that didn't inconvenience them. The venue is gorgeous. Very nice for an outside wedding. They have space to have the wedding indoors if it should rain but my wedding had beautiful weather so it was not needed. The decor of the venue is done tastefully. The only complaints I have are as follows. I wish the wedding director would have been more on top of things. I had to get things going. I was already very stressed from everything going on and I think a director should lessen the stress of your wedding day. She rarely spoke up. She was mostly standing around. Her voice is very quiet. She was not there for my rehearsal so that caused some confusion. I paid extra for boutonnieres. My grandfather never got his. I was really disappointed about that. I was so busy getting ready. The director should have made sure everyone got their boutonnieres. The director did not direct my wedding unfortunately and really lacked in the ability to do so. Also, all of the staff at the venue fixed themselves a plate of my wedding food and sat down at one of my tables. I thought it was extremely tacky and I got a lot of comments from my guests about it. Other than that, I would have my wedding at this venue again. read more
