CK DanceWorks is a top notch studio! My daughter has been dancing since the age of 3. We have just recently relocated to the area and have been at this studio for a year now. My daughter has danced at 3 other studios across the country and CK DanceWorks by far has been the best studio we have experienced. I could go on and on as to why I love this studio, but here are a couple of my favorite reasons. We were welcomed with open arms from day one and that was important to me as a mom just relocating and not knowing anyone. My daughter has not only learned great dancing techniques, but the studio is so positive that it is contagious. The older girls, look out for the younger girls and it truly feels like an extended family. The opportunity the studio provides is amazing. If your child is a beginner they are a wonderful studio, if your child would like to dance a little more than just recitals they can be involved in their Reach Out program where they can dance at different events in the community and if dancing is your child's life, they offer dance competition teams at different levels. The owners and staff put their hearts and souls into this studio and it shows. Like I said, I was new to the studio and the communication is exceptional. I highly recommend CK Danceworks! This is my daughters 2nd year at CK and she absolutely loves it! The staff here are all very positive and amazing chorographers! My daughter was nervous about coming to a new studio at 14 years old however once she took her first class she never looked back. The girls welcomed her and made her feel right at home. She has grown so much in this past year, its absolutely amazing! CK has classes for all ages, it doesn't matter if your child has never danced or is a trained dancer they offer classes for them all!Another awesome thing to know about CK is how organized and informative they are. You know all the cost/fees upfront as well as the schedule! We start classes next week and already have the dates for all our competitions, shows and even summer camp for next summer! This is amazing, especially for working parents that have to put their "time off" request in early with their jobs. We are so happy to call CK our home away from home and look forward to another amazing season with such an awesome group of people! My family has been a part of CK DanceWorks for 10 years. My oldest daughter is a competitive dancer for them. I am continuously amazed at ALL of the talented kids that are a part of CK. Not only are these children learning the art and skill of dance, but they get so much more out of it. Teamwork, dedication, responsibility, and so much more. This studio also teaches compassion, positivity, and putting others first. When we have traveled to competitions, these kids are complimented continuously on how well mannered and respectable to others they are! CK also reaches out to our special needs community by offering them a class called "A Chance To Dance." This gives these children, including my son with Down Syndrome, the opportunity to dance and be like all of the other kids. They are also included in the end of year recital. Not only is this great for our special needs kids, but it teaches all of the dancers at CK acceptance. I am beyond thankful that CK not only teaches dance but they also are teaching these kids valuable life lessons. My daughter is beginning her 5th year of dance at CK DanceWorks and I truly believe there isn't a better dance studio around Atlanta! Not only is the facility a huge, stand alone, state of the art building, but the teachers don't get any better than the ones at CK. The teachers are extremely talented as well as great role models for all the students. The owners are very involved and present on a daily basis teaching classes and ensuring all the students are getting an amazing dance education. Students are exposed to many different dance styles as well as opportunities to learn from other well known dance teachers in the industry through master classes and conventions. But the thing I value most is that CK truly feels like a family and I know they always have the best interest of the kids in mind when making decisions. My daughter started dancing at CK DanceWorks 8 years ago as something fun to do afterschool. I never imagined I would be sitting here 8 years later writing a review that I feel so passionate about. The little girl that walked in the doors in elementary school is now in middle school. Middle School years can be challenging for all teens, but we are fortunate that have such an amazingly supportive place for her to go and do what she loves everyday. We do not think of CK of just a place that we drop our daughter off to dance. We think of it as a place she goes to express herself, gain confidence, learn time management, work her body & mind and gain life long friendships and relationships. The girls are taught to be kind and to be supportive-so much so, they have been recognized for this at regional competitions. My daughter moved to CK two years ago and it was the BEST decision we ever made!!! Not only has her dance technique improved but her excitement and enthusiasm is over the moon!! The dance instructors are talented, creative, patient and kind! They are a professional group of individuals who truly love what they do!! The communication is the best....hands down!!!! We had our first experience going to a National competition this past summer. It was fabulous, not only because the studio won Best of the best and highest scoring dance but also because of the family atmosphere. My daughter will graduate from high school this year and for the first time she has said she wants to continue dancing in college!! We started at our other studio when she was 3 years old and didn't move to CK until she was 15. I sure wish we had made the move sooner. This is my daughter's first year at CK Danceworks. We recently changed studios as she was needing more of a challenge. She tried several classes both at CK and surrounding studios before deciding to make this her new home. Every time we have stepped through the door, we have been greeted with warm welcomes, answers to any questions we have had, and words of encouragement. My daughter came to CK one year ago - and we could not be happier! The studio is BEAUTIFUL. It has been such a positive experience and have seen amazing growth in my daughter as a dancer in just one year. Not only growth in dancing but growth as a person. My Daughter has danced with CK since she was 3 years old. She is now 7. CK has been great to work with. She has taken ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and now Acro classes. They have very talented teachers who care and are involved with their dancers. This is a school that is focused and centered around competitive dance vs a traditional ballet school. So if that is what you are looking for CK is it. They won several national competitions this year and represented CK and our area very well. We are going into our 4th year dancing at this studio and we are so pleased! Kensey lights up the room with her infectious smile, is a fabulous teacher and so incredibly gifted with the little ones!! My daughter is 13 and has been taking classes since she was 4 years old at CK. At first, she just took recreational classes but after several years of those classes, we realized she had a real passion and talent for dance. CK is so Impressive and professional! We actually pass 6 dance studios and drive 30 minutes just to attend the best studio around. My daughter looks up to her instructors and considers them kind-hearted, driven people that inspire her on and off the dance floor. The other moms at the studio are great too. I can't say enough about how much we love CK Danceworks. My daughter has dance here since the doors opened when she was two and is now 13. The staff is wonderful, caring, and truly a second family.
